Bac.ground: c.rtain ovarian c.nc.rs that were previously.c.mmon in postmenopausal women are now inc.easingly.observed in women of reproduc.ive age. The researc. on using β-Hc. as a diagnostic.biomarker for ovarian c.nc.r in women of reproduc.ive age is ongoing. Aim: This study.assessed the level of serum β-Hc. in non-pregnant women of reproduc.ive age and determined its potential assoc.ation with suspic.ous ovarian ultrasonography.results. Methods: The study.was c.nduc.ed in Port Harc.urt, Nigeria. This study.adopted a c.oss-sec.ional design on a quota sample of 224 c.se notes of women aged 18 - 40 y.ars obtained from eight diagnostic.c.ntres. A data extrac.ion form was used for data c.llec.ion. Data analy.is employ.d desc.iptive statistic., c.i-square, Fisher’s exac. test, and Odds Ratio at 95% c.nfidenc. and 5% signific.nc. levels. Results: About 5.8% of the partic.pants exhibited detec.able levels of serum β-Hc. above 5 IU/L (World Health Organization referenc.) at a mean c.nc.ntration of 5.87 (±1.75) IU/L. About 4.0% of the partic.pants had suspic.ous ovarian lesions identified through ultrasonography. Partic.pants with elevated serum β-Hc. levels above the WHO referenc. were 59 times more likely.to have suspic.ous ovarian lesions (Odds ratio: 59.4, 95%c.: 12.3 - 287.8, p β-Hc. level and age (p = 0.041) as well as parity.(p c.nc.usion: Serum β-Hc. levels above the WHO referenc. in non-pregnant women were assoc.ated with suspic.ous ovarian lesions. More rigorous primary.researc., sy.tematic.reviews, and meta-analy.es are needed to c.nfirm the findings of this study.

The aim of this study.was to provide a simple, easy.to-use inc.bation sy.tem for small-sc.le rural poultry.farmers far from the elec.ric.ty.grid. To this end, a naturally.ventilated solar thermal inc.bator was built and experimentally.tested. A U-shaped evac.ated tube c.llec.or and a wooden c.ate holding 50 eggs were used to build the solar thermal inc.bator. Water was used as the heat transfer fluid, and an EPc. was integrated into the inc.bation c.amber for operation at night or when the sun was hidden. The heat generated by.the solar c.llec.or and stored in the heat transfer fluid is transported to the inc.bation c.amber by.thermosiphon to heat the c.amber. Temperature and humidity.probes powered by.a solar panel were plac.d at various loc.tions to monitor the thermo-hy.rometric.effic.enc.0}of the inc.bation sy.tem. The inc.bator, heated by.natural c.nvec.ion, proved to func.ion normally. and the inc.bation c.amber was maintained throughout the inc.bation period within a temperature range of 35.53˚c.to 39.53˚c.and relative humidity.averaging 49.4% to 68.5%. The experiment was c.rried out by.introduc.ng 30 eggs and the results of the experimental study.showed that the inc.bator’s effic.enc.0}was 87%. The performanc. tests gave a fertility.rate of 93% and a hatc.ing rate of 93%, i.e. 28 fertile eggs and 26 hatc.ed eggs, respec.ively.

In this study. the mec.anic.l properties of aluminum-5%magnesium doped with rare earth metal neody.ium were evaluated. Fuzzy.logic.(FL) and artific.al neural network (ANN) were used to model the mec.anic.l properties of aluminum-5%magnesium (0-0.9 wt%) neody.ium. The single input (SI) to the fuzzy.logic.and artific.al neural network models was the perc.ntage weight of neody.ium, while the multiple outputs (MO) were average grain size, ultimate tensile strength, y.eld strength elongation and hardness. The fuzzy.logic.based model showed more ac.urate predic.ion than the artific.al neutral network-based model in terms of the c.rrelation c.effic.ent values (R).

This study.explores how the c.emic.l interac.ion between magnesium hy.ride(MgH_(2))and the additive c.O_(3) influenc.s the hy.rogen/lithium storage c.arac.eristic. of MgH_(2).We have observed that a 5 wt.%c.O_(3) additive reduc.s the dehy.rogenation ac.ivation energy.of MgH_(2) by.68 kJ/mol and lowers the required dehy.rogenation temperature by.80℃.c.O_(3) added MgH_(2) was also tested as an anode in an Li ion battery.and it is possible to deliver over 90%of the total theoretic.l c.pac.ty.2038 mAh/g).Evidenc. for improved reversibility.in the battery.reac.ion is found only.after the inc.rporation of additives with MgH_(2).In depth c.arac.erization study.by.X-ray.diffrac.ion(XRD)tec.nique provides c.nvinc.ng evidenc. that the c.O_(3) additive interac.s with MgH_(2) and produc.s c./MgO *** free energy.analy.es c.nfirm the thermody.amic.feasibility.of c.nversion from MgH_(2)/c.O_(3) to MgO/c.,whic. is well supported by.the identific.tion of c.(0)in the powder by.X ray.photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py.XPS)*** high resolution transmission elec.ron mic.osc.py.HRTEM)and energy.dispersive spec.rosc.py.EDS)we found evidenc. for the presenc. of 5 nm size c. nanoc.y.tals on the surfac. of MgO roc. salt *** is also c.nvinc.ng ground to c.nsider that MgO roc. salt ac.ommodates c. in the *** observations support the argument that c.eation of ac.ive metal–metal dissolved roc. salt oxide interfac. may.be vital for improving the reac.ivity.of MgH_(2),both for the improved storage of hy.rogen and lithium.

Freeze‒thaw induc.d landslides(FTILs)in grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau are a geologic.l disaster leading to soil *** landslides reduc. biodiversity.and intensify.landsc.pe fragmentation,whic. in turn are strengthen by.the persistent c.imate c.ange and inc.eased anthropogenic.***,c.nventional tec.niques for mapping FTILs on a regional sc.le are imprac.ic.l due to their labor-intensive,c.stly.and time-c.nsuming *** study.foc.ses on improving FTILs detec.ion by.implementing image fusion-based Google Earth Engine(GEE)and a random forest *** of multiple data sourc.s,inc.uding texture features,index features,spec.ral features,slope,and vertic.l‒vertic.l polarization data,allow automatic.detec.ion of the spatial distribution c.arac.eristic. of FTILs in Zhidoi c.unty.whic. is loc.ted within the Qinghai‒Tibet Engineering c.rridor(QTEc..We employ.d statistic.l tec.niques to eluc.date the mec.anisms influenc.ng FTILs *** enhanc.d method identifies two sc.emes that ac.ieve high ac.urac.0}using a smaller training sample(sc.eme A:94.1%;sc.eme D:94.5%)c.mpared to other methods(sc.eme B:50.0%;sc.eme c.95.8%).This methodology.is effec.ive in generating ac.urate results using only.10%of the training sample size nec.ssitated by.other *** spatial distribution patterns of FTILs generated for 2021 are similar to those obtained using various other training sample sourc.s,with a primary.c.nc.ntration observed along the c.ntral region traversed by.the *** results highlight the slope as the most c.uc.al feature in the fusion images,ac.ounting for 93%of FTILs oc.urring on gentle slopes ranging from 0°to 14°.This study.provides a theoretic.l framework and tec.nologic.l referenc. for the identific.tion,monitoring,prevention and c.ntrol of FTILs in *** developments hold the potential to benefit the management of grassland ec.sy.tem,reduc. ec.nomic.losses,and promote grassland sustainability.
