Visible light cross-linking and bioactive peptides loaded integrated hydrogel with sequential release to accelerate wound healing complicated by bacterial infection

The effective management of bacterial infections that are resistant to multiple drugs remains a substantial clinical *** eradication of drug-resistant bacteria and subsequent promotion of angiogenesis are imperative for the regeneration of the infected ***,a novel and facile peptide containing injectable hydrogel with sustained antibacterial and angiogenic capabilities is *** antibacterial peptide that consists of 11 residues(CM11,WKLFKKILKVL)is loaded onto acrylate-modified gelatin through charge interactions.A vascular endothelial growth factor mimetic peptide KLT(KLTWQELYQLKYKGI)with a GCG(Gly-Cys-Gly)modification at the N-terminal is covalently coupled through a visible light-induced thiol-ene *** this reaction,the acrylate gelatin undergoes cross-linkage within *** on the physical/chemical double crosslinking strategy,the bioactive peptides achieve sustained and sequential *** results show that the hydrogel significantly inhibits methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)growth through the rapid release of CM11 peptides at early stage;it forms obvious growth inhibition zones against pathogenic bacterial ***,cell counting kit-8 assay and scratch test confirm that the CM11/KLT-functionalized hydrogels promote cell proliferation and migration through the later release of KLT *** a mouse skin wound infected with self-luminous MRSA,the CM11/KLT-functionalized hydrogels enhance wound healing,with rapidly bacterial infection reduction,lower expression of inflammatory factors,and neovascularization *** results suggest that the rationally designed,sustained and sequential release CM11/KLT-functionalized hydrogels have huge potential in promoting the healing of multi-drug resistant bacterial infected wounds.

With more multi-modal data available for visual classification tasks,human action recognition has become an increasingly attractive ***,one of the main challenges is to effectively extract complementary features from different modalities for action *** this work,a novel multimodal supervised learning framework based on convolution neural networks(Conv Nets)is proposed to facilitate extracting the compensation features from different modalities for human action *** on information aggregation mechanism and deep Conv Nets,our recognition framework represents spatial-temporal information from the base modalities by a designed frame difference aggregation spatial-temporal module(FDA-STM),that the networks bridges information from skeleton data through a multimodal supervised compensation block(SCB)to supervise the extraction of compensation *** evaluate the proposed recognition framework on three human action datasets,including NTU RGB+D 60,NTU RGB+D 120,and *** results demonstrate that our model with FDA-STM and SCB achieves the state-of-the-art recognition performance on three benchmark datasets.

Promoted Non-enzymatic Glucose Sensor Based on Synergistic Effect of Hydrothermal Synthesized Ni(OH)_(2)-Graphene Nanocomposite

Although glucose electrochemical sensors based on enzymes play a dominant role in market,their stability remains a problem due to the inherent nature of ***,glucose sensors that are independent on enzymes have attracted more attention for the development of stable detection *** we present an enzyme-free glucose sensor based on Ni(OH)_(2)and reduced graphene oxide(rGO).The as-fabricated sensor still exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity for detecting glucose under enzyme independent *** enhanced catalytic performance may due to synergistic effect as follows:(i)the interaction between the Ni2+andπelectron of graphene induces the formation of theβ-phase Ni(OH)_(2)with higher catalytic activity;(ii)the frozen dry process works as a secondary filtration,getting rid of poorly formed Ni(OH)_(2)particles with low catalytic activity;(iii)the rGO network with good conductivity provides a good electronic pathway for promoting electron transfer to reduce the response *** on the synergistic effect,the sensor exhibits a wide linear detection range from 0.2µmol/L to 1.0µmol/L and a low detection limit(0.1µmol/L,S/N=3).The excellent detection performance,as well as the easy and low-cost preparation method,suggests the promising applicability of the sensor in the glucose detection market.

Central environmental protection inspection and carbon emission reduction: A tripartite evolutionary game model from the perspective of carbon neutrality

Since the carbon neutrality target was proposed,many countries have been facing severe challenges to carbon emission reduction *** study is conducted using a tripartite evolutionary game model to explore the impact of the central environmental protection inspection(CEPI)on driving carbon emission reduction,and to study what factors influence the strategic choices of each party and how they interact with each *** research results suggest that local governments and manufacturing enterprises would choose strategies that are beneficial to carbon reduction when CEPI *** the initial willingness of all parties increases 20%,50%—80%,the time spent for the whole system to achieve stability decreases from 100%,60%—30%.The evolutionary result of“thorough inspection,regulation implementation,low-carbon management”is the best strategy for the tripartite evolutionary ***,the smaller the cost and the larger the benefit,the greater the likelihood of the three-party game stability strategy *** study has important guiding significance for other developing countries to promote carbon emission reduction by environmental policy.

In this paper,a new cracked stiffener model for the stiffener with a partthrough and open crack is proposed,considering the compatibility condition of displacements between the plate and the *** on the first-order shear deformation theory,the free vibration of stiffened isotropic plates with cracked stiffeners are investigated for the first *** description of the crack parameters is based on the continuous equivalent bending stiffness and equivalent depth of the cracked beam,and it takes into consideration of shear deformation,bending-extensional coupling vibration,and eccentricity between the stiffeners and the *** stiffened plates with single or multiple cracked stiffeners are formulated and *** Ritz method with the modified characteristic functions is applied to demonstrate the effects of crack parameters(crack depth and location)coupling with the position and number of the cracked stiffeners on the vibration frequencies and modes of the stiffened *** validity and accuracy of the present solutions are verified through convergence studies and compared with the finite element results.

Oil-paper insulation material is an essential component for oil-filled transformers,and polyimide(PI)insulation paper is a novel material in the field of *** improvement of insulation class for insulation paper has gained significant attention in recent *** this study,SiO_(2)nanoparticles were modified with a silane coupling agent(KH550),and the KH550-SiO_(2)was added to the fibre membrane through in situ *** chemical composition and microcosmic characteristics of the PI porous fibre membrane were characterised using FT-IR and SEM FT-IR and ***-quently,the dielectric constant of the composite paper was reduced to 2.3 upon adding 3 wt%of KH550-SiO_(2),and the dielectric strength reached its maximum value of 85 kV/*** results demonstrate that the insulation performance of the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI composite was significantly improved due to the incorporation of nano-SiO_(2).This establishes an efficient approach for achieving excellent electrical and thermal properties in practical applications using the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI fibre membrane.

To consider the complex soil-structure interaction in a pile-slope system,it is necessary to analyze the performance of pile-slope systems based on a three-dimensional(3D)numerical *** analysis of a pile-slope system based on 3D numerical modeling is very challenging because it is computationally expensive and the performance function of the pile failure mode is only defined in the safe domain of soil *** this paper,an efficient hybrid response surface method is suggested to study the system reliability of pile-reinforced slopes,where the support vector machine and the Kriging model are used to approximate performance functions of soil failure and pile failure,*** versatility of the suggested method is illustrated in detail with an *** the example examined in this paper,it is found that the pile failure can significantly contribute to system failure,and the reinforcement ratio can effectively reduce the probability of pile *** exists a critical reinforcement ratio beyond which the system failure probability is not sensitive to the reinforcement *** pile spacing affects both the probabilities of soil failure and pile failure of the pile-reinforced *** exists an optimal location and an optimal length for the stabilizing piles.
