objective:The management of oocytes affected by smooth endoplasmic reticulum aggregates(SERa)remains *** understand how to manage SERa+oocytes and cycles,we performed a retrospective cohort study and analyzed the impact of SERa+cycles and oocytes on clinical and neonatal ***:We included 4856 cycles(149 SERa+and 4707 SERa-)from 4201 women(age:21-42 years)who received in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(IVF/ICSl)treatments at the Center of Reproductive Medicine,First Affliated Hospital of Army Military University,from 2016 to ***+cycles had at least one SERa oocyte in the oocyte *** 1722 oocytes in the SERa+cycle were divided into SERa+(405)and SERa-(1317)***:The rates of two pronuclei(2PN)and high-quality embryos were lower in SERa+cycles than in SERa-cycles,regardless of IVF or ICSI(P0.05).conclusion:Normal fertilization with SERa+cycles and oocytes was substantially reduced,regardless of the insemination *** originating from SERa+oocytes can be transferred when there are no other options,but fully informed consent and strict follow-up of fetal development are mandatory.

Phenol and its derivatives are highly toxic pollutants in industrial wastewater for the ecological environments,so there is essential attention to develop effective means of removing these harmful substances from *** this work,the microorganism was immobilized into polymeric composite gel beads prepared by the effective recombination of natural abundant chitosan(CS)and industrial polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)for treating phenolic *** degradation rate of 99.5%can be achieved to treat 100 mg·L^(1)of phenol at 30℃using the fresh resultant immobilized microorganism,where only 21.1%degradation rate was obtained by the free microorganism under the identical *** recycling experiments of repeated 90 times to treat 100 mg·L^(1)of phenol displayed that the degradation rate of phenol was stable to 99%with the appearance of beads unchanged significantly,indicating the immobilized microorganism possessed excellent operating ***,while the phenol derivatives of 100 mg·L^(1)were treated catalytically including pmethylphenol,catechol,and oaminophenol for 24 h by the immobilized microorganism,the degradation rates were all above 95%.The immobilized microorganism into PVACS polymeric composite with excellent operating stability and degradation activity would provide a feasible solution for treating phenolic compounds in water in industrial applications.

The orthogonal Latin hypercube design and its relaxation,and column-orthogonal design,are two kinds of orthogonal designs for computer ***,they usually do not achieve maximum stratifications in multi-dimensional *** this paper,we propose some methods to construct column-orthogonal designs with multi-dimensional stratifications by rotating symmetric and asymmetric orthogonal *** newly constructed column-orthogonal designs ensure that the estimates of all linear effects are uncorrelated with each other and even uncorrelated with the estimates of all second-order effects(quadratic effects and bilinear effects)when the rotated orthogonal arrays have strength larger than *** orthogonality,the resulting designs also preserve better space-filling properties than those constructed by using the existing *** addition,we provide a method to construct a new class of orthogonal Latin hypercube designs with multi-dimensional stratifications by rotating regular factorial *** newly constructed orthogonal Latin hypercube designs are tabulated for practical use.

Studies of range-wide populations can contribute to the comprehension of the relative roles of historical events and contemporary factors that influence genetic variation within and among *** grenadier anchovy,Coilia nasus,is a commercially important fish,which widely distributes in the Changjiang River,the coasts of China and Korea,and the Ariake Sea of *** species exhibits three life-history strategies(anadromous,landlocked and freshwater resident forms).Using two fragments of nuclear DNA,genetic variation within and among 18 populations across the rivers and coast of China and Ariake Sea of Japan was *** of genetic diversity and divergence among populations varied widely across ***'range,and indicated the different effects of historical events and anthropogenic *** genetic divergence between freshwater resident populations and other populations suggested that historical geographical factors greatly influenced the genetic structure of *** genetic differentiation observed among lakes in lower Changjiang River and Huaihe River might be probably influenced by hydraulic *** population genetic structure among the three ecotypes revealed in the present study indicated an important role for environment variation,and the factors responsible for shaping *** different life history strategies might also impact population structure.

Medulloblastoma(MB)is a common yet highly heterogeneous childhood malignant brain tumor,however,clinically effective molecular targeted therapy is *** of hedgehog(HH)signaling by epigenetically targeting the transcriptional factors GLI through bromodomain-containing protein 4(BRD4)has recently spurred new interest as potential treatment of HH-driven *** screening of current clinical BRD4 inhibitors for their inhibitory potency against glioma-associated oncogene homolog(GLI)protein,the BRD4 inhibitor 2 was selected as the lead for further structural optimization,which led to the identification of compounds 25 and 35 as the high potency HH *** profiling showed that both compounds suppressed HH signaling by interacting with the transcriptional factor GLI,and were equally potent against the clinical resistant mutants and the wild type of smoothened(SMO)receptor with IC50 values around 1 nmol/*** the resistant MB allograft mice,compound 25 was well tolerated and markedly suppressed tumor growth at both 5 mg/kg(TGI=83.3%)and 10 mg/kg(TGI=87.6%)*** further modification is needed to improve the pharmacokinetic(PK)parameters,compound 25 represents an efficacious lead compound of GLI inhibitors,possessing optimal safety and tolerance to fight against HH-driven MB.

Effect of electrode change on solidification of slag and metal pool profile in electroslag remelting process

A two-dimensional axisymmetric model is established to study the effect of electrode change on the solidification of slag and metal pool profile during electroslag remelting *** basic considerations of flow and heat transfer are included in the model,and the growth of ingot is described by the dynamic mesh *** electrode melting rate is predicted based on the transient thermal conductivity model between slag and *** results indicate that in the electrode change stage,the slag temperature drops from 1847 to 1763 K gradually and the“hot heart”phenomenon is *** the metal pool profile is slightly changed with a depth decrease from 0.3984 to 0.3688 *** the heating and melting stage of new electrode,the maximum slag temperature firstly increases from 1763 to 1892 K,then decreases to 1845 K,and finally at 3558 s,the maximum slag temperature is stable at 1884 *** slag shell with a maximum volume of 7.31×10^(-3) m^(3) is formed at the electrode tip,and then,the solidified slag melts *** depth of metal pool firstly rises to 0.3700 m and then drops to 0.3565 *** the preheating temperature of the new electrode increases from 473 to 973 K,the maximum volume of solidified slag decreases from 0.00748 to 0.00592 m^(3),and the time from heating to melting of the new electrode decreases from 996 to 887 s.

Nitrate is one of the main inorganic nitrogen sources for *** absorption from soils is achieved through the combined activities of specific nitrate *** transporter 2.1(NRT2.1)is the major component of the root high-affinity nitrate transport system in Arabidopsis *** to date have mainly focused on transcriptional control of ***,we show that NRT2.1 protein stability is also regulated in response to nitrogen nutrition *** seedlings were transferred to nitrate-limited conditions,the apparent half-life of NRT2.1 in roots increased from 3 to 9 *** stabilization of NRT2.1 protein occurred rapidly,even prior to the transcriptional stimulation of ***,we revealed that phosphorylation at serine28(Ser28)of NRT2.1 is involved in regulating the stability of this *** of Ser28 by alanine resulted in unstable NRT2.1,and this loss-of-phosphorylation mutant(NRT2.1S28A)failed to complement the growth-restricted phenotype of the nrt2.1 mutant when a low concentration of nitrate was the sole nitrogen *** results demonstrate that phosphorylation at Ser28 is crucial for NRT2.1 protein stabilization and accumulation in response to nitrate limitation.
