Al2O3 dispersion-strengthened copper alloy was prepared by reactive synthesis and spark plasma sintering（SPS） process. Studies show that nano-sized c-Al2O3 particles with 27.4 nm mean size and 50-nm interval are homogeneously distributed in copper matrix. The density of SPS alloy is about 99 %, meanwhile, the electrical conductivity of sintered alloy is 72 % IACS and the Rockwell hardness can reach to HRB 91.

A variety of vinamidinium salts were condensated with cyanoacetamide in refluxing methanol that contained sodium methoxide to produce 5-aryl-3-cyano-2-pyridones in good yield. Simple experimental conditions were used to prepare ten different 5-aryl-3- cyano-2-pyridones, four of which are new compounds.C 2009 Song Li. Mycobacterium tuberculosis FabH, an essential enzyme in mycolic acids biosynthetic pathway, is an attractive target for novel anti-tuberculosis agents. Structure-based design, synthesis of novel inhibitors of mtFabH was reported in this paper. A novel scaffold structure was designed, and 12 candidate compounds that displayed favorable binding with the active site were identified and synthesized. 2009 Song Li. The W-4.9 Ni-2.1 Fe-xDy2 O3 heavy alloy was fabricated by high-energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering(SPS)technique,and the microstructure,mechanical and friction behavior and anti-corrosion ability were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),Rockwell hardness tester,X-ray diffraction(XRD),reciprocating friction and wear tester,electrochemical station,*** results show that the trace Dy2 O3 particles,which mainly distributes in the W-M(tungsten-matrix)interface and the tungsten matrix phase,can dramatically decrease the tungsten grain size and the amount of O and P impurities aggregating in the interface,promote the γ-(Ni,Fe)bonding phase and tungsten particles uniform distribution,and increase the relative density,hardness,and wear and corrosion resistance *** the excessive Dy2 O3 addition can make the inhibition effect weaken,resulting in the decrease in the comprehensive performances of the ***,the amount of Dy2 O3 should be *** the adding amount of Dy2 O3 particles is 0.7 wt%,the comprehensive performances of the heavy alloy are the best.

AIM:To observe the shifting hierarchy of the conjunctival florae in the patients who employed a long-time topical fluoroquinolone and characterize the consequent variations of their antibiotic sensitivity and ***:A total of 143 eyes(143 patients)who suffered from the non-infectious corneal ulcer and topically used fluoroquinolone more than 2 wk were enrolled as the fluoroquinolone *** untreated fellow eye was considered as the contralateral ***-five healthy subjects were selected as the *** culture positivity and strains of the isolated conjunctival florae were *** antibiotic susceptibility and expression of the virulence-related genes were ***:Florae were recovered from 84.0%,37.1%,and 57.3%of the conjunctival swabs in the control,fluoroquinolone eye,and contralateral eye,*** most frequently isolated microorganisms were Staphylococcus epidermidis(34.9%)in the control,followed by Staphylococcus aureus(17.5%),Staphylococcus saprophyticus(14.3%),Micrococcus(9.5%),Propionibacterium acnes(7.9%).However,those orderly ranks shifted to Staphylococcus aureus(34.0%),Propionibacterium acnes(20.8%),Candida albicans(17.0%),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(9.4%)in the fluoroquinolone eye.A growing number of the fluoroquinolone-resistant florae survived in the fluoroquinolone eye,accompanied by an increased expression of the virulence-related ***:A long-time topical fluoroquinolone leads to a shifting hierarchy of the conjunctival florae,accompanied by the consequent variations of the antibiotic sensitivity and virulence.

Ni-W-GO composite coatings were successfully plated on 45# steel substrate by co-electrodeposition technique in a Ni-W electrolyte solution, with different contents of graphene oxide (GO) nanoparticles in suspen? sion. The structure, phase composition and surface morphology of as-plated composite coatings were characterized by Raman, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) attached with energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS), respectively. The hardness and tribological behavior of the present coatings were also evaluated by Vickers Hardness tester and high-speed reciprocating friction and wear tester, and the wear mechanism was discussed as well. The results show that layer-structured GO nanoparticles significantly affect the microstructure and grain size of the Ni-W-GO composite coatings. Meanwhile, GO nanoparticles embedded in Ni- W-GO coatings can obviously improve the hardness and wear resistance in comparison with the corresp on ding Ni- W coatings. The highest microhardness and wear resistance of Ni-W-GO composite coatings are obtained with 0.15 g·L^-1 GO employing.

Previously we have demonstrated that calcinated antler cancellous bone（CACB） has great potential for bone defect repair,due to its highly similar composition and architecture to natural extracellular bone *** study is aiming at seeking for an optimal strategy of combined application of CACB and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells（BMSCs） in bone defect *** vitro study demonstrated that CACB promoted the adhesion,spreading and viability of *** extracellular matrix production and expression of osteogenic markers in BMSCs were observed when seeded on CACB *** cells ceased to proliferation in the dual effect of CACB and osteogenic induction at the early stage of *** synergistic effect of CACB combined with autologous undifferentiated BMSCs in rabbit mandible critical-sized defect repair was further *** analysis results showed that loading the CACB with autologous BMSCs resulted in enhanced new bone formation and angiogenesis when compared with implanted CACB *** findings indicate that the combination of CACB and autologous BMSCs should become potential routes to improve bone repair efficiency

Designing heterogeneous grain structure（HGS）has been proven to be an effective strategy for overcoming the strength-plasticity dilemma in copper and copper ***,the construction of HGS in dispersionstrengthened copper（DSC） for enhancing strength-plasticity synergy remains ***,we proposed a novel method,multistep ball milling and reduction process followed by spark plasma sintering,to prepare DSC with an HGS to ameliorate the strength-plasticity dilemma in ***-and nano-CuO and nano-Y2O3powders were chosen as raw materials in this new *** Cu-7vol% Y2O3composite,exhibiting a compressive yield strength of 438 MPa and a failure strain of 46.3%,exhibits a superior strength-plasticity tradeoff in comparison with other DSC *** experiments indicate that the back-stress at the heterointerfaces between coarse grains and fine grains maybe not only raise the yield strength of Cu-Y2O3composite,but also significantly enhance the strain hardening to increase the plasticity of the *** new HGS designing route in this study offers a feasible pathway to develop DSC with a remarkable enhancement in strength and plasticity.

The effects of austenite grain size on the deformed microstructure and mechanical properties of an Fe-20Mn-6Al-0.6C-0.15Si(wt.%)low-density steel were *** microstructure of the experimental steel after solution treatment was single austenitic *** austenite grain size increased with solution temperature and time.A model was established to show the relationship between temperature,time and austenite grain size for the experimental *** addition,as the solution temperature increased,the strength decreased,while the elongation first increased and then *** decrease in elongation after solution treatment at 1100℃ for 90 min is contributed to the over-coarse austenite ***,after solution treatment at 900℃ for 90 min,the strength-elongation product reached the highest value of 44.4 GPa%.As the austenite grain size increased,the intensity of//tensile direction fiber *** was accompanied by a decrease in dislocation density,resulting in a lower fraction of low-angle grain boundaries and a lower work hardening ***,the austenite grain size has a critical influence on the mechanical properties of the low-density *** grains lead to a lower yield strength due to the Hall-Petch effect and a lower tensile strength because of lower dislocation strengthening.
