Square-root topological insulators recently discovered are intriguing topological *** possess topological properties inherited from the squared Hamiltonian and exhibit double-band *** mech.nism of the square root was generalized to 2^(n)-root topological insulators,giving rise to more band *** this study,we describe the experimental realization of onedimensional 2^(n)-root topological insulators in photonic waveguide arrays using the archetypical Su-Schrieffer-Heeger(SSH)*** edge states with tunable numbers are clearly observed under visible *** particular,we visualized the dynamic evolutions of the light propagation by varying the sample lengths,which further proved the localization and multiple numbers of edge states in 2^(n)-root topological *** experiment,which involves constructing 2^(n)-root topological photonic lattices in various geometric arrangements,provides a stable platform for studying topological states that exhibit a remarkable degree of flexibility and control.

Within the context of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)and the ch.na-Myanmar Economic Corridor(CMEC),the Dulong-Ir-rawaddy(Ayeyarwady)River,an international river among ch.na,India and Myanmar,plays a significant role as both a valuable hydro-power resource and an essential ecological ***,the water resources and security exhibit a high degree of vulnerabil-ity to climate ch.nge *** research evaluates climate impacts on the hydrology of the Dulong-Irrawaddy River Basin(DIRB)by using a physical-based hydrologic *** crafted future climate scenarios using the three latest global climate models(GCMs)from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6(CMIP6)under two shared socioeconomic pathways(SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5)for the near(2025-2049),mid(2050-2074),and far future(2075-2099).The regional model using MIKE SHE based on historical hydrologic processes was developed to further project future streamflow,demonstrating reliable performance in streamflow simulations with a val-idation nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency(nSE)of *** showed that climate ch.nge projections showed increases in the annual precip-itation and potential evapotranspiration(PET),with precipitation increasing by 11.3%and 26.1%,and PET increasing by 3.2%and 4.9%,respectively,by the end of the century under SSP2-4.5 and *** ch.nges are projected to result in increased annual streamflow at all stations,notably at the basin’s outlet(Pyay station)compared to the baseline period(with an increase of 16.1%and 37.0%at the end of the 21st century under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5,respectively).Seasonal analysis for Pyay station forecasts an in-crease in dry-season streamflow by 31.3%-48.9%and 22.5%-76.3%under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5,respectively,and an increase in wet-season streamflow by 5.8%-12.6%and 2.8%-33.3%,***,the magnitude and frequency of flood events are pre-dicted to escalate,potentially impacting hydropower production and food security *** res

The efficient copolymerization of olefin with polar monomers using nickel-based catalysts presents a longstanding challenge. In this contribution, three phosphine-benzocyclone ligands and corresponding neutral nickel catalysts(ni1: Ar = Ph;ni2: Ar = 2-(C_(6)H_(5))C_(6)H_(4);ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(Me O)_(2)-C_(6)H3]C_(6)H_(4)) were prepared and applied for the ethylene polymerization and copolymerization with polar monomers without any cocatalyst. The bulky substituent groups in complexes ni2 and ni3 contributed to high catalytic activities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respectively), and produced high-molecular-weight polyethylene(Mw up to 545.7 k Da). Complex ni3 exhibited high activities for ethylene polymerization at the level of 10^(6) g·mol ni^(-1)·h^(-1) across a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting excellent high temperature tolerance. These nickel complexes were also effectively employed in the copolymerization of ethylene with methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate and lauryl acrylate, producing copolymers with high molecular weights(Mw up to 80.5 k Da) and high polar monomer incorporation(up to 8.2 mol%). Microstructure analyses revealed that the introduction of large sterically hindered substituents facilitated the incorporation of polar functional units into the polymer backbone. This study demonstrates the potential of these nickel-based catalysts for efficient copolymerization of olefin with polar monomers.

基于180 nm BCD工艺制备出一种P型注入增强型P-I-n结构的单光子雪崩二极管(SPAD)探测器。采用P型漂移区与高压n+埋层之间的低掺杂浓度P型外延层作为I层深结雪崩区,提高了近红外波段的光子探测概率(PDP)。利用低掺杂浓度的P型外延层作为虚拟保护环,防止了器件横向击穿,降低了暗计数率(DCR)。测试结果表明,虚拟保护环宽度(GRW)为5μm时,器件雪崩电压为56 V。在5 V过偏压下600 nm处的峰值PDP为41%,在901 nm的近红外波段下PDP大于6%,DCR为0.56 s^(-1)·μm^(-2),后脉冲率小于1.2%,表现出良好的电学和光学特性。所提出的SPAD器件为硅基高灵敏度近红外单光子探测器设计提供了一种可选的解决方案。

Dynamic nitrification and denitrification processes are affected by ch.nges in soil redox conditions,and they play a vital role in regulating soil n_(2)O emissions in rice-based *** is imperative to understand the influences of different upland crop planting systems on soil n_(2)O *** this study,we focused on two representative rotation systems in Central ch.na:rapeseed–rice(RR)and wheat–rice(WR).We examined the biotic and abiotic processes underlying the impacts of these upland plantings on soil n_(2)O *** results revealed that during the rapeseed-cultivated seasons in the RR rotation system,the average n_(2)O emissions were 1.24±0.20 and 0.81±0.11 kg n ha^(–1)for the first and second seasons,*** values were comparable to the n_(2)O emissions observed during the first and second wheat-cultivated seasons in the WR rotation system(0.98±0.25 and 0.70±0.04 kg n ha^(–1),respectively).This suggests that upland cultivation has minimal impacts on soil n_(2)O emissions in the two rotation *** positive correlations were found between n_(2)O fluxes and soil ammonium(nH_(4)^(+)),nitrate(nO_(3)^(–)),microbial biomass nitrogen(MBn),and the ratio of soil dissolved organic carbon(DOC)to nO_(3)^(–)in both RR and WR rotation ***,the presence of the AOA-amoA and nirK genes were positively associated with soil n_(2)O fluxes in the RR and WR systems,*** implies that these genes may have different potential roles in facilitating microbial n_(2)O production in various upland plantation *** using a structural equation model,we found that soil moisture,mineral n,MBn,and the AOA-amoA gene accounted for over 50%of the effects on n_(2)O emissions in the RR rotation *** the WR rotation system,soil moisture,mineral n,MBn,and the AOA-amoA and nirK genes had a combined impact of over 70%on n_(2)O *** findings demonstrate the interactive effects of functional genes and soil factors,including

The classical Archimedean approximation of π uses the semiperimeter or area of regular polygons inscribed in or circumscribed about a unit circle in R~2 and it is well-known that by using linear combinations of these basic estimates,modern extrapolation techniques can greatly speed up the approximation ***,when n vertices are randomly selected on the circle,the semiperimeter and area of the corresponding random inscribed and circumscribing polygons are known to converge to π almost surely as n→∞,and by further applying extrapolation processes,faster convergence rates can also be achieved through similar linear combinations of the semiperimeter and area of these random *** this paper,we further develop nonlinear extrapolation methods for approximating π through certain nonlinear functions of the semiperimeter and area of such *** focus on two types of extrapolation estimates of the forms χ_n=S_n~αA_n~β and Y_n(p)=(αS_n~p+βA_n~p)~(1/p) where α+β=1,p≠0,and Sn and An respectively represents the semiperimeter and area of a random n-gon inscribed in the unit circle in R~2,and Xn may be viewed as the limit of Y_n(p) when p→*** deriving probabilistic asymptotic expansions with carefully controlled error estimates for Xn and Y_n(p),we show that the choice α=4/3,β=-1/3 minimizes the approximation error in both cases,and their distributions are also asymptotically normal.
