On the basis of a nonhydrostatic numerical model, the interaction of internal solitary wave with slope - shelf was studied. The breaking and polarity transformation were analyzed. A ＂kink＂ structure, due to shoaling topography and higher nonlinear effect, was found to be generated by the leading wave before breaking. Coherent vortex shedding behind the leading wave was presented. The evolution characteristics of the modal structure were analyzed based on the empirical orthogonal function method. The modal structure was complicated due to the effect of the variable topography, especially when breaking occurred. In the performed experiments, the contributions to the total variance from higher mode jumped from no more than 20% to over 40%.

Developing innovative and efficient non-precious-metal-group(non-PMG)electrocatalysts is crucial for the wide use of zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,a single-atom catalyst(termed as Fe-N-C/rGO SAC)with unique five N-coordinated Fe(Fe-N_(5))centers is prepared by pyrolyzing the composite of zeolitic-imidazolate-frameworks-8(ZIF-8)and graphene oxide(GO).Specifically,the individual Fe site is stabilized by four equatorial and one axial N atoms donated by the N-doped carbon matrix and imidazole ring,respectively,thus forming an asymmetric electron depletion zone over the metal center,which can effectively promote the generation of reactive intermediates and accelerate the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)processes for *** rechargeable liquid ZAB with Fe-N-C/rGO catalyst exhibits an extremely high energy density(928.25 Wh·kg^(−1)),a remarkable peak power density(107.12 mW·cm^(−2)),and a long cycle life(400 h).Additionally,the corresponding flexible solid-state ZAB displays superior foldability and remarkable cycling *** work provides both experimental and theoretical guidance for rational design of non-PMG electrocatalyst-driven ZABs.

This study aimed to assess the measurement uncertainty of a new method for determination of allura redin food by high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）. The uncertainty of mathematical model of allura red is based on Europe for Analytical Chemistry（EURACHEM） guidelines. The sources and components of uncertainty were calculated, including recovery, working solution, sample mass, final volume, response of standard solution, response of sample solution. The expanded uncertainty was 0.0024 （k=2）. Uncertainty of working solution was the most significant factor contributing to the total uncertainty, accounting for 86.2%. The uncertainty of volume accounted for the minimum at 0.025%. The developed method is simple and accurate, which can be used for the determination of allura redin puffed samples.

Performance Evaluation of the GRAPES Model in Wind Simulations Over South China

In the present study,the performance of the GRAPES model in wind simulation over south China was *** simulations were evaluated by using surface observations and two sounding stations in south *** results show that the GRAPES model could provide a reliable simulation of the distribution and diurnal variation of the *** showed a generally overestimated southerly wind speed especially over the Pearl River Delta region and the south of jiangxi Province as well as the coastal region over south *** also exhibited a large number of stations with the opposite surface wind directions over the east of Guangxi and the south of jiangxi during the nocturnalto-morning period,as well as an overall overestimation of surface wind over the coastal regions during the *** GRAPES could simulate the general evolutional characteristics of vertical wind profile,it underestimated wind speed above 900 hPa and overestimated wind speed below 900 *** the parameterization scheme of gravity wave drag proved to be an effective method to alleviate the systematic deviation of wind simulation,GRAPES still exhibited large errors in wind simulation,especially in the lower and upper troposphere.
