The applicability and underlying factors of frequency-dependent amplitude-versus-offset(AVO)inversion

Recently,the great potential of seismic dispersion attributes in oil and gas exploration has attracted extensive *** frequency-dependent amplitude versus offset(FAVO)technology,with dispersion gradient as a hydrocarbon indicator,has developed *** on the classical AVO theory,the technology works on the assumption that elastic parameters are frequency-dependent,and implements FAVO inversion using spectral decomposition methods,so that it can take dispersive effects into account and effectively overcome the limitations of the classical ***,the factors that affect FAVO are *** this end,we construct a unified equation for FAVO inversion by combining several Zoeppritz *** study and compare two strategies respectively with(strategy 1)and without(strategy 2)velocity as inversion input *** theoretical models,we investigate the influence of various factors,such as the Zoeppritz approximation used,P-and S-wave velocity dispersion,inversion input data,the strong reflection caused by non-reservoir interfaces,and the noise level of the seismic *** results show that FAVO inversion based on different Zoeppritz approximations gives similar *** addition,the inversion results of strategy 2 are generally equivalent to that of strategy 1,which means that strategy 2 can be used to obtain dispersion attributes even if the velocity is not *** also found that the existence of non-reservoir strong reflection interface may cause significant false ***,logging,geological,and other relevant data should be fully used to prevent this undesirable *** the P-and S-wave related dispersion obtained from FAVO can be used as good indicators of a hydrocarbon reservoir,but the P-wave dispersion is more *** fact,due to the mutual coupling of P-and S-wave dispersion terms,the P-wave dispersion gradient inverted from PP reflection seismic data has a stronger hydrocarbon detection ability than

Design,fabrication,and characterization of hierarchical mechanical metamaterials

Natural mechanical materials,such as bamboo and bone,often exhibit superior specific mechanical properties due to their hierarchical porous *** the principle of hierarchy as inspiration can facilitate the development of hierarchical mechanical metamaterials(HMMs)across multiple length scales via 3D *** this work,we propose self-similar HMMs that combine octet-truss(OCT)architecture as the first and second orders,with cubic architecture as the third or more *** HMMs were fabricated using stereolithography 3D printing,with the length sizes ranging from approximately 200µm to the centimeter *** compressive stress–strain behaviors of HMMs exhibit a zigzag characteristic,and the toughness and energy absorption can be significantly enhanced by the hierarchical *** compressive moduli are comparable to that of natural materials,and the strengths are superior to that of most polymer/metal foams,alumina hollow/carbon lattices,and other natural ***,the flexural stress–strain curves exhibit a nonlinear behavior,which can be attributed to the hierarchical architecture and local damage *** relatively high mechanical properties can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the stretch-dominated OCT architecture and the bending-dominated cube ***,an ultralight HMM-integrated unmanned aerial vehicle(HMM-UAV)was successfully designed and *** HMM-UAV is~85%lighter than its bulk counterpart,remarkably extending the flight duration time(~53%).This work not only provides an effective design strategy for HMMs but also further expands the application benchmark of HMMs.

The high-quality gate dielectric on silicon carbide （SiC） surface is critical to fabricate high-performance SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors（MOSFETs）.This research employs microwave plasma annealing （MPA） to obtain high-quality Al2O3/SiC gate *** designing MPA atmosphere and optimizing the plasma power,the SiC MOS capacitor with a Al2O3dielectric film shows the enhanced *** interface state density is reduced by 1 order of magnitude to 6×1011cm-2·eV-1,the breakdown electric field is increased,and the voltage shift is effectively suppressed Besides,the mechanism of MPA process is discussed in terms of the thermal effect and reactant species.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） results unveil oxygen plasma plays the main *** plasma power during the MPA process results in defect repairs of the firstneighbor Al-O bonding and partial removal of Al-O-H bond from the interface *** study demonstrates that MPA process is an effective option to realize highquality dielectric and interface on SiC.

Global-local combined features to detect pain intensity from facial expression images with attention mechanism

The estimation of pain intensity is critical for medical diagnosis and treatment of *** the development of image monitoring technology and artificial intelligence,automatic pain assessment based on facial expression and behavioral analysis shows a potential value in clinical *** paper reports a framework of convolutional neural network with global and local attention mechanism(GLA-CNN)for the effective detection of pain intensity at four-level thresholds using facial expression ***-CNN includes two modules,namely global attention network(GANet)and local attention network(LANet).LANet is responsible for extracting representative local patch features of faces,while GANet extracts whole facial features to compensate for the ignored correlative features between *** the end,the global correlational and local subtle features are fused for the final estimation of pain *** under the UNBC-McMaster Shoulder Pain database demonstrate that GLA-CNN outperforms other state-of-the-art ***,a visualization analysis is conducted to present the feature map of GLA-CNN,intuitively showing that it can extract not only local pain features but also global correlative facial *** study demonstrates that pain assessment based on facial expression is a non-invasive and feasible method,and can be employed as an auxiliary pain assessment tool in clinical practice.

A series of rare earth metals modified birnessite manganese dioxides(RE-Mn)was synthesized by hydrothermal method and their catalytic degradation of toluene was ***-Mn shows the best toluene oxidation activity with the conversion of T50%and T99%at 196 and 226℃,*** physiochemical characterizations identified that the high catalytic performance and excellent stability of Yb-Mn are mainly associated with its higher molar ratios of Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+),more lattice oxygen(Olatt),and better mobility of surface adsorbed oxygen(O_(ads)).Moreover,it is confirmed that introduction of Yb into birnessite MnO_(2) facilitates the production of acetic acid at lower *** results can aid the design of high-efficiency manganese oxide catalysts for the catalytic combustion of VOCs.

Central environmental protection inspection and carbon emission reduction: A tripartite evolutionary game model from the perspective of carbon neutrality

Since the carbon neutrality target was proposed,many countries have been facing severe challenges to carbon emission reduction *** study is conducted using a tripartite evolutionary game model to explore the impact of the central environmental protection inspection(CEPI)on driving carbon emission reduction,and to study what factors influence the strategic choices of each party and how they interact with each *** research results suggest that local governments and manufacturing enterprises would choose strategies that are beneficial to carbon reduction when CEPI *** the initial willingness of all parties increases 20%,50%—80%,the time spent for the whole system to achieve stability decreases from 100%,60%—30%.The evolutionary result of“thorough inspection,regulation implementation,low-carbon management”is the best strategy for the tripartite evolutionary ***,the smaller the cost and the larger the benefit,the greater the likelihood of the three-party game stability strategy *** study has important guiding significance for other developing countries to promote carbon emission reduction by environmental policy.

The critical role of energetic fluctuations in charge separation for efficient molecular doping of organic semiconductors

Molecular doping is essential to improve the electrical conductivity of organic semiconductors for high-performance organic electronic devices. However, the doping efficiency is influenced by several factors, such as the energy levels, energetic fluctuations, dielectric properties, and molecular packing structures of the doped films, and the underlying mechanisms for highefficiency doping are still unclear. Here, through multi-level theoretical simulations on a series of fullerene derivatives, we identify that the energetic fluctuations can play a decisive role in activating charge separation for molecular doping. In particular,the doping efficiency appears to be exponentially increased with the fluctuation of charge polarization energies. Therefore,although the charge mobility is somewhat decreased, the experimental electrical conductivity is improved with the increased energetic fluctuation. Moreover, it has been found that polarization energy fluctuation can be effectively enhanced by simply introducing side chains with greater flexibility into organic semiconductors. This article paves the way towards high-efficiency molecular doping of organic semiconductors.

Multi-endpoint assays reveal more severe toxicity induced by chloraminated effluent organic matter than chloraminated natural organic matter

Disinfection by chloramination produces toxic byproducts and the difference in toxicity of reclaimed and drinking water treated by chloramination remains *** study investigated cytotoxic effects at the same concentrations of dissolved organic matter and showed that chloraminated effluent organic matter(EfOM)induced 1.7 times higher cytotoxicity than chloraminated natural organic matter(NOM)applied to simulate drinking *** EfOM induced more reactive nitrogen species than chloraminated NOM,and chloraminated EfOM and NOM induced similar and higher levels of reactive oxygen species than the negative control,***,intracellular macromolecule damage indicated by DNA/RNA damage marker 8–hydroxy-(deoxy)guanosine and the intracellular protein carbonyl concentration induced by chloraminated EfOM was higher and slightly more than that induced by chloraminated NOM,*** data were consistent with the effects on cell physiological *** cycle arrest mainly occurred in G2 phase by chloraminated EfOM and *** apoptotic cells,which could return to normal,increased upon exposure to high concentrations of chloraminated EfOM and ***,necrotic cells were significantly increased from 0.5%to 2.5%when the concentration increased from 20-to 60-fold chloraminated EfOM,but were not obviously changed by chloraminated *** results indicated that the comprehensive intracellular changes induced by toxic substances in chloraminated EfOM were more irreversible and induced more cell death than chloraminated NOM.
