Objective:To confirm the efficacy and safety of Ganyushu Granule(GYSG)in treating premenstrual syndrome(PMS)in patients with Gan(Liver)depression and qi stagnation syndrome(GDQSS)and determine its effective ***:From June 2018 to March 2021,a total of 240 PMS women with GDQSS were included and randomly divided into 3 groups in a 1:1:1 ratio using central block randomization:high-dose GYSG group(n=78,GYSG 2 packs/time),low-dose GYSG group(n=82,GYSG and its simulant 1 pack/time),and placebo group(n=80,GYSG simulant 2 packs/time).Treatment with GYSG or placebo was given thrice daily and for up to 3 menstrual *** outcomes were PMS diary(PMSD)score and premenstrual tension syndrome self-rating scale(PMTS).Secondary outcomes were Chinese medicine(CM)syndrome ***,PMTS,and efficacy of CM were evaluated with menstrual cycles during the treatment *** indicators were analyzed after each menstrual *** analyses were performed using an intention-to-treat method,and clinical safety was ***:Of the 216 patients included in the effectiveness analysis,70,75,and 71 patients were in the high-,low-dose GYSG,and placebo groups,*** the 2nd treatment cycle,the change in PMSD scores in the high-and low-dose groups was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).PMTS scores in the high-dose GYSG group after the 1st treatment cycle was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05),while after the 3rd treatment cycle,that in the low-dose group was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).After the 2nd treatment cycle,the high-dose GYSG group had the best CM syndrome efficacy(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions were ***:GYSG was safe and well-tolerated at both doses for treating PMS patients with ***-dose GYSG might be the optimal dose for a phaseⅢtrial.

Compensation temperatures and hysteresis behaviors of a graphene-like trilayer

Background, Motivation and Objective Analogous to optical interferometry, scientists have developed seismic interferometry(SI) method, and its application in the field data have promoted the understanding and study of seismic wave propagation. Seismic interferometry can be applied to both controlled-source data and passive data. Under specific circumstances, the useful subsurface information can be retrieved with passive noise source seismic interferometry. In recent years, researchers have successfully retrieved body waves by cross-correlating wave fields observed at two receivers. The retrieved wave fields are mostly between pairs of receivers in the surface. When the new wave fields are retrieved between two receiver positions, it is called inter-receiver SI, and the inter-source SI is the wave fields retrieved between two source positions. The principle is known as seismic interferometry or Green’s function retrieval. An alternative to the cross correlation(CC) is the multidimensional deconvolution(MDD), which has the potential to suppress artifacts due to source irregularity. Statement of Contribution/Methods Using source-receiver reciprocity, we can retrieve the Green’s function between pairs of sources positions. With a numerical example, we show that the retrieved wave fields by inter-source MDD is more adequate than that by CC. To suppress the artifacts, we separate the wave fields recording at receivers into inward and outward wave fields to improve the quality of imaging. In a simple model, the inward and outward wave fields reduce to primary reflected waves and direct waves. In this letter, we use the method for passive seismic interferometry by inter-source MDD and established two kinds of model, one is the sources are aligned at a given depth and the other one is the irregular source distribution. We compare the results of both CC and inter-source MDD, and analyzed to further demonstrate the effectiveness of the inter-source MDD method. Results The res

Objective:To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA) in promoting recovery of the facial function with the involvement of autophagy,glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF),and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) signaling ***:Seventy-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly allocated into the control,sham-operated,facial nerve injury(FNI),EA,EA+3-methyladenine(3-MA),and EA+GDNF antagonist groups using a random number table,with 12 rats in each *** FNI rat model was established with facial nerve crushing *** intervention was conducted at Dicang(ST 4),Jiache(ST 6),Yifeng(SJ 17),and Hegu(LI 4) acupoints for 2 *** Simone’s 10-Point Scale was utilized to monitor the recovery of facial *** histopathological evaluation of facial nerves was performed using hematoxylin-eosin(HE) *** levels of Beclin-1,light chain 3(LC3),and P62 were detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC),immunofluorescence,and reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction,***,IHC was also used to detect the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and ***:The facial functional scores were significantly increased in the EA group than the FNI group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).HE staining showed nerve axons and myelin sheaths,which were destroyed immediately after the injury,were recovered with EA *** expressions of Beclin-1 and LC3 were significantly elevated and the expression of P62 was markedly reduced in FNI rats(P<0.01);however,EA treatment reversed these abnormal changes(P<0.01).Meanwhile,EA stimulation significantly increased the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and mTOR(P<0.01).After exogenous administration with autophagy inhibitor 3-MA or GDNF antagonist,the repair effect of EA on facial function was attenuated(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:EA could promote the recovery of facial function and repair the facial nerve damages in a rat model of *** may exert this neuroreparative effect through

Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT) is mostly used for position verification during the treatment process. However,severe image artifacts in CBCT hinder its direct use in dose calculation and adaptive radiation therapy re-planning for proton therapy. In this study, an improved U-Net neural network named CBAM-U-Net was proposed for CBCT noise reduction in proton therapy, which is a CBCT denoised U-Net network with convolutional block attention modules. The datasets contained 20 groups of head and neck images. The CT images were registered to CBCT images as ground truth. The original CBCT denoised U-Net network, sCTU-Net, was trained for model performance comparison. The synthetic CT(SCT) images generated by CBAM-U-Net and the original sCTU-Net are called CBAM-SCT and U-Net-SCT images, respectively. The HU accuracies of the CT, CBCT, and SCT images were compared using four metrics: mean absolute error(MAE), root mean square error(RMSE), peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR), and structure similarity index measure(SSIM). The mean values of the MAE, RMSE, PSNR, and SSIM of CBAM-SCT images were 23.80 HU, 64.63 HU, 52.27 dB, and 0.9919, respectively,which were superior to those of the U-Net-SCT images. To evaluate dosimetric accuracy, the range accuracy was compared for a single-energy proton beam. The γ-index pass rates of a 4 cm × 4 cm scanned field and simple plan were calculated to compare the effects of the noise reduction capabilities of the original U-Net and CBAM-U-Net on the dose calculation results. CBAM-U-Net reduced noise more effectively than sCTU-Net, particularly in high-density tissues. We proposed a CBAM-U-Net model for CBCT noise reduction in proton therapy. Owing to the excellent noise reduction capabilities of CBAM-U-Net, the proposed model provided relatively explicit information regarding patient tissues. Moreover, it maybe be used in dose calculation and adaptive treatment planning in the future.
