In recent years,a new process for leaching scheelite concentrates with sulfur-phosphorus mixed acid has been successfully *** process suffers from the elimination of the retarding effect of calcium sulfate,the selective extraction of tungsten from the H3PW12O40-H2SO4-H3PO4mixture solution,and the removal of introduced ***,in this paper,we investigated the inhibition measures of a calcium sulfate-blocking membrane,the selective extraction of tungsten by ion exchange,and the removal of phosphorus by the magnesium ammonium salt *** results showed that the addition of calcium sulfate whisker seeds and a higher H3PO4concentration inhibited spontaneous diffuse nucleation,promoted crystal growth,and avoided the formation of a dense blocking *** 98 wt.% of the scheelite concentrate was digested by *** selective adsorption of PW12O403-was realized using D301 resin,and the extraction efficiency of tungsten exceeded 99.9%.After desorption with ammonia water,PW12O403-was depolymerized into WO42-and PO43-.99.9 wt.% of phosphorus was removed in the form of MgNH4PO4by the magnesium ammonium salt method,and the residual phosphorus concentration in the solution was lower than 10 mg·*** purification,the highest-grade ammonium paratungstate product was prepared by evaporative crystallization.

Sarcopenia reflects patient frailty and should be routinely assessed due to its high prevalence in cirrhotic patients awaiting liver ***-transplant nutritional optimization should be tailored for patients with a definitive diagnosis of sarcopenia,therefore improving functional status at transplant and reducing posttransplant *** and transplant surgeons should have raised awareness regarding sarcopenia and the reflected frailty that hinder posttransplant *** policymakers should also take into account when modifying the organ allocation model that sarcopenia or frailty might become a decisive factor in allocating organs for cirrhotic patients,in order to ensure post-transplant survival and quality of life.

Increasing the utilization efficiency of photogenerated electrons is highly recognized as one of the ef-ficient approaches to boost the photocatalytic CO_(2)conversion ***,ZIF-67-derived porous carbon(PC)material was employed for the construction of PC@ultrafine Bi_(12)O_(17)Br_(2)nanotubes(PC@BOB NTs)composites through a facile solvothermal synthesis in order to optimize the use of excited elec-trons in the BOB *** characterization results revealed that the introduction of PC material achieved a faster charge separation rate in the PC@BOB composites,ensuring more photogener-ated electrons participate in the CO_(2)adsorption and activation ***,the pore structures of ZIF-67-derived PC material provided abundant confined spaces for the enrichment of CO_(2)***-ter 5 h of Xenon lamp irradiation,PC@BOB composites exhibited obviously increased photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction activity in the pure *** the addition amount of PC was 5 wt%,the PC@BOB-2 com-posite showed the highest CO evolution rate of 359.70μmol/g,which was 2.95 times higher than that of the pure BOB *** work provides some independent insights into the applications of Metal-Organic Framework(MOF)-derived hierarchical porous structures to strengthen the CO_(2)enrichment,as well as the excited charge utilization efficiency,thus achieving a high solar-to-fuel conversion efficiency.

Background:Conditional survival(CS)provides dynamic prognostic estimates by considering the patients existing survival *** CS for endemic nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is lacking,we aimed to assess the CS of endemic NPC and establish a web-based calculator to predict individualized,conditional sitespecific recurrence ***:Using an NPC-specific database with a big-data intelligence platform,10,058 endemic patients with non-metastatic stage I–IVA NPC receiving intensity-modulated radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy between April 2009 and December 2015 were *** CS estimates of conditional overall survival(COS),conditional disease-free survival(CDFS),conditional locoregional relapse-free survival(CLRRFS),conditional distant metastasis-free survival(CDMFS),and conditional NPC-specific survival(CNPC-SS)were ***-adjusted CS estimates were generated using inverse probability weighting.A prediction model was established using competing risk models and was externally validated with an independent,non-metastatic stage I–IVA NPC cohort undergoing intensity-modulated radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy(n=601)at another ***:The median follow-up of the primary cohort was 67.2 *** 5-year COS,CDFS,CLRRFS,CDMFS,and CNPC-SS increased from 86.2%,78.1%,89.8%,87.3%,and 87.6%at diagnosis to 87.3%,87.7%,94.4%,96.0%,and 90.1%,respectively,for an existing survival time of 3 years since *** in CS estimates between prognostic factor subgroups of each endpoint were noticeable at diagnosis but diminished with time,whereas an ever-increasing disparity in CS between different age subgroups was observed over ***,the prognoses of patients that were poor at diagnosis improved greatly as patients survived *** individualized CS predictions,we developed a web-based model to estimate the conditional risk of local(C-index,0.656),regional(0.667),bone(0.742),lung(0.681),and liver(0.711)recurren

The carbon dioxide （CO2） reduction process involves complex protonation, making the resulting product often unpredictable. To achieve the desired product, it is crucial to manipulate the reaction steps. Herein, we build the metal atom pair sites for selective CO2photoreduction into methane. As a prototype, Ni atom pair sites loaded on the Mo S2nanosheets were synthesized and verified by highresolution transmission electron microscopy （HRTEM）,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and X-rayabsorption near edge structure spectra （XANES）. In-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） monitors the*CHO group, a crucial intermediate in CH4production,during CO2photoreduction on the Ni-Mo S2nanosheets,whereas this monitoring is not observed for the Mo S2nanosheets. Also, theoretical calculations disclose that over the Ni-Mo S2nanosheet slab, the formation energy of*CHO intermediates is determined to be lower （0.585 e V） than the desorption energy of*CO intermediates for CO production（0.64 e V）, implying the higher selectivity of CH4production. Accordingly, the Ni-Mo S2nanosheets demonstrate a methane formation rate of 27.21μmol·g-1·h-1, coupled with an impressive electron selectivity of 94.2%.

Most described Mesozoic ants belong to stem groups that existed only during the Cretaceous period. Previously, the earliest known crown ants were dated to the Turonian (Late Cretaceous, ca. 94-90 million years ago (Ma)) deposits found in the USA, Kazakhstan, and Botswana. However, the recent discovery of an alate male ant in Kachin amber from the earliest Cenomanian (ca. 99 Ma), representing a new genus and species, Antiquiformica alata, , revises the narrative on ant diversification. Antiquiformica can be distinctly differentiated from all known male stem ants by its geniculate antennae with elongated scape, extending far beyond the occipital margin of the head and half the length of the funiculus, as well as its partly reduced forewing venation. Furthermore, the combination of a one-segmented waist with a well- developed node, elongated scape extending beyond the occipital margin, and reduced forewing venation, particularly the completely reduced m-cu and rs-m crossveins and absence of rm and mcu closed cells, firmly places the fossil within the extant subfamily Formicinae. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed that the amber containing Antiquiformica alata originated from the Kachin mines in Myanmar. This discovery significantly revises our understanding of the early evolution of Formicinae. The presence of Antiquiformica in Cenomanian amber indicates that the subfamily Formicinae emerged at least by the start of the Late Cretaceous, with crown ants likely originating earlier during the earliest Cretaceous or possibly the Late Jurassic, although paleontological evidence is lacking to support the latter hypothesis.
