Development of degradable polyester elastomers plays an important role in the applications of soft *** polymenthides(PMs)from menthol derived lactone monomers are excellent soft segments for preparing degradable polyester *** using cyclic trimeric phosphazene base(CTPB)as an organocatalyst,we succesfully synthesized PMs with different molecular weights(8.2 kDa to 100.7 kDa)in high yields via ring-opening polymerization(ROP)of *** a CTPB/urea binary catalytic system was adopted,the polymerizations proceeded in a more controlled *** glycerol as initiator,star shaped PMs with *** structure were synthesized and subsequently end-capped by *** iradiation of the terminal acrylate groups in the star-shaped PMs resulted in formation of chemically cos-linked polyester elastomers without heat or other *** obtained polyester elastomers exhibit matched modulus(3.8-5.5 MPa),tensile strength(0.56-0.68 MPa),and strain at break(280%-320%)with soft body tssues,displaying great potential in biomedical applications.

On 2012 March 7, the STEREO Ahead and Behind spacecraft, along with near-Earth spacecraft （e.g. SOHO, Wind） situated between the two STEREO spacecraft, observed an extremely large global solar energetic particle （SEP） event in Solar Cycle 24. Two successive coronal mass ejections （CMEs） have been detected close in time. From the multi-point in-situ observations, it can be found that this SEP event was caused by the first CME, but the second one was not involved. Using velocity dispersion analysis （VDA）, we find that for a well magnetically connected point, the energetic protons and electrons are released nearly at the same time. The path lengths to STEREO-B （STB） for protons and electrons have a distinct difference and deviate remarkably from the nominal Parker spiral path length, which is likely due to the presence of interplanetary magnetic structures situated between the source and STB. Also, the VDA method seems to only obtain reasonable results at well-connected locations and the inferred release times of energetic particles in different energy channels are similar. We suggest that good-connection is crucial for obtaining both an accurate release time and path length simultaneously, agreeing with the modeling result of Wang ＆ Qin （2015）.

Recent advances have demonstrated that a machine learning technique known as "reservoir computing" is a significantly effective method for modelling chaotic systems. Going beyond short-term prediction, we show that long-term behaviors of an observed chaotic system are also preserved in the trained reservoir system by virtue of network measurements. Specifically, we find that a broad range of network statistics induced from the trained reservoir system is nearly identical with that of a learned chaotic system of interest. Moreover, we show that network measurements of the trained reservoir system are sensitive to distinct dynamics and can in turn detect the dynamical transitions in complex systems. Our findings further support that rather than dynamical equations, reservoir computing approach in fact provides an alternative way for modelling chaotic systems.

Metal chalcogenides with multiple lithium ions storage capability have received extensive attentions in recent years;however,their practical application is restricted by the structural instability and poor ***,a unique structure of N and S co-doped C/TiO_(2)nanofibers is reported to support SnS nanosheets for fast and ultra-stable lithium *** incorporation of TiO_(2)can notably suppress the excessive uncontrollable growth of SnS and improve the structural stability of the electrode *** effects of the ratios between Ti and Sn and the corresponding synthesis temperatures on the structure and electrochemical properties of the electrodes have been systematically *** interface charge transfer behavior of SnS and TiO_(2)composite heterostructure was clarified by density functional theory(DFT)*** electronic interaction SnS and TiO_(2)can effectively reduce the energy band gap and form a built-in electric field at the interface of the two *** is beneficial for the adsorption of lithium ion and consequently accelerate the reaction kinetics of the electrode *** the two phases are combined,the agglomeration of SnS is effectively suppressed,and the overall conductivity of the composite is greatly ***,the synergistic effect induced by SnS and TiO_(2)enables the good stability of the electrode in both lithium-ion half-cells and full *** work can provide new insights toward improving the performance of alloy-type anodes.

Li_(3)VO_4 has been considered as a promising insertion-type anode for lithium-ion batteries due to its high theoretical specific capacity and suitable operating voltage platform. However, this promising anode still suffers from poor electrical conductivity. To address this issue, herein, a porous carbon supported Li_(3)VO_4 composites(Li_(3)VO_4/C) via a facile agitation-drying method combined with subsequent calcination is reported, in which Ketjen black carbon with high porosity, easy dispersion and excellent conductivity can serve as one of carbon sources. The Li_(3)VO_4/C composite prepared at 700 ℃ with a carbon content of~10% exhibits the optimized structure. The void space of the composite accommodates the volume changes during the charge/discharge ***, the carbon shell serves as a conductive skeleton to provide bi-continuous Li ions and electrons pathways. Electrochemical results reveal that the composite delivers a high initial discharge capacity of 572 m Ahág^(-1) and maintains a capacity of 442.9 m Ahág^(-1) after 100 cycles at 100 m Aág^(-1). Even at a high current density of 2 Aág^(-1), a considerable capacity of 243.8 m Ahág^(-1) can still be obtained. This work provides a promising approach for the practical application of Li_(3)VO_4 as anode material for LIBs.

The cabin air pressure remains lower than the horizontal atmospheric pressure when the airplane is in *** pressure is one of the parameters that must be taken into consideration while studying the thermal environment of an airplane *** are still no reference values for aircraft cabins despite the fact that numerous studies on low pressure heat transfer have demonstrated the connection between convective heat transfer coefficient(CHTC)and air *** this paper,a correction method for CHTC under low pressure conditions was established by using the dummy heat dissipation in the low-pressure cabin *** this basis,a thermal environment simulation model was developed,then was applied to the simulation of a seven-row aircraft cabin containing 42 passengers,and the CHTC and heat loss of dummy surface in the cabin were ***,the results of PMV calculated by using heat dissipation and air parameters at sampling points were *** results show that the modified CHTC can accurately reflect the cabin thermal environment under low pressure conditions,and the correction of CHTC can be realized by adjusting the turbulent Prandtl number,which is nonlinear correlated with the *** simulation results of the thermal environment in the seven-row cabin show that the CHTC changes by about 42%before and after *** air pressure decreases during take-off,which reduces the average CHTC of the crew surface from 5.09 W/(m^(2)·K)to 4.56 W/(m^(2)·K),but the air temperature rises by about 0.2°C as a *** deviation of PMV results calculated by using simulated heat loss data and using air parameters of measuring points in space is up to 0.5,but the latter is representative for calculating the thermal comfort level of the whole cabin.

Mobile telemedicine systems based on the next-generation communication will significantly enhance deep fusion of network automation and federated learning(FL), but data privacy is a paramount issue in sectors like healthcare. This work hence considers FL augments 5G-and-beyond networks by training deep learning(DL) models without the need to exchange raw data. The substantial communication loads imposed on by extensive parameters involved in DL models are managed through adaptive scheduling mechanisms effectively. To address the opaque nature of DL models and to improve the interpretability of FL models, we introduce a convolutional fuzzy rough neural network specifically designed for medical image processing. We also develop a multiobjective memetic evolutionary algorithm to streamline and optimize the neural network architectures. Our comprehensive FL framework integrates smart scheduling, interpretable fuzzy rough logic,and neuroevolution. This framework is shown to improve communication efficiency, increase interpretability of diagnosis with protected privacy, and generate low-complexity neural architectures.

Dissolution kinetics and reaction mechanism of Al_(2)O_(3) in molten CaF_(2)-cao-Al_(2)O_(3) slag

The dissolution behavior of Al_(2)O_(3) in molten CaF_(2)-cao-Al_(2)O_(3) slag,a basic slag system of electroslag remelting process,was investigated by rotating cylinder method using corundum rods to simulate Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in *** experimental results show that the dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3);rods in CaF_(2)-cao-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in rotating speed and temperature,and the rate-controlling step is the mass transfer in the *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O,in CaF_(2)-cao-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in the ratio of cao to Al_(2)O_(3),which is due to the increase in dissolution driving force and the decrease in slag *** apparent activation energy of the mass transfer of AlOs in slag C is calculated to be 222.86 kJ mol^(-1).During the dissolution of Al_(2)0,inclusions in the slag,it reacts with F in liquid slag at first,then reacts with cao to form the intermediate compounds of xcao-yAl_(2)O_(3) system,and finally dissolves in molten *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in CaF_(2)-cao-Al_(2)O_(3) slag for electroslag remelting is positively correlated with the ratio of the dissolution driving force and slag viscosity,and the correlation coeficient is 2.487×10^(-11).

Calcium fluoride(CaF_(2))is an ideal adsorbent for the dehydration of gaseous hydrogen fluoride(HF)containing water *** this work,a novel CaF_(2)absorbent,spherical CaF_(2)nanoaggregates(NAs)with a closely packed structure,was proposed and efficiently fabricated by spray drying *** the building blocks of CaF_(2)NAs,the CaF_(2)nanoparticles(NPs)were prepared by the addition of excess calcium ions(Ca^(2+))or fluorine ions(F−)in the *** results indicated that the CaF_(2)NPs synthesized by excess Ca^(2+)and the corresponding NAs exhibited much better water vapor adsorption properties than their counterparts by excess F−,owing to higher zeta *** importantly,whether excess Ca^(2+)or F^(−),CaF_(2)NAs had further enhanced water vapor adsorption capacity compared to primary CaF_(2)NPs,possibly owing to their unique nano-micro secondary structures and higher surface *** work has great potential in the development of high-performance absorbents for separating moisture from corrosive gas HF.
