Mature-green tomato fruit （Solanum lycopersicum cv. Zhenfen 202） were exposed to different UV-C irradiation at 2, 4, 8, and 16 kJ m-2 and then stored under the dark at 14°C and 95% relative humidity （RH） for 35 d. Of these four doses, UV-C irradiation at 4 and 8 kJ m-2 significantly increased total phenolic contents in present tomato fruit by 21.2 and 20.2%, respectively. Furthermore, UV-C irradiation at 4 or 8 kJ m-2 promoted the accumulation of total flavonoids and increased the antioxidant activity. 2 or 16 kJ m-2 UV-C irradiation also enhanced antioxidant activity, but to a lesser extent. Seven phenolic compounds, viz., gallic acid, （＋）-catechin, chlorogenic acid, cafferic acid, syringic acid, p-coumaric acid, and quercetin in tomato fruit were identified and quantified by HPLC. Gallic acid was the major phenolic compound in tomato fruit and significantly correlated with antioxidant activity. 4 or 8 kJ m-2 UV-C irradiation significantly increased the contents of gallic acid, chlorogenic acid, syringic acid, p-coumaric acid, and quercetin. The optimum dose of UV-C irradiation in terms of increased phenolic compound content and enhanced Antioxidant activity was determined to be 4 or 8 kJ m-2.

Active oxygen quantum yield, insecticidal activities and stability of diphenylthiophene were studied for the first time. The results showed that maximum diphenylthiophene absorbency variety was 0.438 after irradiation for 280 min and that of α- terthienyl （α-T） was 0.480 after irradiation for 200 min with UV. LCs0 values ofdiphenylthiophene and α-T against 3rd instar larvae ofAedes albopictus were 9.18 × 10^-3 and 9.69× 10^-4 μg mL^-1 when treated for 24 h, respectively. LC50 values of the two chemicals against the 3rd instar larvae of Plutella xylostella were 267.87 and 222.22 μg mL^-1 when treated for 24 h, respectively. The half lives of diphenylthiophene and α-T in methanol were 113.62 and 10.65 h. Difference between quantum yield of diphenylthiophene and α-T was not significant and they all possessed high toxicity to Aedes albopictus and Plutella xylostella, but diphenylthiophene was more stable than α-T. It could be concluded that diphenylthiophene has overcome the deficiency of photoactivated insecticides which degraded quickly in the environment and could not be applied on the field. Diphenylthiophene could kill the insects and accelerate the degradation rate of triazophos. The benefits of diphenylthiophene can be further exploited and applied on the field.

This paper has determined the compositions and hot rolling processes of the hot rolled beam steel plates with excellent surface oxide layer for automobiles by investigating the oxide layer forming principle and its influence factors,and the feature of the steel oxide *** microstructure,mechanical properties,oxide layer shape and structural composition of the steel plates are analyzed by using metallographic structures examination,SEM analyzing,X-ray diffraction instrument and mechanical properties *** result shows that the trial hot rolled frame steel plates have an excellent oxide layer adhesion,the Fe 3 O 4 proportions is greater than 85% in the oxide layer,and the oxide layer thickness is less than or equal to 10μ*** product has been trial-manufactured more than 100 thousands ton,and used to stamp the beam parts of automobiles straightly in no pickling *** oxide layer scarcely scales off from the steel plates,and the effect is remarkable.

Insulin treatment has many cutaneous alterations and skin-related adverse effect,lipohypertrophy(LH)is the commonest among them.[1]LH has the definition with a tumor-like lump,visible and touchable,adipose tissue at the site of insulin injection.[2]It might result from the lipogenic effect of repeated insulin exposure.[3,4]Injecting insulin into the tissue with LH weakens insulin physiological function,and leads to a resulting excess glucose exposure,glycemic modifiability,and an increased risk of hypoglycemia.[5]Unfortunately,there is limited information about the pathophysiology of LH in insulin *** a result,reports of prevalence,clinical consequence,and pathogenesis are needed.

Background Studies on human immunodeficiency virus type 1 （HIV-1） vaccines have recently focused on targeting the conserved neutralizing epitopes 2F5 and 4E10, and hence it is important to understand the extent of mutations in these two viral epitopes. Here, we investigated the amino acid mutations in epitopes of 2F5 （ELDKWA, HIV-1 HXB2 env 662-667 aa） and 4E10 （NWFDIT, HIV-1 HXB2 env 671-676 aa） in the membrane proximal-external region of gp41 from clade B＇ HIV-1-infected individuals living in Henan province, China. We also examined the frequency of a mutation and its relation to disease *** A cohort of 54 treatment-na（i）ve HIV-1-infected individuals was recruited in this study, and 16 individuals were selected for a short-term longitudinal study on sequence evolution. The HIV-1 env gp41 gene was amplified, cloned, and sequenced, and predicted amino acid sequences were aligned for *** The mutations E662A and K665E on the 2F5 epitope and N671S and T676S on the 4E10 epitope were *** RNA sequencing showed some discrepancies with proviral DNA sequences. In our longitudinal study,mutation levels of these two neutralizing epitopes were low but diverse and persistent. The frequencies of mutations within the 4E10 peptide NWFDIT in slow progressors were noticeably lower than those in AIDS patients （P ＜0.05）.Conclusions Antigenic variation of the neutralizing epitopes 2F5 and 4E10 is limited in subtype B＇ infection, and that 4E10 peptide mutation is correlated with disease progression. Monitoring epitope mutations will offer useful data for development of the candidate 2F5-like and 4E10-like antibodies to prevent and treat AIDS.

Impact of urbanization on morbidity of hepatitis A:a national panel study in China during 2005–2018

Background The effect of urbanization on the morbidity of hepatitis A remains unclear. We aimed to estimate the association between various urbanization-related indices and hepatitis A morbidity in *** Data on the annual morbidity of hepatitis A, urbanization-related measures (i.e., gross domestic product per capita, the number of hospitalization beds per 1000 persons, illiteracy rate, tap water coverage, motor vehicles per 100 persons, population density, and the proportion of arable land), and meteorological factors in 31 provincial-level administrative divisions of Chinese mainland during 2005–2018 were collected from the National Population and Health Science Data Sharing Platform, China Statistical Yearbooks, and the China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System, respectively. Generalized linear mixed models were applied to quantify the impacts of different urbanization-related indices on the morbidity of hepatitis A in China after adjusting for *** A total of 537,466 hepatitis A cases were reported in China during 2005–2018. The annual morbidity had a decline of 79.4% from 5.64 cases to 1.16 cases per 100,000 people. There were obvious spatial variations with higher morbidity in western China. Nationally, gross domestic product per capita and the number of hospitalization beds per 1000 persons increased from 14,040 to 64,644 CNY and from 2.45 to 6.03 during 2005–2018, respectively. The illiteracy rate decreased from 11.0 to 4.9%. Gross domestic product per capita [relative risk (RR) = 0.96, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.92–0.99], and the number of hospitalization beds per 1000 persons (RR = 0.79, 95%CI: 0.75–0.83) were associated with the declined morbidity of hepatitis A. By contrast, the increased morbidity of hepatitis A was linked to the illiteracy rate (RR = 1.04, 95%CI: 1.02–1.06). The generation of various β-chiral sulfones bearing chiral cyclic sulfinamides through photoredox-catalyzed sulfur dioxide insertion with asymmetric radical cyclization is described. This method features a broad substrate scope and excellent stereospecificity. Computational studies reveal that the dispersion interaction between sulfinyl group and CH2SO2Ph group plays a crucial role in the stereoselectivity control.
