Background ELF4 deficiency has been recently recognized as a novel disorder within the spectrum of inborn errors of immunity(IEIs),specifically categorized as a“disease of immune dysregulation.”Cases of this condition,reported by our team and others,are very limited *** such,our current knowledge of this new disease remains *** review aims to provide a brief overview of the clinical manifestations,pathogenesis,and treatment strategies for this novel *** sources A comprehensive review was conducted after an extensive literature search in the PubMed/Medline database and websites concerning transcriptional factor ELF4 and reports concerning patients with ELF4 *** search strategy was“ELF4 OR ETS-related transcription factor Elf-4 OR EL4-like factor 4 OR myeloid Elf-1-like factor”as of the time of manuscript *** The current signature manifestations of ELF4 deficiency disorder are recurrent and prolonged oral ulcer,abdominal pain,and diarrhea in pediatric *** some cases,immunodeficiency and autoimmunity can also be *** Sanger sequencing or whole exome sequencing can be used to detect variation in ELF4 *** blotting for ELF4 expression of the patient’s cells can confirm the pathogenic effect of the *** fully confirm the pathogenicity of the variant,further functional test is strongly *** and biologics are the mainstream management of ELF4 deficiency *** Pediatric males presenting with recurring ulcerations in digestive tract epithelium with or without recurrent fever should be suspected of *** atypical presentations are prominent,variations in ELF4 gene should be carefully evaluated functionally due to the complex nature of ELF4 *** of treating DEX includes use of glucocorticoid and biologics and more precise treatment needs more patients to identify and further mechanistic study.

To investigate the relationship between grain sizes, seepage capacity, and oil-displacement efficiency in the Liushagang Formation of the Beibuwan Basin, this study identifies the multistage pore-throat structure as a crucial factor through a comparison of oil displacement in microscopic pore-throat experiments. The two-phase flow evaluation method based on the Li-Horne model is utilized to effectively characterize and quantify the seepage characteristics of different reservoirs, closely relating them to the distribution of microscopic pores and throats. It is observed that conglomerate sandstones at different stages exhibit significant heterogeneity and noticeable differences in seepage capacity, highlighting the crucial role played by certain large pore throats in determining seepage capacity and oil displacement efficiency. Furthermore, it was found that the displacement effects of conglomeratic sandstones with strong heterogeneity were inferior to those of conventional homogeneous sandstone, as evidenced by multiple displacement experiments conducted on core samples with varying granularities and flooding systems. Subsequently, core-based experiments on associated gas flooding after water flooding were conducted to address the challenge of achieving satisfactory results in a single displacement mode for reservoirs with significant heterogeneity. The results indicate that the oil recovery rates for associated gas flooding after water flooding increased by 7.3%-16.4% compared with water flooding alone at a gas-oil ratio of approximately 7000 m^(3)/m^(3). Therefore, considering the advantages of gas flooding in terms of seepage capacity, oil exchange ratio, and the potential for two-phase production, gas flooding is recommended as an energy supplement mode for homogeneous reservoirs in the presence of sufficient gas source and appropriate tectonic angle. Data augmentation is an important task of using existing data to expand data *** generative countermeasure network technology to realize data augmentation has the advantages of high-quality generated samples,simple training,and fewer restrictions on the number of generated ***,in the field of transmission line insulator images,the freely synthesized samples are prone to produce fuzzy backgrounds and disordered samples of the main insulator *** solve the above problems,this paper uses the cycle generative adversarial network(Cycle-GAN)used for domain conversion in the generation countermeasure network as the initial framework and uses the self-attention mechanism and channel attention mechanism to assist the conversion to realize the mutual conversion of different insulator *** attention module with prior knowledge is used to build the generation countermeasure network,and the generative adversarial network(GAN)model with local controllable generation is built to realize the directional generation of insulator belt defect *** experimental results show that the samples obtained by this method are improved in a number of quality indicators,and the quality effect of the samples obtained is excellent,which has a reference value for the data expansion of insulator images.

With the promotion of“dual carbon”strategy,data center(DC)access to high-penetration renewable energy sources(RESs)has become a trend in the ***,the uncertainty of RES poses challenges to the safe and stable operation of DCs and power *** this paper,a multi-timescale optimal scheduling model is established for interconnected data centers(IDCs)based on model predictive control(MPC),including day-ahead optimization,intraday rolling optimization,and intraday real-time *** day-ahead optimization stage aims at the lowest operating cost,the rolling optimization stage aims at the lowest intraday economic cost,and the real-time correction aims at the lowest power fluctuation,eliminating the impact of prediction errors through coordinated multi-timescale *** simulation results show that the economic loss is reduced by 19.6%,and the power fluctuation is decreased by 15.23%.

The heterogeneous variational nodal method(HVNM)has emerged as a potential approach for solving high-fidelity neutron transport ***,achieving accurate results with HVNM in large-scale problems using high-fidelity models has been challenging due to the prohibitive computational *** paper presents an efficient parallel algorithm tailored for HVNM based on the Message Passing Interface *** algorithm evenly distributes the response matrix sets among processors during the matrix formation process,thus enabling independent construction without *** the formation tasks are completed,a collective operation merges and shares the matrix sets among the *** the solution process,the problem domain is decomposed into subdomains assigned to specific processors,and the red-black Gauss-Seidel iteration is employed within each subdomain to solve the response matrix ***-to-point communication is conducted between adjacent subdomains to exchange data along the *** accuracy and efficiency of the parallel algorithm are verified using the KAIST and JRR-3 test *** results obtained with multiple processors agree well with those obtained from Monte Carlo *** parallelization of HVNM results in eigenvalue errors of 31 pcm/-90 pcm and fission rate RMS errors of 1.22%/0.66%,respectively,for the 3D KAIST problem and the 3D JRR-3 *** addition,the parallel algorithm significantly reduces computation time,with an efficiency of 68.51% using 36 processors in the KAIST problem and 77.14% using 144 processors in the JRR-3 problem.

Distortion-aware beamforming design for multi-beam satellite communications with nonlinear power amplifiers

Hardware components can cause different impairments, including power amplifier(PA) nonlinearities, which inevitably impact the system performance of satellite communications(SATCOM). In this work, we consider a multi-beam SATCOM downlink system and investigate the distortion-aware beamforming scheme with the characteristics of PA non-linearities. Notably, we aim to maximize the resource efficiency(RE), defined as the weighted sum of energy efficiency(EE) with spectral efficiency(SE), to obtain a flexible EE-SE tradeoff while accounting for the characteristics of PA distortion and the total power *** that the optimization objective is a sum of ratios and the high non-convexity involved in constraints,we propose an efficient approach that exploits the quadratic transformation, the Lagrange multiplier method,and the gradient ascent approach to handle this issue. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the distortion-aware beamforming approach in achieving the EE-SE tradeoff and exhibit a substantial RE performance gain over the conventional approach with ideal linear PAs assumed at the satellite transmitters.
