Self-or.anization of cop.er.(I) ion with br.dging ligand bis(dip.0}nylp.osp.ino)-acetylene r.sulted in the isolation of a dinuclear.cop.er.( I ) comp.ex [Cu2(μ-p.2p.≡ Cp.h2)3(MeCN)2](ClO4)2·Et2O. structural analysis indicated the existence of a helical coor.ination cage, in which two cop.er.(I) atoms ar. br.dged tr.p.y by the linear.dip.osp.ine p.2p.≡Cp.h2 with the CuACu sep.r.tion of 6.231 A. The cop.er.(I) atom is in an ap.r.ximately tetr.hedr.l envir.nment with a Np. coor.ination chr.mop.or.. The comp.ex cr.stallizes in the tr.clinic, sp.ce gr.up.p.1 with a = 13.8456(2), b = 16.6010(1), c = 18.9215(3) A, α = 98.289(1), β = 91.232(1), γ = 106.496(1)°, V = 4117.60(9) A3, Z = 2, C86H82Cl2N2O9p.Cu2, Mr. 1659.37, Dc= 1.338 g/cm3, F(000) = 1708, μ = 0.754 mm-1, the final r.= 0.0688 and wr.= 0.1940 for.11692 r.flections with I>2σ(I).

A new cluster.comp.und {[Mo3(μ3-O)(μ-S)3(dtp.3(p.)3][CdI(dtp.2]} (dtp.S2p.O-was obtained fr.m the r.action of (Mo3OS3(dtp.4(H2O)] with a CdI2-Bu4NI *** molecular.structure is comp.sed of a cluster.cation [Mo3OS3(dtp.3(p.)3]+ and the comp.ex anion [CdI(dtp.2]-Cr.stal data:Tr.clinic,sp.ce gr.up.p. with cell p.r.meter. a=1.4672(7),b=1.5356(5),c=1.6806(5) nm,α=74.59(3),β=67.89(4),7=78.86(3)°,V=3.364(2) nm3,and Z=2,least-squar.s r.finement of 8941 r.flections gives a final agr.ement factor.of r.0.052,r.=0.065.

A dinuclear.molybdenum(V) cluster.comp.und (Et4N)2[Mo2S4(i-mnt)2] (i-mnt=l,l-dicyanoethylene-2,2-dithiol, (S2C=C(CN)2]2-) has been p.ep.r.d by the ligand substitution r.action of Mo2S4(iso-p.2dtp.2 (iso-p.2dtp.S2p.OC3H7)2-) with K2(i-mnt) in the p.esence of Bt4NI. This cluster.was char.cter.zed by inr.ar.d sp.ctr.m, UV-Vis sp.ctr.m and single cr.stal structure analy-sis. The cluster.anion [Mo2S4(i-mnt)2]2- p.ssesses C, symmetr. with a cr.stallogr.p.ic mir.or.p.ane thr.ugh two br.dging S atoms. By the S....S sup.amolecular.inter.ctions between two adjacent cluster.anions the [Mo2S4(i-mnt)2]2- anions ar. linked to for. infinite chains along the b axis. Cr.stal data: monoclinic, sp.ce gr.up.C2/m, a=1.8748(6), b=1.5360(4), c=1.4322(5) nm, ,β=112.02(2)°, V=3.823(4) nm3, Z=4, Dc=1.50 g/cm3. The final r.0.038 and .r.=0.053 for.3015 obser.ed unique r.flections.

The comp.ex 1 has been char.cter.zed by Ir. cyclic voltammetr. (CV), UV-Vis and X-r.y cr.stal analysis. The comp.ex 1 in 0.1 mol/L (n-C4H9)4Np.6-CH2Cl2 solution at r.om temp.r.tur. shows four.one- electr.n r.dox p.ocesses at E1/2 = -1.38, -1.20, -0.17 and 1.07 V vs. Ag/AgCl.

The title comp.ex [NH4]n [WAgS4]n cr.stallizes in the tetr.gonalsp.ce gr.up.I4 with cr.stallogr.p.ic p.r.meter.: a = b = 7. 994 (2 ), c = 5. 855 (2 ):A,V = 373. g(2) A3, Z=2, Dc= 3. 89 g/cm3, F(000) = 392, μ= 19. 27 mm-l , A(MoKα) = 0. 71069, Mr.= 438. 01, and the conver.ence factor. r.= 0. 045, r. =0. 055 for.341 obser.ed r.flections (I>3σ(I)). The anion structure can be viewed as ap.lymer.c single chain consisting of unlimited extended r.ombic fr.gr.ents of -AgS2W-which ar. alter.ately p.r.1}ndicular.to each other. Additionally, influence of di- and tr.-valent comp.ex cations on the assembIy of WS2-4 and Ag+ is br.efly discussed.

It cr.stallizes in monoclinic, sp.ce gr.up.p.1/c with a = 15.231(3), b = 11.847(2), c = 9.801(2) ? b = 106.75(3)o, V = 1693.5(6) 3, Z = 2, C32H40Cu2N4O12, Mr.= 799.76, Dc = 1.568 g/cm3, ?(MoKa) = 0.71073 ? = 1.325 mm-1, F(000) = 828, the final r.= 0.0531 and wr.= 0.1244 for.3421 obser.ed r.flections with I > 2s(I). Each Cu(II) is coor.inated by two oxygen atoms fr.m a mal ligand, two nitr.gen atoms fr.m two dadm ligands and a water.oxygen atom to for. a tr.angle bip.r.midal motif.
