Revealing the vertical structure of in-situ fabricated perovskite nanocrystals films toward efficient pure red light-emitting diodes

The development of efficient perovskite light-emitting diodes(PeLEDs)relies strongly on the fabrication of perovskite films with rationally designed structures(grain size,composition,surface,etc.).Therefore,an understanding of structure-performance relationships is of vital importance for developing high-performance perovskite devices,particularly for devices with in-situ fabricated perovskite nanocrystal *** this study,we reveal the vertical structure of an in-situ fabricated quasi-two-dimensional perovskite *** combining time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry,energy dispersive spectroscopy,grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(GIWAXS),and low-temperature photoluminescence spectra,we illustrate that the resulting in-situ fabricated DPPA_(2)Cs_(n-1)Pb_(n)(Br_(0.3)I_(0.7))_(3n+1)(DPPA^(+):3,3-diphenylpropylammonium)film has a gradient structure with a very thin layer of ligands on the surface,predominantly small-n domains at the top,and predominantly large-n domains at the bottom owing to the solubility difference of the *** addition,GIWAXS measurements show that the domain of n=2 on the top layer has an ordered in-plane *** on the understanding of the film structure,we developed an in-situ fabrication process with ligand exchange to achieve efficient pure red PeLEDs at 638 nm with an average external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 7.4%.The optimized device had a maximum luminance of 623 cd/m^(2) with a peak EQE of 9.7%.

High-purity germanium(HPGe)detectors,which are used for direct dark matter detection,have the advantages of a low threshold and excellent energy *** surface passivation of HPGe has become crucial for achieving an extremely low energy *** this study,first-principles simulations,passivation film preparation,and metal oxide semiconductor(MOS)capacitor characterization were combined to study surface *** calculations of the energy band structure of the -H,-OH,and -NH_(2) passivation groups on the surface of Ge were performed,and the interface state density and potential with five different passivation groups with N/O atomic ratios were accurately analyzed to obtain a stable surface *** on the theoretical calculation results,the surface passivation layers of the Ge_(2)ON_(2) film were prepared via magnetron sputtering in accordance with the optimum atomic ratio *** microstructure,C-V,and I-V electrical properties of the layers,and the passivation effect of the Al/Ge_(2)ON_(2)/Ge MOS were characterized to test the interface state *** mean interface state density obtained by the Terman method was 8.4×10^(11) cm^(-2) eV^(-1).The processing of germanium oxynitrogen passivation films is expected to be used in direct dark matter detection of the HPGe detector surface passivation technology to reduce the detector leakage currents.

The solar flare is one of the most violent explosions,and can disturb the near-Earth space *** for commonly single-peaked solar flares in soft X-ray,some special flares show intriguing a two-peak feature that is deserved much more ***,we reported a confined two-peaked solar flare and analyzed the associated eruptions using high-quality observations from Educational Adaptive-optics Solar Telescope and Solar Dynamics *** the flare,a magnetic flux rope(MFR)formed through partially tether-cutting reconnection between two sheared *** flare occurred after the MFR eruption that was confined by the overlying strong ***,a small underlying filament immediately erupted,which was possibly destabilized by the flare *** successive eruptions were confirmed by the analysis of the emission measure and the reconnection ***,we suggest that the two peaks of the confined solar flare are corresponding to two episodes of magnetic reconnection during the successive eruptions of the MFR and the underlying filament.

Preoperatively predicting vessels encapsulating tumor clusters in hepatocellular carcinoma:Machine learning model based on contrast-enhanced computed tomography

Effect of lens surgery on health-related quality of life in preschool children with congenital ectopia lentis

AIM:To evaluate the effect of lens surgery on health-related quality of life(HRQoL)of preschool children with congenital ectopia lentis(CEL).METHODS:A prospective self-controlled study was conducted in zhongshan Ophthalmic *** aged from 5 to 7y whom were diagnosed with CEL and underwent phacoemulsification with scleral-fixated posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation and their parents were enrolled in this *** of them completed the child and proxy(parental)PedsQL™4.0 before and after the *** preoperative scores were compared to their postoperative *** analyses were performed based on gender and preoperative bilateral presenting visual acuity of the ***:Thirty-two children with CEL successfully underwent surgery without any complications,among whom 8 had monocular surgery and 24 had binocular *** and postoperative questionnaires were completed by 32 child-parent *** intervention could significantly improve the vision of affected children(P<0.001).The medians of physical,psychosocial and total health scores self-reported by the children were 68.75(62.50,81.25),65.00(60.00,80.00)and 67.39(60.87,78.26)preoperatively and were 93.75(87.50,100.00),90.00(83.33,96.67)and 89.13(85.32,95.65)*** preoperative scores of the affected children were significantly lower in all scales than age-matched healthy children(P<0.001).All the postoperative scores were significantly higher than the preoperative scores in affected children and their parents(P<0.001).In the physical functioning evaluation,the preoperative score reported by parents of girls was higher than parents of boys(P=0.041),and the postoperative score of girls was higher than that of boys(P=0.036).CONCLUSION:CEL is associated with significantly worse quality of life in preschool *** intervention can significantly improve the HRQoL in affected children from both personal and family perspective.

Structural engineering of hard carbon through spark plasma sintering for enhanced sodium-ion storage

Hard carbon(HC)has emerged as one of the superior anode materials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),with its electrochemical performance significantly influenced by the presence of oxygen functional groups and its closed pore ***,current research on the structural adjustment of these oxygen functional groups and the closed pore architecture within HC remains ***,energy-efficient and contamination-free spark plasma sintering technology was employed to tune the structure of coconut-shell HC,resulting in significant adjustments to the content of carboxyl(decreasing from 5.71 at%to 2.12 at%)and hydroxyl groups(decreasing from 7.73 at%to 6.26 at%).Crucially,these modifications reduced the irreversible reaction of oxygen functional groups with Na^(+).Simultaneously,a substantial number of closed pores with an average diameter of 1.22 nm were generated within the HC,offering an ideal environment for efficient Na^(+)*** structural changes resulted in a remarkable improvement in the electrochemical performance of the modified *** reversible specific capacity of the modified HC surged from 73.89 mAh·g^(-1)to an impressive 251.97 m Ah·g^(-1)at a current density of 50 mA·g^(-1).Even at 400 mA·g^(-1),the reversible specific capacity increased significantly from 14.55 to 85.44 mAh·g^(-1).Hence,this study provides a novel perspective for designing tailored HC materials with the potential to develop high-performance SIBs.

Interfacial assembly of 2D polydopamine/graphene heterostructures with well-defined mesopore and tunable thickness for high-energy planar micro-supercapacitors

Two-dimensional(2D)mesoporous pseudocapacitive polymer/graphene heterostructures combine the advanced merits of 2D materials and mesoporous materials,possessing unique nanosheet structure,large specific surface area(SSA),abundant oxygen/nitrogen-containing groups,desirable electrical conductivity and admirable electrochemical redox activity,and hold great potential for constructing high-performance planar micro-supercapacitors(MSCs).Herein,we demonstrate the interfacial assembly of 2D mesoporous polydopamine/graphene(mPDG)heterostructures with well-defined mesopore structure(12 nm)and adjustable thickness(7.5–14.1 nm)for planar high-energy pseudocapacitive *** to medium thickness,exposed mesopore of 12 nm and large SSA of 108 m^(2)/g,the m PDG with 10.8 nm thickness reveals prominent mass capacitance of 419 F/g and impressive cycling stability with~96%capacitance retention after 5000 ***,the symmetric mPDG-based MSCs with“water-in-salt”gel electrolyte present wide voltage window of 1.6 V,superior volumetric energy density of 11.5 mWh/cm^(3),outstanding flexibility and self-integration ***,this work offers a new platform of controllably synthesizing 2D mesoporous heterostructures for high-performance MSCs.

Acousto-optic(AO)modulation technology holds significant promise for applications in microwave and optical signal ***-film scandium-doped aluminum nitride(AlScN),with excellent piezoelectric properties and a wide transparency window,is a promising candidate for achieving on-chip AO modulation with a fabri-cation process compatible with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)*** study presents,to the best of our knowledge,the first demonstration of AO modulators with surface acoustic wave generation and photonic waveguides monolithically integrated on a 400-nm-thick film of AlScN on an *** intramodal AO modulation is realized based on an AlScN straight waveguide,and the modulation efficiency is significantly enhanced by 12.3 dB through the extension of the AO interaction length and the utilization of bidirectional acoustic *** intermodal AO modulation and non-reciprocity are further demonstrated based on a multi-mode spiral waveguide,achieving a high non-reciprocal contrast(>10 dB)across an optical bandwidth of 0.48 *** research marks a significant stride forward,representing an advancement in the realization of microwave photonic filters,magnet-free isolators,and circulators based on the thin-film AlScN photonic platform.

Analysis of debris flow control effect and hazard assessment in Xinqiao Gully,Wenchuan M_(s)8.0 earthquake area based on numerical simulation

Xinqiao Gully is located in the area of the 2008 Wenchuan M_(s)8.0 earthquake in Sichuan province,*** on the investigation of the 2023"6-26"Xinqiao Gully debris flow event,this study assessed the effectiveness of the debris flow control project and evaluated the debris flow *** field investigation and numerical simulation methods,the indicators of flow intensity reduction rate and storage capacity fullness were proposed to quantify the effectiveness of the engineering measures in the debris flow *** simulation results show that the debris flow control project reduced the flow intensity by41.05%to 64.61%.The storage capacity of the dam decreases gradually from upstream to the mouth of the gully,thus effectively intercepting and controlling the debris *** evaluating the debris flow of different recurrence intervals,further measures are recommended for managing debris flow events.

Weatherability and heat resistance enhanced by interaction between AG25 and Mg/AI-LDH

Although inorganic pigments in common spectral tuning materials show good weatherability and heat resistance,the limited color choices,weak coloring power,poor dispersibility,and a possibility of toxicity limit their *** the basis of organic pigments which possess a wide range of colors,high coloring power,good transparency,and high safety,herein,the modified pigment and biomimetic coating with improved weatherability,especially ultraviolet(UV)resistance(from 2 to 6 days),was achieved by intercalating acid green 25(AG25)pigment into Mg/Al-layered double hydroxides(Mg/Al-LDH).Furthermore,the heat resistance of AG25 was also significantly ***,the spectral stability of pigments after heat treatment is superior with almost unchanged spectral profile and green reflection *** formation of strong N-H bonds and the S-M(Mg,Al)bonds between Mg/Al-LDH laminates and AG25 molecules contributes to the *** work shows potential for biomimetic leaf materials in respect of reflective spectra stability.
