This study purposes an in situ testing method on quality assessment of soil *** drilling data includes the spatial distribution and in situ strength of untreated and treated soil along three different drillholes measured by on-site drilling monitoring *** factual drilling data can characterize the degree of soil improvement by penetration injection with permeable *** from on-site drilling monitoring shows that the linear zones represent constant drilling speeds shown in the plot of drill bit advancement *** drilling time,which indicates the spatial distributions of soil *** soil profile at the study site is composed of four layers,which includes fill,untreated silty clay,treated silty clay,and mucky *** results of soil profile are verified by the parallel site *** constant drilling speeds profile the coring-resistant strength of drilled *** comparing with the untreated silty clay,the constant drilling speeds of the treated silty clay have been decreased by 13.0-62.8%.Two drilling-speed-based indices of 61.2%and 65.6%are proposed to assess the decreased average drilling speed and the increased in situ strength of treated silty *** tests,*** compressive strength(UcS)test,have been performed with core sample to investigate and characterize in situ strength by comparing that with drilling *** show that the average predicted strengths of treated silty clay are 2.4-6.9 times higher than the average measured strength of untreated silty *** UcS-based indices of 374.5%and 344.2%verified the quality assessment(QA)results by this new in situ *** method provides a cost-effective tool for quality assessment of soil improvement by utilizing the digital drilling data.

AIM:To investigate the effects of exogenous testosterone treatment on the choroidal parameters in patients with androgen ***:Right eyes of 24 patients with androgen deficiency and 31 healthy volunteers were included in the *** eyes were scanned for subfoveal choroidal thickness(SFcT),choroidal vascularity index(cVI),choroidstromal area(c-SA),choroid-luminal area(c-LA),choroidstromal to luminal area ratio(cSLR),and the choroidal parameters within central 1500μm of the macula(cVI1500,c-LA1500,c-SA1500,and cSLR1500)by enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OcT)at baseline,6th and 18th weeks of the exogenous testosterone ***:The mean SFcT values of the androgen deficient groups and healthy controls were 307.7±27.0 and 303.2±37.2μm(P=0.8).However,cVI,c-SA,cSLR,cVI1500,c-LA1500,and cSLR1500 were significantly different between the groups(all Pxogenous testosterone treatment,SFcT,cVI,c-LA,and c-SA were significantly decreased,and these parameters returned to baseline levels at the 18th-week visit(all P>0.05).However,cVI1500 and LA1500 significantly increased at the end of the follow-up period(PcONcLUSION:cVI is lower in androgen-deficient patients than in healthy *** alterations in the choroid during the testosterone peak are transient in the treatment of patients with androgen ***,the increase in cVI within the central 1500μm of the macula persists even after 4mo.

As a prevailing cathode material of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),LicoO_(2)(LcO)still encounters the tricky problems of structural collapse,whose morphological engineering and cation doping are crucial for surmounting the mechanical strains and alleviating phase degradation upon ***,we propose a strategy using a zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)as the self-sacrificing template to directionally prepare a series of LiNi_(0.1)co_(0.9)O_(2)(LNcO)with tailorable electrochemical *** rational selection of sintering temperature imparts the superiority of the resultant products in lithium storage,during which the sample prepared at 700℃(LNcO-700)outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(156.8 mA h g^(-1)at 1 c for 200 cycles in half cells,1 c=275 mA g^(-1))and rate capability due to the expedited ion/electron transport and the strengthen mechanical *** feasibility of proper Ni doping is also divulged by half/full cell tests and theoretical study,during which LNcO-700(167 mA h g^(-1)at 1 c for 100 cycles in full cells)surpasses LcO-700 in battery performance due to the mitigated phase deterioration,stabilized layered structu re,ameliorated electro nic co nductivity,a nd exalted lithium sto rage *** work systematically unveils tailorable electrochemical behaviors of LNcO to better direct their practical application.

In this study,we present a supramolecular templating approach for constructing polyimidazolium salt containing crown ether and cyclobutane *** strategy involves the formation of metal-carbene templates,photochemical cycloaddition,and subsequent demetallation of metal *** by the host-guest chemistry between crown ether units and ammonium salts,we successfully fabricated a supramolecular polymer SPN1,which features imidazolium receptors and cyclobutane *** obtained SPN1 demonstrates outstanding reversible stimulus-response,antibacterial behavior and conductivity.

Accurate genomic information is essential for advancing genetic breeding research in specific rice *** study presented a gapless genome assembly of the indica rice cultivar Zhonghui 8015(ZH8015)using Pac Bio HiFi,Hi-c,and ONT(Oxford Nanopore Technologies)ultra-long sequencing technologies,annotating 43037 gene ***,utilizing this genome along with transcriptomic and metabolomic techniques,we explored ZH8015's response to brown planthopper(BPH)*** transcriptomic sampling indicated significant changes in gene expression levels around 48 h after BPH *** analysis revealed particularly significant alterations in genes related to reactive oxygen species scavenging and cell wall *** results demonstrated marked increases in levels of several monosaccharides,which are components of the cell wall and dramatic changes in flavonoid *** association analysis identified differentially expressed genes associated with key metabolites,shedding light on ZH8015's response to BPH *** summary,this study constructed a reliable genome sequence resource for ZH8015,and the preliminary multi-omics results will guide future insect-resistant breeding research.

Titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))hollow nanoparticles present significant potential for photocatalytic applications while their straightforward preparation with precise structure control is still *** work reports the approach to preparing tunable hollow TiO_(2) nanospheres by utilization of spherical polyelectrolyte brushes(SPB)as nanoreactors and *** the preparation,the evolution of the structure was characterized by small angle x-ray scattering(SAxS),and in combination with dynamic light scattering and transmission electron *** formation of TiO_(2) shell within the brush(SPB@TiO_(2))is confirmed by the significant increase of the electron density,and its internal structure has been analyzed by fitting SAxS data,which can be influenced by Titanium precursors and ammonia *** calcining SPB@TiO_(2) in a muffle furnace,hollow TiO_(2) nanospheres are produced,and their transition to the anatase crystal form is triggered,as confirmed by x-ray diffraction *** the advantages of their hollow structure,these TiO_(2) nanospheres exhibit exceptional catalytic degradation efficiency of methylene blue(MB),tetracycline(Tc),and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D),and also demonstrate excellent recyclability.
