Re-delocalization of localized d-electrons in VO_(2)(R)-VS_(4)hetero-structure enables high performance of rechargeable Mg-ion batteries

Rechargeable Mg-ion batteries(MIBs)have attracted much more attentions by virtue of the high capacity from the two electrons ***,the reversible Mg^(2+)diffusion in cathode materials is restricted by the strong interactions between the high-polarized bivalent Mg^(2+)ions and anionic ***,we design and propose a hetero-structural VO_(2)(R)-VS_(4)cathode,in which the re-delocalized d-electrons can effectively shield the polarity of Mg^(2+)***,the electrons should spontaneously transfer from VS_(4)to VO_(2)(R)through the interfaces of hetero-structure due to the lower work function value of VS_(4).Furthermore,the internal electrons transfer lead to the electronic injection into VO_(2)(R)from VS_(4)and the partially broken V-V dimers,indicating the presence of lone pair electrons and charge *** from the shield effect of re-delocalized electrons,and the weakened attraction between cations and O/S anions enables more S^(2-)-S_(2)^(2-)redox groups to participate the electrochemical reactions and compensate the double charge of Mg^(2+)***,VO_(2)(R)-VS_(4)hetero-structure exhibits a high specific capacity of 554 mA h g^(-1)at 50 mA g^(-1).It is believed that the charge re-delocalization of cathode extremely boost the Mg^(2+)ions migration for the high-capacity of MIBs.

The development of 3d spiral microfluidics has opened new avenues for leveraging inertial focusing to analyze small fluid volumes,thereby advancing research across chemical,physical,and biological *** traditional straight microchannels rely solely on inertial lift forces,the novel spiral geometry generates dean drag forces,eliminating the necessity for external fields in fluid ***,fabricating 3d spiral microfluidics remains a labor-intensive and costly endeavor,hindering its widespread ***,conventional lithographic methods primarily yield 2d planar devices,thereby limiting the selection of materials and geometrical *** address these challenges,this work introduces a streamlined fabrication method for 3d spiral microfluidic devices,employing rotational force within a miniaturized thermal drawing process,termed as *** innovation allows for rapid prototyping of twisted fiber-based microfluidics featuring versatility in material selection and heightened geometric *** validate the performance of these devices,we combined computational modeling with microtomographic particle image velocimetry(uTPiM)to comprehensively characterize the 3d flow *** results corroborate the presence of a steady secondary flow,underscoring the effectiveness of our *** 3d spiral microfluidics platform paves the way for exploring intricate microflow dynamics,with promising applications in areas such as drug delivery,diagnostics,and lab-on-a-chip systems.

The engineering of microbial cell factories for the production of high-value chemicals from renewable resources presents several challenges, including the optimization of key enzymes, pathway fluxes and metabolic networks. Addressing these challenges involves the development of synthetic auxotrophs, a strategy that links cell growth with enzyme properties or biosynthetic pathways. This linkage allows for the improvement of enzyme properties by in vivo directed enzyme evolution, the enhancement of metabolic pathway fluxes under growth pressure, and remodeling of metabolic networks through directed strain evolution. The advantage of employing synthetic auxotrophs lies in the power of growth-coupled selection, which is not only high-throughput but also labor-saving, greatly simplifying the development of both strains and enzymes. Synthetic auxotrophs play a pivotal role in advancing microbial cell factories, offering benefits from enzyme optimization to the manipulation of metabolic networks within single microbes. Furthermore, this strategy extends to coculture systems, enabling collaboration within microbial communities. This review highlights the recently developed applications of synthetic auxotrophs as microbial cell factories, and discusses future perspectives, aiming to provide a practical guide for growth-coupled models to produce value-added chemicals as part of a sustainable biorefinery.

In the face of the effective popularity of the Internet of Things(IoT),but the frequent occurrence of cybersecurity incidents,various cybersecurity protection means have been proposed and *** them,Intrusion detection System(IdS)has been proven to be stable and ***,traditional intrusion detection methods have shortcomings such as lowdetection accuracy and inability to effectively identifymalicious *** address the above problems,this paper fully considers the superiority of deep learning models in processing highdimensional data,and reasonable data type conversion methods can extract deep features and detect classification using advanced computer vision techniques to improve classification *** TransformField(MTF)method is used to convert 1dnetwork traffic data into 2d images,and then the converted 2d images are filtered by UnsharpMasking to enhance the image details by sharpening;to further improve the accuracy of data classification and detection,unlike using the existing high-performance baseline image classification models,a soft-voting integrated model,which integrates three deep learning models,MobileNet,VGGNet and ResNet,to finally obtain an effective IoT intrusion detection architecture:the MUS *** types of experiments are conducted on the publicly available intrusion detection dataset CICIdS2018 and the IoT network traffic dataset N_BaIoT,and the results demonstrate that the accuracy of attack traffic detection is greatly improved,which is not only applicable to the IoT intrusion detection environment,but also to different types of attacks and different network environments,which confirms the effectiveness of the work done.

Code recommendation systems have been widely used in helping developers implement unfamiliar programming *** existing code recommenders or code search engines can retrieve relevant code rapidly with high accuracy,however,they cannot recommend any code outside similar *** propose an approach to predict the functionality of incomplete programming code by using syntactical information,and providing a list of potential functionalities to guess what the developers want,in order to increase the diversity of *** this paper,we propose a deep learning model called ASTSdL,which uses a sequencebased representation of source code to predict *** extract syntactical information from the abstract syntax tree(AST) of the source code,apply a deep learning model to capture the syntactic and sequential information,and predict the functionality of the source code *** experimental results demonstrate that ASTSdL can effectively predict the functionality of incomplete code with an accuracy above 84% in the top-10 list,even if there is only half of the complete code.

According to the design specifications,the construction of extended piles involves traversing the tunnel’s upper region and extending to the underlying rock *** address this challenge,a subterranean transfer structure spanning multiple subway tunnels was *** on the function of piles in the transfer structure as springs with axial and bending stiffness,and taking into account the force balance and deformation coordination conditions of beams and plates within the transfer structure,we established a simplified mechanical model that incorporates soil stratification by combining it with the Winkler elastic foundation beam *** resolved established simplifiedmechanicalmodel employed finite difference technology and the Newton-Simpsonmethod,elucidating the mechanical mechanism of the transfer *** research findings suggest that the load carried by the upper structural columns can be transferred to the pile foundation beneath the beams through the transfer structure,subsequently reaching the deep soil layer and ensuring minimal impact on adjacent *** established simplified analysis method can be used for stress analysis of the transfer structure,concurrently considering soil stratification,pile foundation behavior,and plate *** pile length,pile section size,and beam section size within the transfer structure should account for the characteristics of the upper load,ensuring an even distribution of the beam bending moment.

Complex field imaging,which captures both the amplitude and phase information of input optical fields or objects,can offer rich structural insights into samples,such as their absorption and refractive index ***,conventional image sensors are intensity-based and inherently lack the capability to directly measure the phase distribution of a *** limitation can be overcome using interferometric or holographic methods,often supplemented by iterative phase retrieval algorithms,leading to a considerable increase in hardware complexity and computational ***,we present a complex field imager design that enables snapshot imaging of both the amplitude and quantitative phase information of input fields using an intensity-based sensor array without any digital *** design utilizes successive deep learning-optimized diffractive surfaces that are structured to collectively modulate the input complex field,forming two independent imaging channels that perform amplitude-to-amplitude and phase-to-intensity transformations between the input and output planes within a compact optical design,axially spanning~100 *** intensity distributions of the output fields at these two channels on the sensor plane directly correspond to the amplitude and quantitative phase profiles of the input complex field,eliminating the need for any digital image reconstruction *** experimentally validated the efficacy of our complex field diffractive imager designs through 3d-printed prototypes operating at the terahertz spectrum,with the output amplitude and phase channel images closely aligning with our numerical *** envision that this complex field imager will have various applications in security,biomedical imaging,sensing and material science,among others.

This study aims to analysis the influence of economic growth(EG) and energy consumption(EC) on sulfur dioxide emissions(SE) in China. Accordingly, this study explores the link between EG, EC, and SE for 30 provinces in China over the span of 2000-2019. This study also analyzes cross-sectional dependence tests, panel unit root tests, Westerlund panel cointegration tests, dumitrescu-Hurlin(d-H) causality tests. According to the test results, there is an inverted U-shaped association between EG and SE,and the assumption of the Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC) is verified. The signs of EG and EC in the fixed effect(FE) and random effect(RE) methods are in line with those in the dynamic ordinary least squares(dOLS), fully modified ordinary least squares(FMOLS) and autoregressive distributed lag(ARdL)estimators. Moreover, the results verified that EC can obviously positive impact the SE. To reduce SE in China, government and policymakers can improve air quality by developing cleaner energy sources and improving energy efficiency. This requires the comprehensive use of policies, regulations, economic incentives, and public participation to promote sustainable development.
