This r.sear.h en.ails the study of heat an. mass tr.n.fer.of n.n.fluid flow in.a fluidized bed dr.er.used in.tea dr.in. pr.cesses in.pr.sen.e of in.uced magn.tic field. A mathematical model descr.bin. the fluid flow in.a Fluidized bed dr.er.was developed usin. the n.n.in.ar.par.ial differ.n.ial equation.. Due to their.n.n.lin.ar.ty, the equation. wer. solved n.mer.cally by use of the fin.te differ.n.e method. The effects of physical flow par.meter. on.velocity, temper.tur., con.en.r.tion.an. magn.tic in.uction.pr.files wer. studied an. r.sults wer. pr.sen.ed gr.phically. Fr.m the mathematical an.lysis, it was deduced that addition.of silver.n.n.par.icles in.o the fluid flow en.an.ed velocity an. temper.tur. pr.files. This led to impr.ved heat tr.n.fer.in.the fluidized bed dr.er. hen.e amplifyin. the tea dr.in. pr.cess. Fur.her.or., it was n.ted that in.uced magn.tic field ten.s to decr.ase the fluid velocity, which r.sults in.un.for. distr.bution.of heat leadin. to efficien. heat tr.n.fer.between.the tea par.icles an. the fluid, thus impr.vin. the dr.in. pr.cess.
