In numerical weather prediction(NWP),the parameterization of orographic drag plays an important role in representing subgrid orographic *** subgrid orographic parameters are the key input to the parameterization of orographic ***,the subgrid orographic parameters in most NWP models were produced based on elevation datasets generated many years ago,with a coarse resolution and low *** this paper,using the latest high-quality elevation data and considering the applicable scale range of the subgrid orographic parameters,we construct the orographic parameters,including the subgrid orographic standard deviation,anisotropy,orientation,and slope,that are required as input to the orographic gravity wave drag(OGWD)***,we introduce the newly constructed orographic parameters into the Yin-He Global Spectral Model(YHGSM),optimize the description of the orographic effect in the model,and improve the simulation of two typical heavy rainfall events in beijing and Henan.

The IP packet forwarding of current Internet is mainly destination based. In the forwarding process, the source IP address is not checked in most *** causes serious security, management and accounting problems. Based on the drastically increased IPv6 address space, a ＂source address validation architecture＂（SAVA） is proposed in this paper, which can guarantee that every packet received and forwarded holds an authenticated source IP address. The design goals of the architecture are lightweight, loose coupling, ＂multi-fence support＂ and incremental deployment. This paper discusses the design and implementation for the architecture, including inter-AS, intra-AS and local subnet. The performance and scalability of SAVA are described. This architecture is deployed into the CNGI-CERNET2.infrastructure a large-scale native IPv6 backbone network of the china Next Generation Internet project. We believe that the SAVA will help the transition to a new, more secure and dependable Internet.

Internet has become the most important information infrastructure supporting modern socio-economic development, social progress and technological Innovation. Invented 30 years ago, today Internet is facing increasingly severe technical challenges. This paper introduces the progress of the major international newgeneration Internet research plans; analyzes its basic characteristics and the principal contradictions during the development; detsiledly introduces the research carried out by 973 Project ＂Research of Future Internet Architecture＂ on the key scientific issues of new-generation Internet architecture and its latest research results; and looks to the future of the research-focus faced with the new situations of the basic research of new-generation Internet architecture as well as the new demands of innovative applications on Internet architecture.

Reputation systems represent soft security mechanisms that complement traditional information security mechanisms. They are now widely used in online e-commerce markets and communities in order to stimulate good behaviors as well as to restrain adverse behaviors. This paper analyzes the limitations of the conversational reputation models and proposes an incentive reputation model called the resilient reputation model （RRM） for the distributed reputation systems. The objective of this reputation model is not only to encourage the users to provide good services and, therefore, to maximize the probability of good transaction outcomes, but also to punish those adverse users who are trying to manipulate the application systems. The simulation results indicate that the proposed reputation model （RRM） could effectively resist against the common adverse behaviors, while protecting the profits of sincere users from being blemished by those adversaries.

Osteoporosis is the most common bone disorder,characterized by low bone mineral density and microarchitectural deterioration of the bone tissue,which increases the susceptibility to *** the past decade,emerging research findings reported the implication of gut microbiota on bone health and osteoporosis *** patients or individuals with a lower bone mineral density exhibit an alteration of the gut microbiota at several taxonomic *** reports demonstrate that gut microbiota regulates bone metabolism through the modulation of the gut function(mineral availability and absorption,gut integrity),the immune system,and the endocrine ***,based on the vital role of gut microbiota on bone health,it has emerged as a novel therapeutic target for the prevention of bone loss and the treatment of ***-based functional food ingredients,such as probiotics,prebiotics,synbiotics,and fermented foods,have been developed to alter the gut microbiota composition and function and thus,to provide benefits to the host bone *** promising initial results,microbial-based therapies are still under ***,additional animal studies and clinical trials are needed to understand the interactions between gut microbiota and bone metabolism before further applications.

Dry-fermented sausages are a good source of bioactive peptides,whose stability against gastrointestinal(GI)digestion determines their *** study focused on evaluating the effect of peptide extracts from sausages fermented with Staphylococcus simulans QB7 during in vitro simulated GI digestion,including peptide profiles and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory *** present in sausages were degraded during digestion,with molecular weight reduced from>12.kDa to381.15 to 52..07 mg/g,especially tyrosine being found only after GI *** anti-inflammatory activities were increased after GI digestion,however,the changes in antioxidant activities were the opposite.A total number of 2.5,2.2.and 386 peptide sequences were identified in undigested,peptic-digested and GI-digested samples,***,BIOPEP-UWM and admetSAR were used to further predict the functional properties and intestinal absorption of the identified peptide sequences from GI ***,18 peptides were discovered to possess either antioxidant or anti-inflammatory capacities.

Effect of diagenetic variation on the static and dynamic mechanical behavior of coral reef limestone

Coral reef limestone at different depositional depths and facies differ remarkably on the textural and mineralogical characteristics,owing to the complex sedimentary *** explore the effects of pore structure and mineral composition associated with diagenetic variation on the mechanical behavior of reef limestone,a series of quasi-static and dynamic compression tests along with microscopic examinations were performed on the reef limestone at shallow and deep burial *** is revealed that the shallow reef limestone(SRL)is classified as a porous aragonite-type carbonate rock with high porosity(55.3±3.2.%and pore *** comparison,the deep reef limestone(DRL)is mainly composed of dense calcite-type calcium carbonate with low porosity(4.9±1.6)%and pore *** DRL strengthened and stiffened by the tight grain framework consistently displays much higher values of the dynamic compressive strength,elastic modulus,brittleness index,and specific energy absorption than those of the *** gap between two types of limestone further increases with an increase in strain *** appears that the failure pattern of SRL is dominated by the inherent defects like weak bonding interfaces and growth lines,revealed by the intricate fracturing network and mixed ***,although the preexisting megapores in DRL may affect the crack propagation on pore tips to a certain distance,it hardly alters the axial splitting failure of DRL under *** stress wave propagation and attenuation in SRL is primarily controlled by the reflection and diffusion caused by plenty mesopores,as well as an energy dissipation in layer-wise pore collapse and adjacent grain crushing,while the stress wave in DRL is highly hinged on the insulation and diffraction induced by the isolated *** process is accompanied by the energy dissipation behavior of inelastic deformation resulted from the pore-emanated microcracking.

The influences of particle size,shape,and catalyst distribution on the reactivity and hydrocarbon product selectivity of a cobalt-based catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis were investigated in the present work.A self-consistent kinetic model for Fischer-Tropsch reaction proposed here was found to correlate experimental data well and hence was used to describe the consumption rates of reactants and formation rates of hydrocarbon *** perturbed-chain statistical associating fluid theory equation of state was used to describe vapor-liquid equilibrium behavior associated with Fischer-Tropsch *** interaction between intraparticle diffusion and Fischer-Tropsch reaction was investigated in *** showed that in order to avoid the adverse influence of intraparticle diffusional limitations on catalyst reactivity and product selectivity,the use of small particles is *** eggshell spherical particles are shown to keep the original catalyst reactivity and enhance the selectivity of heavy hydrocarbon *** suitable layer thickness for a spherical particle with a diameter of 2.mm is nearly 0.15 *** the same outer diameter of 2.mm,the catalyst reactivity and heavy product selectivity of hollow cylindrical particles with a layer thickness of 0.2. mm are found to be larger than eggshell spherical *** the viewpoint of catalytic performance,hollow cylindrical particles are a better choice for industrial applications.
