Immune reactions to foreign or self-antigens lead to protective immunity and, sometimes, immune disorders such as allergies and autoimmune diseases. Antigen presenting cells （APC） including epidermal Langerhans cells （LCs） play an important role in the course and outcome of the immune reactions. Epidermal powder immunization （EPI） is a technology that offers a tool to manipulate the LCs and the potential to harness the immune reactions towards prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and immune disorders.

Objective:To develop the rapid and efficient quantitative detection tool for nervous necrosis virus isolated from sevenband grouper Hyporhodus ***:The viral genes of the NNV(SGYeosu08) isolated from sevenband grouper were phylogenetically *** addition,novel quantitative PCR primers based on the genomic sequence of SGYeosu08 isolate were designed and compared it with the conventional bio-assay method(TCID_(50)) using in vitro and in vivo ***:The phylogenetic analysis of viral genes demonstrated the relationship of SGYeosu08 with members of red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus(RGNNV).The qNNV_Rl primer set(R1_F and R1_R) and the qNNV_R2 primer set(R2_F and R2_R) revealed 93%primer efficiency(regression:y=-0.2861 x + 9.9401,R^2= 0.9976)and the revealed 108%primer efficiency(regression:y=-0.3172 x + 10.0611,R^2= 0.9982),*** comparison with viral infectivity calculated by TCID_(50) method showed similar kinetic pattern at in vitro and NNV challenged fish(in vivo) ***:Result show that this method is rapid and efficient to diagnose NNV infection compare to traditional bioassay method(TCID_(50)).

Path analysis and estimation of additive and epistatic gene effects of barley SSD lines

In the paper presented, 99 single seed descent barley lines as well as their parental forms Roland and Apex were studied. The grain weight components and their interrelations were analyzed using simple coefficients of correlation. The direct and indirect effects of such components on grain weight per plant and 1 000-grain weight were estimated using path analysis. In the 2006 and 2007, the spike length and number of spikelets per spike were the determinants of grain weight. Genetic parameters as additive and epistasis effects were estimated for all studied traits. The results indicate the importance of both additive and epistasis gene effects of number of spikes per plant, grain weight per spike, grain number per plant and grain weight per plant in this study.

with more than one million new diseases per year breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. Metastatic breast cancer remains an incurable disease and the spinal column is most likely affected by metastases. A significantly prolonged patient survival is the consequence of modern oncologic treatment options in the last decade. Surgical treatment of vertebral metastases has become an increasing focus for spine surgeons. with the turn of the millennium it was possible to classify breast cancer into four intrinsic phenotypes with various survival rates. Well known scoring systems help surgeons to evaluate the patient's prognosis and to choose adequate treatment options. However, tumor entities are differentiated without regard to the molecular subtypes. In this article we describe surgical treatment options in metastatic lesions to the spine with regard to molecular phenotypes of breast cancer malignancy. It is crucial to correctly estimate the expected survival time to plan invasiveness of therapy regarding metastatic spine surgery.

Colovesical fistulas(CVFs) are rare complications of very advanced cancers of the abdominal or pelvic cavity and often cause diagnostic troubles. CVFs are found more often in males, whereas females usually suffer from rectovaginal or vesicovaginal fistulas. This article presents a case of a female patient who was admitted to the hospital because of acute diarrhea, presumably of infectious origin, and with only subtle abnormalities in blood tests and urinalysis. Owing to the ineffectiveness of the performed treatment and progressive intensification of symptoms, diagnostics were extended to include a computed tomography scan, sigmoidoscopy and cystography. The imaging results revealed a large heterogeneous conglomerate of solid and fluid structures in the pelvis, which involved reproductive organs, the bladder and sigmoid colon. The excrement leaking from the digestive tract was urine, and CVF was the fir-st manifestation of colon cancer. Shortly after the final diagnosis, the patient deteriorated and eventually died after an urgent colostomy was performed because of a bowel obstruction.

The constantly developing fiuidized combustion technology has become competitive with a conventional pulverized coal （PC） combustion. Circulating fluidized bed （CFB） boilers can be a good alternative to PC boilers due to their robustness and lower sensitivity to the fuel quality. However, appropriate engineering tools that can be used to model and optimize the construction and operating parameters of a CFB boiler still require development. This paper presents the application of a relatively novel hybrid Euler-Lagrange approach to model the dense gas-solid flow combined with a combustion process in a large-scale indus- trial CFB boiler. In this work, this complex flow has been resolved by applying the ANSYS FLUENT 14.0 commercial computational fluid dynamics （CFD） code. To accurately resolve the multiphase flow, the original CFD code has been extended by additional user-defined functions. These functions were used to control the boiler mass load, particle recirculation process （simplified boiler geometry）, and interphase hydrodynamic properties. This work was split into two parts. In the first part, which is referred to as pseudo combustion, the combustion process was not directly simulated. Instead, the effect of the chemi- cal reactions was simulated by modifying the density of the continuous phase so that it corresponded to the mean temperature and composition of the flue gases, In this stage, the particle transport was simu- lated using the standard Euler-Euler and novel hybrid Euler-Lagrange approaches, The obtained results were compared against measured data, and both models were compared to each other. In the second part, the numerical model was enhanced by including the chemistry and physics of combustion. Lithium(Li)metal with high theoretical capacity and low electrochemical potential is the most ideal anode for next-generation high-energy ***,the practical implementation of Li anode has been hindered by dendritic growth and volume expansion during cycling,which results in low Coulombic efficiency(CE),short lifespan,and safety ***,we report a highly stable and dendrite-free Li metal anode by utilizing N-doped hollow porous bowl-like hard carbon/reduced graphene nanosheets(CB@rGO)hybrids as three-dimensional(3D)conductive and lithiophilic scaffold *** lithiophilic carbon bowl(CB)mainly works as excellent guides during the Li plating process,whereas the rGO layer with high conductivity and mechanical stability maintains the integrity of the composite by confining the volume change in long-range order during ***,the local current density can be reduced due to the 3D conductive ***,CB@rGO presents a low lithium metal nucleation overpotential of 18 mV,high CE of 98%,and stable cycling without obvious voltage fluctuation for over 600 cycles at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2).Our study not only provides a good CB@rGO host and pre-Lithiated CB@rGO composite anode electrode,but also brings a new strategy of designing 3D electrodes for those active materials suffering from severe volume expansion.
