Objective The aim of this study was to explore the effects of 2-hexyl-4-pentylenic acid(HPTA)in combination with radiotherapy(RT)on distant unirradiated breast *** Using a rat model of chemical carcinogen(7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene,DMBA)-induced breast cancer,tumor volume was monitored and treatment response was evaluated by performing HE staining,immunohistochemistry,immunofluorescence,q RT-PCR,and western blot *** The results demonstrated that HPTA in combination with RT significantly delayed the growth of distant,unirradiated breast *** mechanism of action included tumor-associated macrophage(TAM)infiltration into distant tumor tissues,M1 polarization,and inhibition of tumor angiogenesis by IFN-γ.Conclusion The results suggest that the combination of HPTA with RT has an abscopal effect on distant tumors via M1-polarized TAMs,and HPTA may be considered as a new therapeutic for amplifying the efficacy of local RT for non-targeted breast tumors.

船舶主机余热梯级利用系统工质比较分析

本文以WARTSILA RT-flex96C型柴油机为研究对象,设计了船舶柴油机余热梯级利用系统——双级朗肯循环余热利用系统。选择四种工质组合方案针对所设计的系统进行热力计算,计算结果表明,以水和R113的组合方案热力性能最佳。计算了在高温循环的蒸发压力为0.79MPa、窄点温度为30℃、过热度为50℃,低温回路的蒸发压力为1.46MPa、窄点温度为15℃,冷凝温度均为30℃的情况下,系统的输出净功、热效率和㶲效率分别为3872.7kW、23.67%和61.71%。最后本文研究了高温回路蒸发温度、过热度以及窄点温度这三种参数对系统性能的影响。

目的:观察艾灸“足三里”对膝关节骨关节炎(KOA)大鼠血浆氨基酸代谢的影响,探讨艾灸修复KOA软骨损伤的氨基酸代谢机制。方法:SD大鼠随机分为正常组、模型组与艾灸组。模型组与艾灸组予以双侧膝关节腔内注射L-半胱氨酸与木瓜蛋白酶混合液制备KOA模型。艾灸组艾灸双侧“足三里”,30 min/次,每天1次,连续30 d。测量大鼠膝关节直径并计算各组大鼠膝关节肿胀度,Von Frey丝测定大鼠机械性痛阈值,HE染色法观察膝关节软骨组织损伤情况,ELISA法检测膝关节滑膜组织基质金属蛋白酶-13(MMP-13)含量,液相色谱-质谱法检测并筛选血浆差异氨基酸代谢物。结果:与正常组比较,模型组膝关节软骨表面不平整,软骨细胞数量减少,分布不均匀,局部可见簇集软骨细胞,潮线模糊,关节肿胀度升高(P<0.01),机械性痛阈值降低(P<0.01),滑膜组织MMP-13含量升高(P<0.01),血浆脯氨酸、色氨酸含量下调(P<0.01,P<0.05)。与模型组比较,艾灸组膝关节软骨组织损伤减轻,膝关节肿胀度降低(P<0.05),机械性痛阈值升高(P<0.05),滑膜组织MMP-13含量降低(P<0.01),血浆谷氨酸与组氨酸的含量下调(P<0.05)。结论:艾灸“足三里”能显著减轻KOA模型大鼠膝关节疼痛、关节炎性肿胀状态,缓解软骨损伤,通过调节部分血浆氨基酸代谢物水平调控KOA大鼠软骨的合成与分解,发挥抗炎镇痛和软骨损伤保护作用。

Prediction of added resistance of a ship in waves at low speed

This paper presents predictions of the added resistance of a ship in waves at a low speed according to the IMO minimum propulsion power requirement by a hybrid Taylor expansion boundary element method(TEBEM).The flow domain is divided into two parts:the inner domain and the outer *** first-order TEBEM with a simple Green function is used for the solution in the inner domain and the zero order TEBEM with a transient free surface Green function is used for the solution in the outer *** TEBEM is applied in the numerical prediction of the motions and the added resistance in waves for three new designed commercial *** numerical results are compared with those obtained from the seakeeping model *** is shown that the prediction of the ship motions and the added resistance in waves are in good agreement with the experimental *** comparison also indicates that the accuracy of the motion estimation is crucial for the prediction of the wave added *** general,the TEBEM enjoys a satisfactory accuracy and efficiency to predict the added resistance in waves at a low speed according to the IMO minimum propulsion power requirement.

The effects of the dust size distribution in ultracold quantum dusty plasmas are investigated. The amplitude φm and width ω of quantum dust acoustic waves are studied with different dust size distributions in the system. The φm and ω of the quantum dust acoustic waves are found to increase as the total number density increases. The φm and ω are greater for unusual dusty plasmas than for typical dusty plasmas. Moreover, as the Fermi temperature of the dust grains increases, the φm of the wave decreases. The ω of quantum dust acoustic waves increases as the speed u0 of the wave increases

Background Bladder cancer is the most common type of urinary system tumours. It is frequently associated with genetic mutations that deregulate the cell cycle and render these tumours resistant to apoptosis. Survivin, a newly discovered member inhibitor of apoptosis protein （IAP） family in several human cancers, by inducing cell proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis is frequently activated in bladder cancer. We studied the influence of small interfering RNA （siRNA） targeting survivin on the biological behaviour of bladder cancer cells. Methods A double strand survivin target sequence specific siRNA was designed and synthesized. After transfection of bladder cancer cell line T24 by siRNA/liposome complex with increasing concentrations （50-200 nmol/L）, the transfectant cells were intratumourally injected at different doses （5 μg or 50 μg）. The effects were measured in vitro and in vivo.Results The selected siRNA efficiently down-regulated survivin mRNA expression in a dose and time dependent manner. The maximal effect was achieved at the concentration of 100 nmol/L, at which survivin expression level was down-regulated by 75.91%. The inhibition rate of cell growth was 55.29% （P〈0.01） and the markedly increased apoptotic rate was 45.70% （P〈0.01）. In vivo intratumoural injection of 50 μg siRNA-survivin could notably orevent the growth of bladder cancer （P〈0.01） in xenografted animals.Conclusion The application of siRNA-survivin could markedly inhibit survivin expression in bladder cancer cell line by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting the growth of the tumour. It may become a new gene therapy tool for bladder cancer.

Transitional cell carcinoma （TCC） of bladder is the most common malignant tumor in uropoiesis system. Up to date, there is still lack of an ideal marker for the diagnosis of TCC except CT and MRI imaging and cystoscopy. Cystoscopy is an invasive examination, which increases the possibility of urinary tract infection. Urine cytology has low sensitivity （21%--40%） in diagnosis of bladder cancer, especially for those with medium or high differentiation. The specificity is often affected by factors such as specimen collection, urinary tract infection, etc. Detecting the expression of survivin mRNA in urine by real time-PCR is simple in specimen collection and is sensitive and relatively specific, which provides a simple and noninvasive diagnostic method for TCC. Moreover it allows comparing the gene expression levels at different stages and grades of TCC, which can help define malignancy degree of TCC.
