At present,biomimetic antifouling research objects are mostly concentrated on the fast-moving marine organism,but the anti-fouling effect of the low-speed or static marine equipment is not *** paper describes the anti-fouling mechanism of soft coral(Sarcophyton trocheliophorum),including the physical defense mechanism and the bactericidal ability of mucus and coral *** a sessile organisms,soft coral lacks escape ***,the study on its antibacterial strategy is significant because it can provide theoretical guidance for static *** showed that the live soft coral would molt in unfriendly environment,and the secreted mucus could defend themselves against fouling ***,Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry(LC-MS)analysis was conducted to identify the bioactive compounds of the coral powder and *** revealed that both powder and mucus contained a wide variety of toxic components,which had bactericidal ***,at the same concentration,the inhibitory effect of the main components on Gram-negative bacteria was stronger than that on positive *** findings enhance the understanding about the antifouling mechanism of soft coral and provide new ideas for design and prepare novel antifouling strategy to combat biofouling under static condition.

A forced ignition probability analysis method is developed for turbulent combustion,in which kernel formation is analyzed with local kernel formation criteria,and flame propagation and stabilization are simulated with Lagrangian flame particle *** kernel formation,the effect of turbulent scalar transport on flammability is modelled through the incorporation of turbulenceinduced diffusion in a spherically outwardly propagating flame kernel *** dependence of flammability limits on turbulent intensities is tabulated and serves as the flammability criterion for kernel *** Lagrangian flame particle tracking,flame particles are tracked in a structured grid with flow fields being interpolated from a Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)*** particle velocity follows a Langevin model consisting of a linear drift and an isotropic diffusion *** Karlovitz number is employed for the extinction criterion,which compares chemical and turbulent *** integration of the above two-step analysis approach with non-reacting CFD is achieved through a general interpolation interface suitable for general unstructured CFD *** method is demonstrated for a methane/air bluff-body flame,in which flow and fuel/air mixing characteristics are extracted from a non-reacting *** show that the computed ignition probability map agrees qualitatively with experimental results.A reduction of the ignition probability in the recirculation zone and a high ignition probability on the shear layer of the recirculation zone near the mean stoichiometric surface are well *** tools can facilitate optimization of spark placement and offer insights into ignition processes.

A series of B-doped V_(2)O_(5)/TiO_(2) catalysts has been prepared the by sol-gel and impregnation methods to investigate the influence of B-doping on the selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NOxwith NH_(3).X-ray diffraction,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller specific surface area,scanning electron microscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,temperature-programmed reduction of H_(2) and temperature-programmed desorption of NH_(3)technology were used to study the effect of the B-doping on the structure and NH_(3)-SCR activity of V_(2)O_(5)/TiO_(2) *** experimental results demonstrated that the introduction of B not only improved the low-temperature SCR activity of the catalysts,but also broadened the activity temperature *** best SCR activity in the entire test temperature range is obtained for VTiB_(2.0) with 2.0%doping amount of B and the NO_(x) conversion rate is up to 94.3%at 210℃.The crystal phase,specific surface area,valence state reducibility and surface acidity of the active components for the as-prepared catalysts are significantly affected by the B-doping,resulting in an improved NH_(3)-SCR *** results suggest that the V_(2)O_(5)/TiO_(2) catalysts with an appropriate B content afford good candidates for SCR in the low temperature window.

Reducing the influence of back-sputtering effect can effectively improve the accuracy of the measurement of the Hall thruster plume *** crystal microbalance(QCM)was used to measure the deposition and sputtering distribution of HET-40 thruster plume on two different experimental conditions:case1,using liquid nitrogen heat sinks and case 2,without using liquid nitrogen heat ***,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)was used to analyze the composition of the QCM surface after two *** results of the two experiments showed that the sputtering rate under the condition of case 1 was slightly higher than case *** within the range of 90°to 110°relative to the thruster axis,case 1 experiment result showed sputtering effect,while case 2 experiment showed deposition *** analysis of the experimental results,it can be found that using liquid nitrogen heat sink to reduce the temperature of the inner wall surface of vacuum chamber can effectively adsorb the particles sputtered by the plume and reduce the concentration of back-sputtering particles,leading to the above phenomenon.

CuInS2 semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) exhibit large absorption coefficient, size-dependent photoluminescence and low toxicity, making them excellent candidates in a variety of bioapplications. However, precise control of both their composition and morphology to improve the luminescent efficiency remains a great challenge via conventional direct synthesis. Herein, we present a novel low-temperature template synthesis of highly efficient luminescent CuInS2 nanoprobes from In2S3 NCs via a facile cation exchange strategy. The proposed strategy enables synthesis of a series of CuInS2 NCs with broad size tunability from 2.2 to 29.6 nm. Through rationally manipulating the stoichiometry of Cu/In, highly efficient luminescence of CuInS2 with the maximum quantum yield of 28.6% has been achieved, which is about one order of magnitude improvement relative to that of directly synthesized NCs. By virtue of the intense emission of CuInS2 nanoprobes, we exemplify their application in sensitive homogeneous biodetection for an important biomolecule of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) with the limit of detection down to 49.3 nM. Moreover, the CuInS2 nanoprobes are explored for ATP-targeted cancer cell imaging, thus revealing their great potentials in the field of cancer diagnosis and prognosis.

Luminescence ratiometric thermometry based on rare earth(RE)ions has attracted great interest for the potential applications in many *** the improvement of the measurement sensitivity and accuracy is significantly restricted due to the small energy gap between thermally coupled levels(TCL).Here,a strategy striving for good thermometric properties of luminescent materials was designed by using the phosphors mixture composed of NaY(WO_(4))_(2):Nd^(3+)-Yb^(3+)and NaY(WO_(4))_(2):Er^(3+),which were prepared by secondary sintering *** the excitation of 980 nm lase r,the near-infrared(NIR)emissions(710-920 nm)from Nd^(3+)ions are effectively strengthened when the temperature increases from 304 to773 K,whereas Er^(3+)NIR luminescence centered at around 1536 nm is thermally *** remarkably different response of NIR emissions to the thermal variation allows us to map temperature through the ratiometric *** optimizing the dopant concentration of rare earth(RE)ions,a maximum sensitivity of 5.14%/K together with a measurement uncertainty of about 0.1 K is acquired at304 K,which is superior to the previously reported RE luminescence-based temperature sensors,indicating that the approach developed here can pave the way for achieving optical thermometry with desired properties.

Plasma electrochemical oxidation (PEO) is a surface modification technology to form ceramic coatings on magnesium alloys However,its application is limited due to its *** work reports a novel preparation of in-situ sealing of PEO coatings by four-layer voltage and sol *** morphology and structure were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS),and X-ray diffractometer (XRD).Image-Pro Plus 6.0 was used to determine the porosity of the coating,which was decreased from 8.53%to 0.51%.Simultaneously,the coating thickness was increased by a factor of *** anti-corrosion performance of each sample was evaluated using electrochemical tests,and the findings revealed that the corrosion current density of coatings (i_(corr)) of the samples were lowered from 9.152×10^(-2) to 6.152×10^(-4) mA·cm^(-2),and the total resistance (R_(T)) of the samples were enhanced from 2.19×10^(4) to 2.33×10^(5)Ω·cm^(2).The salt spray test used to simulate the actual environment showed that corrosion points appeared on the surface of the coating only at the 336 *** addition,the mechanism of PEO self-sealing behavior was described in this article.

Carbon emission accounting is an important basis for global climate *** on the consumption-based accounting(CBA)method,the characteristics of carbon flow between national,regional,and product processes could be more clearly ***,CBA is more conducive to clarifying the attribution of responsibilities between producers and consumers,with the principles of fairness and *** accounting for carbon emissions in typical countries from 1990 to 2019,we found that the CBA emissions are higher than the production-based accounting(PBA)emissions in major developed countries,while the results are reversed for developing *** the past 30 years,the CBA emissions in targeted developed countries generally have shown a downward trend,while in developing countries,they have shown an upward *** emissions in China have shown a continuous growth trend from 1990 to 2019,but the pace has slowed down significantly over the last ***,the embodied carbon intensity of China’s exports continues to decline,indicating that China is providing more green and low-carbon products to the *** the PV industry as an example,this study further reveals the contribution of specific product industries to the country’s carbon transfer through product carbon footprint *** order to provide a scientific basis for global mitigation and climate governance,it is urgent to innovate a scientific,practical,and standardized CBA technology system.

In this paper we study a free boundary problem modelling tumor growth, proposed by A. Friedman in 2004. This free boundary problem involves a nonlinear second-order parabolic equation describing the diffusion of nutrient in the tumor, and three nonlinear first-order hyperbolic equations describing the evolution of proliferative cells, quiescent cells and dead cells, respectively. By applying Lp theory of parabolic equations, the characteristic theory of hyperbolic equations, and the Banach fixed point theorem, we prove that this problem has a unique global classical solution.

Laccase was immobilized on the ceramic-chitosan composite support by using glutaraldehyde as the cross-linking reagent. The immobilization conditions and characterization of the immobilized enzyme were investigated. The immobilization of laccase was successfully realized when 3.0 mL of 1.25 mg/mL of laccase at a pH value of 4.0 reacted with 0.15 g of ceramic-chitosan composite support(CCCS) at 4 ℃ for 24 h. The immobilized enzyme exhibited a maximum activity at pH 3.0. The optimal temperatures for immobilized enzyme were 25 ℃ and 50 ℃. The K_m value of immobilized laccase for ABTS was 66.64 μmol/L at a pH value of 3.0 at 25 ℃. Compared with free laccase, the thermal, operating and storage stability of immobilized laccase was improved after the immobilization.
