Thallium is a highly toxic metal,and trace amount of thallium(I)(Tl+)in potable water could cause a severe water crisis,which arouses the exploitation of highly-effective technology for purification of Tl+contaminated *** report proposes the multi-layered Prussian blue(PB)-decorated composite membranes(PBx@PDA/PEI-FP)based on the aminated filter papers for Tl+*** characterization by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer-attenuated total reflectance,scanning electron microscope,thermogravimetric analysis,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction were performed to confirm the in situ growth of cubic PB crystals on filter paper membrane surfaces via the aminated layers,and the successful fabrication of multi-layered PB overcoats via the increasing of aminated *** effect of PB layers on Tl+removal by PBx@PDA/PEI-FP from simulated drinking water was evaluated as well as the influence of different experimental conditions.A trade-off between PB decoration layer number and PB distribution sizes is existed in Tl+uptake by PBx@PDA/*** double-layered PB2@PDA/PEI-FP membrane showed the maximum sorption capacity,but its Tl+uptake performance was weakened by the acid,coexisting ions(K+and Na+)and powerful operation pressure,during filtrating a large volume of low-concentrated Tl+-containing ***,the negative effect of coexisting ions on the Tl+uptake could be effectively eliminated in weak alkaline water,and the Tl+removal was increased up to 100%without any pressure driving for PB2@PDA/PEI-FP *** importantly,PB2@PDA/PEI-FP displayed the high-efficiency and high-selectivity in purifying the Tl+-spiked Pearl River water,in which the residual Tl+in filtrate was less than 2μg·L^(–1) to meet the drinking water standard of United States Environmental Protection *** work provides a feasible avenue to safeguard the drinking water in remote and underdeveloped area via the energy-free operation.

A novel green long afterglow material CaGeO_(3):Tb^(3+)was synthesized by high temperature solid phase *** to the experimental results,CaGeO_(3):Tb^(3+)is a green long persistent luminescent(LPL)material with excellent ***_(3):Tb^(3+)shows LPL emission peak at 442,490.9,548.7,588.5 and 623.8 nm,corresponding to ^(5)D_(3) to^(7)F_(4)and^(5)D_(4)to^(7)F_(J)(J=6,5,4,3)transitions of Tb^(3+).Its CIE coordinates are(0.27,0.50),indicating that the afterglow emission is close to the light of green *** addition,after the excitation source is turned off,the afterglow time is longer than 90 *** an interval of 7 h,the photo-stimulation luminescence(PSL)can be observed by using 980 nm laser cyclic *** thermoluminescence(ThL)results show that there are three types of traps in the material and their depths are 0.666,0.774 and 0.892 eV respectively,which are caused by the doping of Tb^(3+).All the results show that CaGeO_(3):Tb^(3+)is an excellent long afterglow luminescent material.

The Shanghai Laser Electron Gamma Source(SLEGS,located in BL03SSID)beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF)is a Laser Compton Scattering(LCS)gamma source used for the investigation of nuclear structure,which is in extensive demand in fields such as nulear astrophysics;nulear cdluster structure,polarization physics;and nulear energy The beamline is based on the inverse Compton scattering of 10640 nm photons on 3.5 GeV electrons and a gamma source with va riable energy by changing the scattering angle frorm 20°to 160°.γrays of 0.25-21.1 MeV can be extracted by the scheme consisting of the interaction chamber,coarse collinator,fine collimator,and *** maximum photon flux for 1800 is approximately 10^(7)photons/s at the target at 21.7 MeV,with a 3-mm-diameter *** beamline was equipped with four types of spectrometers for experiments in(Y,Y'),(7,n),(Y,D),and(7,0).At present,Nuclear Resonance Fluorescence(NRF)spectrometry,Flat-Efficiency neutron Detector(FED)spectrometry,neutron Time-OF Flight(TOF)spectrometry,and Light-Charged Particle(LCP)spectrormetry methods have been developed.

SnO2/metal organic complex composite derived from low-temperature activated metal organic complex for advanced lithium storage

Developing fluorescence porous probe for detecting and eliminating Cu^(2+) contamination in water or biosystem is an essential research project that has attracted considerable ***,improving the fluorescence detecting efficiency while enhancing the adsorption capacity of the porous probe is of great ***,a bifunctional two-dimensional imine-based porous covalent organic framework(TTP-COF)probe was designed and synthesized from 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenyl)benzene(TAPB)and 2,4,6-Triformylphloroglucinol(TP)***-COF displayed rapid detection of Cu^(2+)(limit of detection(LOD)=10 nmol·L^(−1) while achieving a high adsorption capacity of 214 mg·g^(−1)(pH=6)at room temperature with high reusability(>5 cycles).The key roles and contributions of highπ-conjugate and delocalized electrons in TABP and functional–OH groups in TP were *** importantly,the fluorescence quenching mechanism of TTP-COF was studied by density functional theory theoretical calculations,revealing the crucial role of intramolecular hydrogen bonds among C=N and–OH groups and the blocking of the excited state intramolecular proton transfer process in detecting process of Cu^(2+).

Impacts of thermal and electric contact resistance on the material design in segmented thermoelectric generators

LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.05)O_(2)(NCA) is a promising cathode for sulfide-based solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)profiting from its high specific capacity and voltage plateau, which yielding high energy density. However, the inferior interfacial stability between the bare NCA and sulfides limits its electrochemical performance. Hereien, the dual-electrolyte layer is proposed to mitigate this effect and enhance the battery performances of NCA-based ASSLIBs. The Li_(3)InCl_6 wih high conductivity and excellent electrochemcial stability act both as an ion additives to promote Li-ion diffusion across the interface in the cathode and as a buffer layer between the cathode layer and the solid electrolyte layer to avoid side reactions and improve the interface stability. The corresponding battery exhibits high discharge capacities and superior cyclabilities at both room and elevated temperatures. It exhibits discharge performance of 237.04 and216.07 m Ah/g at 0.1 and 0.5 C, respectively, when cycled at 60 ℃, and sustains 95.9% of the capacity after100 cycles at 0.5 C. The work demonstrates a simple strategy to ensure the superior performances of NCA in sulfide-based ASSLBs.

A newly proposed heatstroke-induced coagulopathy score in patients with heat illness: A multicenter retrospective study in China

Purpose:In patients with heatstroke, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is associated with greater risk of in-hospital mortality. However, time-consuming assays or a complex diagnostic system may delay immediate treatment. Therefore, the present study proposes a new heatstroke-induced coagulopathy (HIC) score in patients with heat illness as an early warning indicator for ***:This retrospective study enrolled patients with heat illness in 24 Chinese hospitals from March 2021 to May 2022. Patients under 18 years old, with a congenital clotting disorder or liver disease, or using anticoagulants were excluded. Data were collected on demographic characteristics, routine blood tests, conventional coagulation assays and biochemical indexes. The risk factors related to coagulation function in heatstroke were identified by regression analysis, and used to construct a scoring system for HIC. The data of patients who met the diagnostic criteria for HIC and International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis defined-DIC were analyzed. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS ***:The final analysis included 302 patients with heat illness, of whom 131 (43.4%) suffered from heatstroke, including 7 death (5.3%). Core temperature (OR = 1.681, 95% CI 1.291 - 2.189, p ng system because of their close relation with abnormal coagulation. A total score ≥ 3 indicated HIC, and HIC scores correlated with the score for International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis-DIC (r = 0.8848, p < 0.001). The incidence of HIC (27.5%) was higher than that of DIC (11.2%) in all of 131 heatstroke patients. Meanwhile, the mortality rate of HIC (19.4%) was lower than that of DIC (46.7%).
