Carbyne,the linear chain of carbon,promises the strongest and toughest material but possesses a Peierls instability(alternating single-bonds and triple-bonds)that reduces its strength and ***,we computationally found that the gravimetric strength,strain-to-failure,and gravimetric toughness can be improved from 74 GPa·g^(-1)·cm^(3),18%,and 9.4 k J·g^(-1)for pristine carbyne to the highest values of 106 GPa·g^(-1)·cm^(3),26%,and 19.0 k J·g^(-1)for carbyne upon hole injection of+0.07 e/atom,indicating the charged carbyne with record-breaking mechanical *** on the analyses of the atomic and electronic structures,the underlying mechanism behind the record-breaking mechanical performance was revealed as the suppressed and even eliminated bond alternation of carbyne upon charge injection.

Objective The purpose of this study was to screen for frequencies of different CYP450 genotypes in the Chinese population and explore the relationship between sorafenib toxicity and CYP450 polymorphism. Methods A total of 600 peripheral blood samples were obtained from two groups for this study. The first group of 300 samples were from Chinese patients with HBV/HCV-associated HCC, while the remaining 300 samples were from a healthy population of recruited subjects. Allele-specific PCR and long-fragment gene sequencing was used to identify the frequencies of CYP450 polymorphism. Aflatoxin-induced HCC rat models expressing CYP3A4*1, CYP3A5*3, CYP2C19*2, and CYP2D6*10 were established and treated with sorafenib at certain time points. Hepatic and renal function, along with plasma concentration of sorafenib, were monitored regularly. Results The most common forms of CYP mutations in the Chinese population were identified. The levels of sorafenib plasma concentration, as well as damage to hepatic and renal function in aflatoxin-induced HCC rat models varied significantly across the different CYP genotypes. Conclusion The mutational frequencies of CYP3A5, CYP3A4, CYP2C19, and CYP2D6 genotypes varied among different ethnic groups and populations. Individuals with CYP3A5*3 demonstrated minimal sorafenib metabolism, which led to severe hepatic and renal damage. Inter-individual variability in sorafenib-toxicity may be interpreted by CYP450 genetic polymorphisms, suggesting that identification of CYP polymorphism within a certain population should be considered in sorafenib therapy.

A new Cu(Ⅱ) coordination polymer, [Cu(L1)(L2)](1), was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions(H_2L1 = 4-(carboxymethoxy)benzoic acid, L2 = 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1 H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline). Crystallographic data for 1: triclinic, space group P1 with a = 9.750(5), b = 10.148(5), c = 12.869(5) ?, α = 104.904(5), β = 102.133(5), γ = 95.219(5)°, V = 1188.7(10) ?~3, Z = 2, C_(28)H_(17)FN_4O_5Cu, Mr = 572.01, D_c = 1.598 g/cm^3, F(000) = 582, μ(MoKa) = 0.977 mm^(-1), R = 0.0474 and w R = 0.1144. The TGA behaviors and luminescence of 1 have been studied in detail. The L1 dianions link neighboring Cu(Ⅱ) atoms in a bis-chelating mode, yielding a one-dimensional chain structure along the b axis. The L2 ligands are attached on one side of the chain through chelating the Cu(Ⅱ) atoms, and are stacked with those of an adjacent chain through π-π interactions, yielding a layer structure. Additionally, the N–H???O hydrogen bonds further stabilize the structure of 1.

L1 is one of the largest offshore gas fields currently under *** order to optimize the related design,nodal analysis is applied(including proper consideration of the plant productivity,sensitivity to the tubing size,erosion effects,liquid carrying performance,and tubing string).As a result of such approach,it is shown that 13Cr material should be chosen as the appropriate tubing ***,3-1/2 inches 9.3 lb/ft N80 tubing,4-1/2 inches 12.75 lb/ft N80 tubing,5-1/2 inches 17 lb/ft N80 tubing should be used for a gas production rate under 80×10^(4)m^(3)/d,between 80×10^(4)m^(3)/d and 120×10^(4)m^(3)/d and above 120×10^(4)m^(3)/d,respectively.

The relationship between structure and hysteresis of phase transformation temperature in NiTi shape memory alloy has been investigated by means of TEM observation,positron an- nihilation and electrical resistivity *** sequence of hysteresis for the alloy aged under different regimes was found to be:plate martensite>R-phase>tie-like martensite. The reversible displaeement of phase boundaries of these transformations is blocked by the co- herent stress field around Ti_(11)Ni_(14)phase particles.A linear relationship between S paramet- er of positron annihilation and maximum values of temperature hysteresis showed that the mismatch dislocation and elastic stress field established by Ti_(11)Ni_(14)phase precipitation are the main factor to determine the temperature hysteresis of phase transformation in NiTi shape memory alloy.

Nickel is a toxic heavy metal among trace elements which has a detrimental impact on living organisms. There is growing need of finding an economic and effective solution for Ni(Ⅱ) immobilization in environments. Chinese loess was selected as adsorbent to remove Ni(Ⅱ) from aqueous solution. Adsorbent dosage, reaction time, solute concentration, temperature, and solution p H also have influences on efficiency of Ni(Ⅱ) removal. The monolayer adsorption capacity of loess towards Ni(Ⅱ) is determined to be about 15.61 mg/g. High temperature and p H favor the removal of Ni(Ⅱ) using Chinese loess soil and the optimal dosage of loess is determined to be 10 g/L. The kinetics and adsorption isotherms of the adsorption process can be best-fitted with the pseudo second order kinetics and Langmuir isothermal model, respectively. The thermodynamic analysis reveals that the adsorption process is spontaneous, endothermic and the system disorder increases with duration. Nickel ions can be removed with the removal efficiency of 98.5% at p H greater than or equal to 9.7. Further studies on loess and Ni(Ⅱ) laden loess(using X-Ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and Ni(Ⅱ) species distribution at various p H have been conducted to discuss the adsorption mechanism. Loess soils in China have proven to be a potential adsorbent for Ni(Ⅱ) removal from aqueous solutions.
