Upper gastrointestinal(GI)cancers are the leading cause of cancer-related deaths *** identification of precancerous lesions has been shown to minimize the incidence of GI cancers and substantiate the vital role of screening ***,unlike GI cancers,precancerous lesions in the upper GI tract can be subtle and difficult to *** intelligence techniques,especially deep learning algorithms with convolutional neural networks,might help endoscopists identify the precancerous lesions and reduce interobserver *** this review,a systematic literature search was undertaken of the Web of Science,PubMed,Cochrane Library and Embase,with an emphasis on the deep learning-based diagnosis of precancerous lesions in the upper GI *** status of deep learning algorithms in upper GI precancerous lesions has been systematically *** challenges and recommendations targeting this field are comprehensively analyzed for future research.

The main purpose of this paper is to give a review on recent advances of wavelet in probability and statistics. Many interesting new ideas, new results and new methods are introduced in this review. From many aspects of this paper, probability and statistics researchers may find many new interesting research topics for further studying on wavelets in stochastic processes. New results, such as K- sta-tionarity, wavelet representation of Karhunen processes, hidden periodicities analysis by wavelet approach, hetero-scedasticity in wavelet regression, wavelets and neural networks, etc. are introduced in this paper. Comments, discussions and plentiful references are also involved in this review.

This paper proposes a static-output-feedback based robust fuzzy wheelbase preview control algorithm for uncertain active suspensions with time delay and finite frequency ***,a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy augmented model is established to formulate the half-car active suspension system with consideration of time delay,sprung mass variation and wheelbase preview ***,in view of the resonation between human’s organs and vertical vibrations in the frequency range of 4–8 Hz,a finite frequency control criterion in terms of H∞norm is developed to improve ride ***,other mechanical constraints are also considered and satisfied via generalized H2 ***,in order to maintain the feasibility of the controller despite of some state variables are not online-measured,a two stage approach is adopted to derive a static output feedback ***,numerical simulation results illustrate the excellent performance of the proposed controller.

AIM:To evaluate sertraline,a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor in the treatment of patients with functional ***:Consecutive tertiary hospital patients with a clinical diagnosis of functional dyspepsia(FD) according to the Rome Ⅱ criteria with a Hong Kong dyspepsia index(HKDI) of greater than 16 were *** commenced enrolment prior to the inception of the Rome Ⅲ criteria for functional *** patients were ethnic Chinese,had a normal upper endoscopy and were Helicobacter pylori negative prior to *** patients were randomized to receive sertraline 50 mg or placebo daily for 8 *** symptom scores,quality of life,hospital anxiety and depression(HAD) scale and global symptom relief were evaluated before,during and after *** effects were monitored during and after ***:A total of 193 patients were randomized in the intention to treat(ITT),and 150 patients were included in the per protocol(PP) *** both the ITT and PP,there was no difference in the primary outcome of global dyspepsia symptoms between the sertraline and placebo groups at week *** the ITT analysis,98 and 95 patients were randomized to the sertraline and placebo groups respectively.A total of 43 patients withdrew from the study(22.3%) by week 8,with 23 of the 24 drop-outs in the sertraline group occurring prior to week 4(95.8%).In contrast,in the placebo arm,11 of 19 patients dropped out by week 4(57.9%).Utilizing the last response carried forward to account for the drop-outs,there were no differences between the sertraline and placebo groups at baseline in terms of the HKDI,HKDI 26.08 ± 6.19 vs 26.70 ± 5.89,P = 0.433;and at week 8,HKDI 22.41 ± 6.36 vs 23.25 ± 7.30,P = 0.352 *** the PP analysis,74 and 76 patients were randomized to the sertraline and placebo groups *** baseline,there were no statistically significant differences between the sertraline and placebo groups,HKDI 25.83 ± 6.313 vs 27.19 ±

Objectives:*** examine the characteristics of patients with erectile dysfunction in a family physician led erectile dysfunction clinic;*** review association of chronic disease spectrum and erectile dysfunction;*** review initial treatment pattern and ***:Retrospective case series ***:All consecutive patients seen in a regional hospital family physician led erectile dysfunction clinic from April 2014 to March *** outcome measures:*** severity of erectile dysfunction,based on International Index of Erectile Function(IIEF-5).*** associated chronic comorbidities of *** patterns and patient ***:One hundred and eighty three patients presented with erectile dysfunction(ED)with mean age 58.7(range 23 to 82)years old were seen during the study *** hundred and twenty seven patients(69.4%)had comorbidity of chronic diseases,including 50.8%had hypertension,38.8%had diabetes mellitus and 33.9%had *** mean body mass index was 25.2 kg/m2,the mean blood pressure was 137.3/79.5 mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa).According to IIEF-5 score,50.3%,30.6%and 18.6%had severe,moderate and mild erectile dysfunction *** average duration of ED before seeking medical help was 3.9 *** 5(PDE5)inhibitors were prescribed to 119 patients(65%),and 57.1%of them achieved good *** nine patients(15.8%)were referred to other specialty for further management,including 27.6%had contraindication for PDE5 ***:High proportion of erectile dysfunction patients had comorbitiy of chronic dis-eases.57.1%of those patients receiving PDE5 inhibitors showed good response.

Metabolic(dysfunction)-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)is currently the most common chronic liver disease and affects at least a quarter of the global adult *** has rapidly become one of the leading causes of hepatocellular carcinoma and cirrhosis in Western *** this review,we discuss the nomenclature and definition of MAFLD as well as its prevalence and incidence in different geographical *** cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in MAFLD patients,the proportion of patients dying from hepatic complications increases sharply as the disease progresses to advanced liver fibrosis and *** addition,patients with MAFLD are at increased risk of various extrahepatic *** a causal relationship between MAFLD and extrahepatic cancers has not been established,clinicians should recognize the association and consider cancer screening(e.g.,for colorectal cancer)as appropriate.

This paper proposed the design of a dual-port rectifier with multifrequency *** RF rectifier is achieved using a combination of L-section inductive impedance matching network(IMN)at Port-1 with a multiple stubs impedance transformer at *** fabricated prototype can harvest RF signal from GSM/900,GSM/1800,UMTS/2100,Wi-Fi/2.45 and LTE/2600 frequency bands at(0.94,1.80,2.10,2.46,and 2.63 GHz),*** rectifier occupies a small portion of a PCB board at 0.20λg×0.15λ*** proposed circuit realized a measured peak RF-to-dc(radio frequency direct current)power conversion efficiency(PCE)of(21%,22.76%,25.33%,21.57%,and 22.14%)for an input power of−20 *** RF harvester attains a measured peak RF-to-dc PCE of 72.70%and an output dc voltage of 154 mV for an input power of 3 dBm at 2.46 *** of the proposed rectifier in the ambiance gives a peak dc output voltage of 376.1 mV from the five signal ***,a low-powered bq25504-674 evaluation module(EVM)is integrated with the *** module boost and drive the rectifier output dc voltage to 945 *** performance of the proposed rectifier in the ambiance environment makes it a suitable module for low-powered RF applications.

Adoptive T-cell therapy(ACT)is a promising therapeutic approach based on the concept of potent T-cell mediated immunity against the *** outcome of antigen-specific T-cells responses relies on the interaction between T-cells and antigen-presenting cells,which provides signals for generating different T-cell phenotypes with different roles in tumor ***,such interaction is often not optimal in vivo and results in low therapeutic *** reach the full potential of the T-cell response,current research put effort into developing dynamic biomaterials as artificial antigen-presenting cells to study and regulate the T-cell activity for controlling T-cell *** this perspective,we provide(1)an overview of ACT and general T-cells behaviors,(2)explore the insight on how biomaterials can be used for studying and regulating T-cell behaviors,(3)and discuss conceptual gaps in knowledge for biomaterials-based immunotherapy.
