Magnetic Properties and Coercivity of MnGa Films Deposited on Different Substrates

MnGa films were grown by magnetron sputtering on thermally oxidized Si（Si/SiO2） and glass substrates. Films grown on single-crystal Si（100） substrate with different underlayers were prepared for comparison. It is found that the Si/SiO2 substrate is more suitable for growing high-coercivity MnGa films than the glass substrate, which is the result of the isolated-island-like growth. A coercivity of 9.7 kOe can be achieved for the 10 nm MnGa films grown on Si/SiO2 substrate at substrate temperature TS of 450 °*** experimental conditions are specified by changing the thickness of the MnGa films and the temperature of the substrates.

Using e^(+)e^(−)annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^(−1)taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector,a joint amplitude analysis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual components are obtained,and large interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1)(1260)π,D^(0)→π(1300)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(S)are observed in both *** the obtained amplitude model,the CP-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to be(75.2±1.1_(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** branching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to be(0.688±0.010_(stat.)±0.010_(syst.))%and(0.951±0.025_(stat.)±0.021_(syst.))%,*** amplitude analysis provides an important model for the binning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKM angleγ(ϕ_(3))via the B^(−)→DK^(−)decay.

In order to obtain ultrafine Nd-Fe-B powder, a spray-dried precursor was treated by reduction-diffusion (R/D) process. And, unlike the conventional R/D process, calcium reduction that is a crucial step for the formation of Nd2Fe14B was performed without conglomerating the precursor with Ca powder. By adopting this modified process, it is possible to synthesize the hard magnetic Nd2Fe14B at the reaction temperature as low as 850 ℃. The average size of Nd2Fe14B particles that are uniformly distributed in the optimally treated powder was were enclosed with thin layers of Nd-rich phase. Typical magnetic properties of such powder without eliminating impurity CaO were iHc=～5.9 kOe, Br=～5.5 kG, and (BH)max=～6 MGOe.

In 220 consecutive patients with non-obstructive azoospermia, sperm retrieval was attempted by a combination of conventional and microdissection testicular sperm extraction （TESE）. For sperm retrieval, 2-3 conventional biopsies were performed followed by a microdissection TESE in cases of negative conventional biopsies. During the surgery, the vasculature of the testis was assessed using the operative microscope, and the location of positive biopsies was registered in relation to the blood supply. The overall sperm retrieval rate was 58.2%. From the initial conventional biopsies, sperm could be retrieved in 46.8% of the patients. with microdissection TESE, sperm could be retrieved from an additional 11.4% of the patients. The further use of microdissection TESE improved the sperm retrieval rate significantly （P=0.017）. No significant accumulation of positive biopsies was found towards the rete testis or the main testicular vessels.

The number ofψ(3686)events collected by the BESⅢdetector during the 2021 run period is determined to be(2259.3±11.1)×10~6 by counting inclusiveψ(3686)hadronic *** uncertainty is systematic and the statistical uncertainty is ***,the numbers ofψ(3686)events collected during the 2009 and 2012run periods are updated to be(107.7±0.6)×10~6 and(345.4±2.6)×10~6,*** numbers are consistent with the previous measurements within one standard *** total number ofψ(3686)events in the three data samples is(2712.4±14.3)×10~6.

Steel matrix composites(SMCs),reinforced by ceramic particles,have received a consistent attention in recent *** conventional methods to prepare SMCs is generally challenging,and the mechanical properties of conventionally fabricated SMCs are *** this study,we successfully fabricated highperformance SMCs by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)of a composite powder consisting of Fe-based alloy powder and submicron-sized wC *** effect of laser energy density on the phase formation,microstructural evolution,overall density and resulting mechanical properties of LPBF-fabricated composites was *** present results show that a novel Fe_(2)w_(4)C carbidic network precipitates in the solidified microstructure entailing segregations along the boundaries of cellular *** presence of this carbidic network hampers the growth of sub-grains even at elevated temperatures,and hence,stabilizes the grain size though prepared at a broad range of different energy *** exact distribution of the Fe_(2)w_(4)C carbides depends on the employed laser energy densities,as for instance they are more uniformly distributed at higher energy *** density of LPBF samples reaches the maximum value of 99.4%at 150 j/mm^(3).In this parameter set,high microhardness of~753 HV,compression strength of~3350 MPa and fracture strain of~24.4%are *** enhanced mechanical properties are ascribed to less metallurgical defects,higher volume fraction of the martensitic phase and increasing pile-up dislocations resulting from the pinning effect by Fe_(2)w_(4)C carbide.

In this study,plasma density measurements were performed near the plume region of the remote plasma source (RPS) in Ar/NF3 gas mixtures using a microwave cutoff *** measured plasma density is in the range of 1010-1011 cm-3 in the discharge conditions with RPS powers of 2-4 kw and gas pressures of 0.87-4 *** plasma density decreased with increasing gas pressures and RPS powers under various Ar/NF3 mixing *** decrease in the plasma density measured at the fixed measurement position (plume region) can be understood by the reduction of the electron energy relaxation length with increases in the gas pressures and mixing ratio of NF3/(Ar/NF3).we also performed downstream etching of silicon and silicon oxide films in this *** etch rate of the silicon films significantly increases while the silicon oxide is slightly etched with the gas pressures and *** was also found that the etch rate strongly depends on the wafer position on the processing chamber electrode,and that the etch selectivity reached 96-131 in the discharge conditions of RF powers (3730-4180 w) and gas pressures (3.6-4 Torr).
