5S-Heudelotinone alleviates experimental colitis by shaping the immune system and enhancing the intestinal barrier in a gut microbiota-dependent manner

Aberrant changes in the gut microbiota are implicated in many diseases,including inflammatory bowel disease(iBD).Gut microbes produce diverse metabolites that can shape the immune system and impact the intestinal barrier integrity,indicating that microbe-mediated modulation may be a promising strategy for preventing and treating *** fecal microbiota transplantation and probiotic supplementation are well-established iBD therapies,novel chemical agents that are safe and exert strong effects on the gut microbiota are urgently ***,we report the total synthesis of heudelotinone and the discovery of 5S-heudelotinone(an enantiomer)as a potent agent against experimental colitis that acts by modulating the gut microbiota.5S-Heudelotinone alters the diversity and composition of the gut microbiota and increases the concentration of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs);thus,it regulates the intestinal immune system by reducing proinflammatory immune cell numbers,and maintains intestinal mucosal integrity by modulating tight junctions(TJs).Moreover,5S-heudelotinone(2)ameliorates colitis-associated colorectal cancer(CAC)in an azoxymethane(AOM)/dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced in situ carcinoma ***,these findings reveal the potential of a novel natural product,namely,5S-heudelotinone,to control intestinal inflammation and highlight that this product is a safe and effective candidate for the treatment of iBD and CAC.

Previous studies have shown that low platelet count combined with high plasma total homocysteine(tHcy)increased stroke risk and can be lowered by 73% with folic ***,the combined role of other platelet activation parameters and the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR)C677T genotypes on stroke risk and folic acid treatment benefit remain to be *** study aimed to investigate if platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotypes jointly impact folic acid treatment efficacy in first stroke *** were derived from the China Stroke Primary Prevention *** study includes a total of 11,185 adult hypertensive patients with relevant platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotype *** simultaneously considering both platelet activation parameters(plateletcrit,platelet count,mean platelet volume,platelet distribution width)and MTHFR genotypes,patients with both low plateletcrit(Q1)and the TT genotype had the highest stroke incidence rate(5.6%)in the enalapril *** subgroup significantly benefited from folic acid treatment,with a 66% reduction in first stroke(HR:0.34;95%Ci:0.14-0.82;p=0.016).Consistently,the subgroup with low plateletcrit(Q1)and the CC/CT genotype also benefited from folic acid treatment(HR:0.40;95%Ci:0.23-0.70;p=0.001).in Chinese hypertensive adults,low plateletcrit can identify those who may greatly benefit from folic acid treatment,in particular,those with the TT genotype,a subpopulation known to have the highest stroke risk.

数智时代，面对大数据、大知识所带来的挑战，如何创新发展信息分析方法，关乎新时代信息分析工作的开展，关乎数据资源的开发利用。本文在梳理现有信息分析方法的基础上，提出数据驱动、知识驱动，以及数据与知识融合驱动的三种数智型方法思路。首先，提出基于文本、网络、音频、图像等的数据驱动以及与之相应的文本挖掘、图挖掘、音频挖掘、图像挖掘等信息分析模式；其次，提出基于专家知识库、通用知识库、领域知识图谱、通用知识图谱等的知识驱动信息分析模式；最后，提出基于特征、模型、决策三种层面的数据与知识融合驱动的信息分析模式。通过以上三种方法，构建能够系统融合大数据、大知识的信息分析方法，实现数智融合型信息分析，促进图书情报学科方法论发展，赋能国家决策和社会治理。图3。表1。参考文献59。

Exploring the Lagged Correlation Between Baidu index and influenza-Like illness-China,2014-2019

introduction:This study investigated the lagged correlation between Baidu index for influenza-related keywords and influenza-like illness percentage(iLi%)across regions in *** aim is to establish a scientific foundation for utilizing Baidu index as an early warning tool for influenza-like illness ***:in this study,data on iLi%and Baidu index were collected from 30 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)spanning April 2014 to March *** Baidu index was categorized into Overall index,Ordinary index,Prevention index,Symptom index,and Treatment index based on search query *** lagged correlation between the Baidu index and iLi%was examined through the cross-correlation function(CCF)***:Correlating the Baidu Overall index of 30 PLADs with iLi%revealed CCF values ranging from 0.46 to 0.86,with a median lag of 0.5 *** analysis indicated that the Prevention index and Symptom index exhibited quicker responses to iLi%,with median lags of−9 and−0.5 days,respectively,compared to 0 and 3 days for the Ordinary and Treatment *** median lag days between the Baidu index and the iLi%were earlier in the northern PLADs compared to the southern ***:The Prevention and Symptom indexes show promising predictive capabilities for influenzalike illness epidemics.

Silicon （Si） has mild discharge potential and high theoretical capacity,making it a highly desirable material for lithium-ion batteries （LiBs）.Nevertheless,the excessive volume expansion,poor ion/electron conductiv ity and unstable solid electrolyte interface （SEi） hinde practical application to ***,the metallic antimony（Sb） stabilized porous Si （SiDSb） composite was prepared by magnesiothermic reduction of Sb2O3and Mg2Si and chemical etching to remove the by-product of *** highly conductive Sb nanodots embedded in the Si liga ments promote not only the formation of conductive and stable LiF-rich SEi,but also the electron/ion transpor ability of *** to the outstanding bulk/interface stability,excellent conductivity,as well as ideal porous structure,the SiDSb electrode demonstrates a capacity of820 mAh·g-1after undergoing 320 turns at 1000 mA·***,it exhibits a stable capacity of 675 m Ah·g-1when tested at a higher current density of 5000 m A·*** results reveal a viable solution to solve three problems at the same time,namely the poor conductivity,inferior SEi and excessive volume expansion of Si,boding well for the design of Si-based materials for high-energy LiBs.

Plasma induced grain boundaries to boost electrochemical reduction of CO_(2)to formate

Bismuth-based catalysts are highly promising for the electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(eCO_(2)RR)to formate ***,achieving high activity and selectivity towards formate and ensuring long-term stability remains *** work reports the oxygen plasma inducing strategy to construct the abundant grain boundaries of Bi/BiO_x on ultrathin two-dimensional Bi *** oxygen plasma-treated Bi nanosheet(OP-Bi)exhibits over 90%Faradaic efficiency(FE)for formate at a wide potential range from-0.5 to-1.1 V,and maintains a great stability catalytic performance without significant decay over 30 h in flow ***,membrane electrode assembly(MEA)device with OPBi as catalyst sustains the robust current density of 100 mA cm^(-2)over 50 h,maintaining a formate FE above 90%.in addition,rechargeable Zn-CO_(2)battery presents the peak power density of1.22 mw cm^(-2)with OP-Bi as bifunctional *** mechanism experiments demonstrate that the high-density grain boundaries of OP-Bi provide more exposed active sites,faster electron transfer capacity,and the stronger intrinsic activity of Bi *** situ spectroscopy and theo retical calculations further elucidate that the unsaturated Bi coordination atoms between the grain boundaries can effectively activate CO_(2)molecules through elongating the C-O bond,and reducing the formation energy barrier of the key intermediate(^(*)OCOH),thereby enhancing the catalytic performance of eCO_(2)RR to formate product.

Dynamics of information diffusion and disease transmission in time-varying multiplex networks with asymmetric activity levels

w.ile the interaction between information and disease in static networks has been extensively investigated,many studies have ignored the characteristics of network *** this study,we construct a new two-layer coupling model to explore the interactions between information and *** upper layer describes the diffusion of disease-related information,and the lower layer represents the disease *** then use power-law distributions to examine the influence of asymmetric activity levels on dynamic propagation,revealing a mapping relationship characterizing the interconnected propagation of information and diseases among partial nodes within the ***,we derive the disease outbreak threshold by using the microscopic Markov-chain approach(MMCA).Finally,we perform extensive Monte Carlo(MC)numerical simulations to verify the accuracy of our theoretical *** findings indicate that the activity levels of individuals in the disease transmission layer have a more significant influence on disease transmission compared with the individual activity levels in the information diffusion ***,reducing the damping factor can delay disease outbreaks and suppress disease transmission,w.ile improving individual quarantine measures can contribute positively to disease *** study provides valuable insights into policymakers for developing outbreak prevention and control strategies.

Surface acoustic wave(SAw)resonators based on lithium tantalate(LT,LiTaO_(3))wafers are crucial elements of mobile communication *** use of intrinsic LT wafers typically brings about low fabrication accuracy of SAw resonators due to strong UV reflection in the lithography *** hinders their resonance frequency control seriously in industrial *** doping and chemical reduction could be applied to decrease the UV reflection of LT wafers for high lithographic ***,conventional methods fail to provide a fast and nondestructive approach to identify the UV performance of standard single-side polished LT wafers for highprecision frequency ***,we propose a convenient on-line sensing scheme based on the colorimetry of reduced Fe-doped LT wafers and build up an automatic testing system for industrial *** levels of Fe doping and chemical reduction are evaluated by the lightness and color difference of LT-based *** correlation between the wafer visible colorimetry and UV reflection is established to refine the lithography process and specifically manipulate the frequency performance of SAw *** study provides a powerful tool for the fabrication control of SAw resonators and will inspire more applications on sophisticated devices of mobile communication.

Boosting Electrochemical Urea Synthesis via Constructing Ordered Pd–Zn Active Pair

Electrochemical co-reduction of nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))has been widely regarded as a promising route to produce urea under ambient conditions,however the yield rate of urea has remained ***,we report an atomically ordered intermetallic pallium-zinc(PdZn)electrocatalyst comprising a high density of PdZn pairs for boosting urea *** is found that Pd and Zn are responsible for the adsorption and activation of NO_(3)^(-)and CO_(2),respectively,and thus the co-adsorption and co-activation NO_(3)^(-)and CO_(2) are achieved in ordered PdZn *** importantly,the ordered and well-defined PdZn pairs provide a dual-site geometric structure conducive to the key C-N coupling with a low kinetical barrier,as demonstrated on both operando measurements and theoretical ***,the PdZn electrocatalyst displays excellent performance for the co-reduction to generate urea with a maximum urea Faradaic efficiency of 62.78%and a urea yield rate of 1274.42μg mg^(-1) h^(-1),and the latter is 1.5-fold larger than disordered pairs in PdZn *** work paves new pathways to boost urea electrosynthesis via constructing ordered dual-metal pairs.
