Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (TREM-1) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. As an amplifier of the inflammatory response, TREM-1 is mainly involved in the production of inflammatory mediators and the regulation of cell survival. TREM-1 has been studied in infectious diseases and more recently in non-infectious disorders. More and more studies have shown that TREM-1 plays an important pathogenic role in kidney diseases. There is evidence that TREM-1 can not only be used as a biomarker for diagnosis of disease but also as a potential therapeutic target to guide the development of novel therapeutic agents for kidney disease. This review summarized molecular biology of TREM-1 and its signaling pathways as well as immune response in the progress of acute kidney injury, renal fibrosis, diabetic nephropathy, immune nephropathy, and renal cell carcinoma.

Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty on Complex Hips Conditions in a Low-Resource Setting

introduction: Total hip arthroplasty of complex morphology is a challenge for the orthopaedic surgeon. Careful analysis of the hip’s anatomy helps to unravel the difficulties and anticipate the procedures to be performed and the implants to be planned. The aim was to identify the types of hip that make first-line THR difficult, specify the technical procedures to be used on these sites, and assess the functional results of the series. Material and Methods: This was a retrospective study that concerned patients operated on for total hip arthroplasty between January 2015 and December 2022 at the medical center “La Grâce” in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. Patients with coxarthrosis (on hip dysplasia, acetabular protrusio, acetabular malunion or neurological hip) and those with ankylosis of the hip, osteonecrosis secondary to neglected dislocation of the hip or hemoglobinopathy were included. Results: A total of 31 total hip replacements were performed in 30 patients. The mean age of patients at the surgery time was 36.2 years with extremes of 17 and 61 years. The male-to-female sex ratio was 1. The main indications for THA were the dysplasic hip osteoarthritis (11 cases) and the neglected hip dislocations (7 cases). in situ femoral neck osteotomy before hip dislocation was performed in seven cases. The acetabulum reconstruction techniques varied from the structural iliac bone graft (n = 3) and cancellous bone graft (n = 4) to the Kerboull plate (n = 1). After 45 months of mean follow-up, all hips were evaluated. The mean PMA score increased from 7.1 [4 - 8] before the surgery to 13.2 [13 - 17]. Conclusion: The large spectrum of challenges in complex hip management requires effective preoperative planning. Preoperative planning minimizes complications and ensures a better outcome.

Background:Skeletal muscle energetics decline with age,and physical activity(PA)has been shown to offset these declines in older ***,many studies reporting these effects were based on self-reported PA or structured exercise ***,we examined the associations of accelerometry-measured and self-reported PA and sedentary behavior(SB)with skeletal muscle energetics and explored the extent to w.ich PA and sedentary behavior would attenuate the associations of age with muscle ***:As part of the Study of Muscle,Mobility and Aging,enrolled older adults(n=879),810(age=76.4±5.0 years old,mean±SD;58%women)had maximal muscle oxidative capacity measured ex vivo via high-resolution re spirometry of permeabilized myofibers(maximal oxidative phosphorylation(maxOXPHOS))and in vivo by ^(31)phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy(maximal adenosine triphosphate(ATP_(max))).Accelerometry-measured sedentary behavior,light activity,and moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA)were assessed using a w.ist-worn ActiGraph GT9X over 7 ***-reported sedentary behavior,MVPA,and all PA were assessed with the Community Healthy Activities Model Program for Seniors(CHAMPS)*** regression models with progressive covariate adjustments evaluated the associations of sedentary behavior and PA with muscle energetics,as well as the attenuation of the age/muscle energetics association by MVP A and sedentary *** a sensitivity analysis,we also examined activPAL-measured daily step count and time spent in sedentary behavior and their associations with muscle ***:Every 30 min/day more of ActiGraph-measured MVPA was associated with 0.65 pmol/(s×mg)higher maxOXPHOS and 0.012 mM/s higher ATP_(max)after adjusting for age,site/technician,and sex(pight activity was not associated with maxOXPHOS or ATP_(max).Meanw.ile,every 30 min/day spent in ActiGraph-measured sedentary behavior was associated with 0.39 pmol/s×mg lower maxOXPHOS and0.

This paper reviews the various control algorithms and strategies used for fixed-w.ng morphing aircraft applications. it is evident from the literature that the development of control algorithms for morphing aircraft technologies focused on three main areas. The first area is related to precise control of the shape of morphing concepts for various flight conditions. The second area is mainly related to the flight dynamics, stability, and control aspects of morphing aircraft. The third area deals mainly with aeroelastic control using morphing concepts either for load alleviation purposes and/or to control the instability boundaries. The design of controllers for morphing aircraft/w.ngs is very challenging due to the large changes that can occur in the structural, aerodynamic, and inertial characteristics. in addition, the type of actuation system and actuation rate/speed can have a significant effect on the design of such controllers. The aerospace community is in strong need of such a critical review especially as morphing aircraft technologies move from fundamental research at a low Technology Readiness Level(TRL) to real-life applications. This critical review aims to identify research gaps and propose future directions. in this paper, research activities/papers are categorized according to the control strategy used. This ranges from simple Proportional integral Derivative(PiD) controllers at one end to complex robust adaptive controllers and deep learning algorithms at the other end. This includes analytical, computational, and experimental studies. in addition, the various dynamic models used and their fidelities are highlighted and discussed.

中药产业对公众健康和经济增长都至关重要。根据欧盟（EU）指令，在欧盟（传统）草药制品框架下，具有较长使用历史的草药可在欧盟注册。然而，本指令中有一条件，即只有在欧盟市场上至少有10-15年使用历史的草药才能被注册和/或获得上市许可。作者认为，在欧盟监管框架内设定的在欧盟国家有10-15年使用历史的条件考虑了基因差异，基因差异可能导致不同世界人群的药物不良反应发生变化。考虑到这一概念，借鉴欧盟指令的主要内容到亚洲国家这些中药起源国是合理的。中国、新加坡、日本和韩国等国拥有完善的药品注册框架，最能够执行最佳实践和促进统一的区域内中药注册程序。此外，注册过程本身也允许在制品注册/上市许可前后系统地收集更多的安全性和有效性数据。这些都是未来药物开发的宝贵信息。中药的治疗价值是无限的，它被排除在欧盟的监管框架之外，在欧盟监管框架下有注册资格的中药数量有限，这限制了中药在现代药物中扩大使用范围和发扬光大的机会。在亚洲国家中尽早建立统一的基于风险的中药注册程序非常重要。这将强化数据库，以证实中药安全使用的历史，并进一步在亚洲地区内外保存和发扬中医的治疗价值。

Neutron-rich P,Cl,and K isotopes,particularly those with neutron numbers of approximately N=28,have attracted extensive experimental and theoretical *** utilize the ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group approach,based on chiral nucleon-nucleon and three-nucleon forces,to investigate the exotic properties of these *** calculations of the low-lying spectra are performed.A key finding is the level inversion between 3/2^(+)_(1)and 1/2^(+)_(1)states in odd-A isotopes,attributed to the inversion ofπ0xod3/2 andπls1/2 single-particle *** ab initio calculations,w.ich incorporate the three-nucleon forces,correlate closely with existing experimental *** calculations of effective proton single-particle energies provide deeper insights into the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 *** results indicate that the three-body force plays important roles in the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 sub-shells with neutron numbers ranging from 20 to ***,systematic ab initio calculations are conducted for the low-lying spectra of odd-odd *** results correspond with experimental data and provide new.insights for future research into these isotopes up to and beyond the drip line.

introduction: Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are a diagnostic and therapeutic emergency. Objective: Studying the feasibility, difficulties and results of coronary angioplasty in acute coronary syndromes at the Luxembourg Mother-Child University Hospital in Bamako. Patients and Methods: Cross-sectional, descriptive study with prospective recruitment over 18 months from September 2020 to February 2022. All patients aged at least 18 years old admitted for SCA and having undergone PCi during the study period were included. Result: we collected 249 patients for SCA, of whom 160 underwent angioplasty, either an angioplasty/SCA ratio of 0.64. The average age of the patients was 59.54 ± 11.62 with extremes of 32 and 92 years. The age group of 45 to 65 years was the most representative. The predominance was male, sex ratio of 2.4. The main cardiovascular risk factors were high blood pressure (58.23%) and diabetes (45.78%). Persistent ST-segment elevation on the electrocardiogram was present in 71.48%. The treatment time was more than 12 hours after the first medical contact in 95.5%. The approach was radial in 96.5% of cases. Coronarography was pathological in 91.16% of our patients. The lesions were tri-truncular in 34.13% with the anterior inter ventricular as culprit artery in 72% of cases. The majority of patients (64%) had undergone angioplasty with implantation of an active stent. Angioplasty was performed successfully in 98% and per procedural mortality was 1.87%. Only 6.45% of ACS with ST elevation benefited from primary angioplasty. Conclusion: Percutaneous coronary intervention is performed routinely in our center with satisfactory results. Difficulties exist, related to the diagnostic delay of ACS and the high cost of angioplasty.

发展服务型制造、推动生产性服务和制造业融合是供给侧结构性改革的战略选择。从京津沪渝四个直辖市和粤鲁苏浙四个较为发达省份综合来看,制造业与生产性服务业之间存在着一定的关联效应和协同发展趋势,同时存在省市之间、行业之间的分异特征,且生产性服务业整体规模还与工业发展需求不相适应,表现在规模上其对工业的前向关联效应较弱。当然,近期呈现出生产性服务业在增长速度上与工业增速高度相关的发展态势。为更好实现生产性服务业与制造业融合协同发展,我国在服务业供给侧结构性改革进程中要转变制造业和服务业传统“二分法”思维,确立生产性服务业优先发展地位,着力推进研发性服务业高质量发展、坚守健康底线推进环保等高增长领域先行发展和坚持规模化导向推进商务服务业发展。
