A facility and method for109 Cd radionuclide-induced energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescent(eDXRF) were developed to determine the Fe,Zn,br,Rb,and Sr concentrations in the specimens of human prostatic *** of expressed prostatic fluid were obtained from 51 men(mean age 51 years,range 18–82 years) with apparently normal prostates using standard rectal massage *** values(M ± SeL) for concentration of trace elements(mg L^(-1)) in human prostate fluid were:Fe 9.04 ±1.21,Zn 573 ± 35,br 3.58 ± 0.59,Rb 1.10 ± 0.08,and Sr b *** was shown that the results of trace element analysis in the micro-samples(20 l L) are sufficiently representative for assessment of the Fe,Zn,br,and Rb concentration in the prostate *** facility for109 Cd radionuclide-induced eDXRF is comparatively compact and can be located in close proximity to the site of carrying out the massage *** means of Zn and Rb concentration obtained for prostate fluid agree well with median of reported *** the first time,the Fe and br concentrations,as well as the upper limit of the Sr concentration,were determined in the human prostate fluid.

The current research is devoted to the study of the modification of the titanium implants by the micro-arc oxidation with bioactive calcium phosphate coatings containing Ag or Sr and Si *** coatings’microstructure,phase composition,morphology,physicochemical and biological properties were examined by scanning electron microscopy(SeM),transmission electron microscopy(TeM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(eDX)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).Ag-containing and Sr-Si-incorporated coatings were formed in alkaline and acid electrolytes,*** formation of the coatings occurred at different ranges of the applied voltages,which led to the significant difference in the coatings *** trace elements Ag,Sr and Si participated intensively in the plasma-chemical reactions of the micro-arc coatings ***-containing coatings demonstrated strong antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus AТСС*** in vitro test with 3T3-L1 fibroblasts showed no cytotoxicity appearance on Sr-Si-incorporated coatings.

In this review,we tried to systematize all the evidence(from PubMed[MeDLINe],Scopus,Cochrane Library,ebSCO,embase,and Google Scholar)from 1993 to 2021 on the predictors of microsurgical varicocelectomy efficacy in male infertility *** the outcomes of varicocele repair,we considered semen improvement and pregnancy and analyzed them *** on the 2011 Oxford CebM Levels of evidence,we assigned a score to each trial that studied the role of the *** systematized the studied predictors based on the total points,which were,in turn,calculated based on the number and quality of studies that confirmed or rejected the studied predictor as significant,into three levels of significance:predictors of high,moderate,and low clinical *** total motile sperm count(TMSC)coupled with sperm concentration can be a significant predictor of semen improvement and pregnancy after *** addition,for semen improvement alone,scrotal Doppler ultrasound(DUS)parameters,sperm DNA fragmentation index(DFI),and bilateral varicocelectomy are reliable predictors of microsurgical varicocelectomy efficacy.

On the radiative and thermodynamic properties of the cosmic radiations using CObe FIRAS instrument data: Ⅲ. Galactic far-infrared radiation

Using the three-component spectral model describing the FIRAS average continuum spectra, the exact analytical expressions for thermodynamic and radiative functions of Galactic far-infrared radiation are obtained. The CObe FIRAS instrument data in the 0.15-2.88 THz frequency interval at the mean temperatures of T1= 17.72 K, T2= 14 K and T3= 6.73 K are used for calculating the radiative and thermodynamic functions, such as the total radiation power per unit area, total energy density, total emissivity, number density of photons, Helmholtz free energy density, entropy density, heat capacity at constant volume and pressure for the warm,intermediate-temperature and very cold components of the Galactic continuum spectra. The generalized Stefan-boltzmann law for warm, intermediate-temperature and very cold components is constructed. The temperature dependence of each component is determined by the formula IS-b（T） = σ′ T6. This result is important when we construct the cosmological models of radiative transfer that can be applied inside the Galaxy. Within the framework of the three-component spectral model, the total number of photons in our Galaxy and the total radiation power（total luminosity） emitted from a surface of the Galaxy are calculated. Their values are N6Gtotal= 1.3780 × 108 and I3Gtotal（T） = 1.0482 × 106 W. Other radiative and thermodynamic properties of the Galactic far-infrared radiation（photon gas） of the Galaxy are calculated. The expressions for astrophysical parameters, such as the entropy density/boltzmann constant and number density of the Galactic far-infrared photons are obtained. We assume that the obtained analytical expressions for thermodynamic and radiative functions may be useful for describing the continuum spectra of the far-infrared radiation for other galaxies.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the resolution of brain lesions in patients with Wilson’s disease during the long-term chelating therapy using magnetic resonance imaging and a possible signiifcance of the time latency between the initial symptoms of the disease and the introduction of this therapy. Initial magnetic resonance examination was performed in 37 patients with proven neurological form of Wilson’s disease with cerebellar, parkinsonian and dystonic presentation. Magnetic resonance reexamination was done 5.7 ± 1.3 years later in 14 patients. Patients were divided into： group A, where chelating therapy was initiated 〈 24 months from the ifrst symp-toms and group b, where the therapy started≥ 24 months after the initial symptoms. Symmetry of the lesions was seen in 100% of patients. There was a signiifcant difference between groups A and b regarding complete resolution of brain stem and putaminal lesions （P= 0.005 andP=0.024, respectively）. If the correct diagnosis and adequate treatment are not established less than 24 months after onset of the symptoms, irreversible lesions in the brain parenchyma could be ex-pected. Signal abnormalities on magnetic resonance imaging might therefore, at least in the early stages, represent reversible myelinolisis or cytotoxic edema associated with copper toxicity.

Aerophobetes （or CD12） is a recently defined bacterial phylum, of which the metabolic processes and ecological importance remain unclear. In the present study, we obtained the draft genome of an Aerophobetes bac- terium TCSI from saline sediment near the Thuwal cold seep in the Red Sea using a genome binning method. Analysis of 16S rRNA genes of TCS1 and close relatives revealed wide distribution of Aerophobetes in deep-sea sediments. Phylogenetic relationships showed affinity between Aerophobetes TCS 1 and some thermophilic bac- terial phyla. The genome of TCS1 （at least 1.27 Mbp） contains a full set of genes encoding core metabolic path- ways, including glycolysis and pyruvate fermentation to produce acetyl-CoA and acetate. The identification of cross-membrane sugar transporter genes further indicates its potential ability to consume carbohydrates preserved inthe sediment under the microbial mat. Aerophobetes bac- terium TCS1 therefore probably carried out saccharolytic and fermentative metabolism. The genes responsible for autotrophic synthesis of acetyl-CoA via the Wood-Ljung- dahl pathway were also found in the genome. Phylogenetic study of the essential genes for the Wood-Ljungdahl pathway implied relative independence of Aerophobetes bacterium from the known acetogens and methanogens. Compared with genomes of acetogenic bacteria, Aero- phobetes bacterium TCS 1 genome lacks the genes involved in nitrogen metabolism, sulfur metabolism, signal trans- duction and cell motility. The metabolic activities of TCS 1 might depend on geochemical conditions such as supplies of CO2, hydrogen and sugars, and therefore the TCSI might be a facultative bacterium in anaerobic saline sedi- ments near cold seeps.

We employ a two-ion model to calculate the spontaneous magnetization and susceptibility of TbNi2b2C with the mean-field theory, and derive an analytic formula for the Néel temperature of the material with the perturbation theory. In both the cases, only the four lowest crystal-electric-field （CeF） states are taken into account as base functions. Our theoretical results are consistent with the experimental data, manifesting the strong effects of the low lying CeF states on the magnetic behaviors of the material and the suitability of the theoretical approach proposed here.

Rhombohedral phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from 0 to 1)films are promising for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is normally the case for the more commonly studied orthorhombic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed in rhombohedral films is not fully understood,and there are also large discrepancies between experimental and theoretical *** this work,in rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experimentally through the investigation of the structural properties,chemical composition and the ferroelectric properties of the films before and after an annealing at moderate temperature(400℃)in an oxygen environment to reduce the V_(o)concentration *** experimental work is supported by density functional theory(DFT)calculations which show that the rhombohedral phase is the most stable one in highly oxygen defective ZrO_(2)*** DFT calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** findings reveal the importance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films with superior ferroelectric properties.

Multiferroic materials attracted a lot of attention in recent years because of their significant scientific interest and technological applications. The multiferroic core/shell powders have a better connectivity between the phases, resulting in superior dielectric and magneto electric properties. In this study, the influence of preparation condition on structure and properties of baTiO_3/α-Fe_2 O_3 core/shell composite materials was examined. The five samples were obtained by varying synthesis conditions, such as synthesized method(co-precipitation and sonochemical method) and pH values of solution. XRD and Raman spectroscopy analyses were performed in order to determine phase composition and structural changes within samples. Morphology modifications were examined by SeM and eDS analyses. Finally, effect of structural and microstructural changes on magnetic and electrical properties was detected and explained.
