A series of mononuclear complexes and unsymmetric dinuclear alkynylplatinum(II)terpyridine complexes with oligo(paraphenylene ethynylene)(OPE)-derived backbone with a variation of the lengths of alkoxy chains and OPE backbones was *** morphological properties,packing lattice and gelation behaviors of the mononuclear complexes were systematically studied,and the thermodynamic parameters and packing lattices of the dinuclear complexes were also investigated,providing further insights into the roles of the non-covalent interactions and their delicate balance in constructing sophisticated supramolecular *** and nanotube formation have been observed upon a delicate control of the intermolecular interactions by altering the lengths and structural dimensions of the complexes.

Our present study demonstrated and explored the solvent effects on the association mechanism of the supramolecular nanomaterials in a series of cyclo-tetrasiloxane-appended alkynylplatinum(II)terpyri-dine *** the delicate balance of molecular interactions,some of these complexes were found to exhibit molecular association prop-erties,with possible morphological transformation in response to solvent polarities.

A class of benzo[b]phosphole-based alkynylgold(I)complexes has been synthesized and *** complexes share a similar benzo-[b]phosphole ligand,in which the phosphole moiety is substituted with variousπ-conjugated units with different donor strengths,namely phenoxazinylphenyl,tris(di-tert-butylcarbazolyl)phenyl and 2,4-dimethylphenyl *** phosphole-containing gold(I)complexes are found to be strongly luminescent in toluene with tunable emission maxima and possess solvatochromic behaviors,suggesting an emission of metal-perturbed intraligand charge transfer *** voltammetry studies reveal that the presence of gold(I)metal center strongly perturbs the electronic properties of the phosphole moiety of the resultant complexes,which can be further finetuned by the auxiliary ligand on the gold(I)*** the resistive memory studies,devices based on these alkynylgold(I)complexes exhibit satisfactory binary memory behaviors,demonstrating low threshold voltages in narrow distributions,high durability and low misreading *** performances are believed to be originated from a field-induced charge transfer of the alkynylgold(I)complexes,in which the electron-accepting phosphole-gold(I)unit plays a crucial role in stabilizing the charge transfer state and that led to the observed resistive switching and memory behavior.

Square-planar platinum(Ⅱ)complexes have attracted much attention in recent years due to their intriguing spectroscopic and photophysical behaviors arising from the diversity of the metal-ligand *** platinum(Ⅱ)N^C^N complexes due to the strongerσ-donating effect shows strong luminescence *** a different aspect of their solid-state properties,square-planar platinum(Ⅱ)complexes have been explored to construct ***,we synthesized new series of cyclometalated platinum(Ⅱ)complexes of N^C^N ligands,where N^C^N=1,3-bis(1-n-alkylpyrazol-3-yl)benzene(bpzb),namely,[Pt(bpzb)Cl](1 and 2)and[Pt(bpzb)(C≡C-R)](3-10)(R=CH,CH-OCH-p,CH-NO-p,CH-NH-p,4-cholesteryl phenyl carbamate,and cholesteryl methylcarbamate).Two of the platinum(Ⅱ)complexes were structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography,and short intermolecular C-H···Pt contacts were ***-structured emission bands originating from triplet IL(IL)excited states of the bpzb ligands with mixing of some MLCT[dπ(Pt)→π*(bpzb)]character were observed in solution ***,complex 5 with p-nitrophenylacetylene ligand shows a low-energy emission that is derived from the involvement of the p-nitrophenylethynyl *** 9 with hydrophobic cholesteryl 4-ethynylphenyl carbamate ligand was found to form stable metallogels in several organic solvents,which are responsive to mechanical sonication and thermal stimuli and show circular dichroism activity.
