Li.tle i. known about the eti.logy of PBC. PBC i. characteri.ed by anti.mi.ochondri.l anti.odi.s and destructi.n of i.trahepati. bi.e ducts. The serologi. hallmark of PBC i. the presence of auto-anti.odi.s to mi.ochondri., especi.lly to the E2 component of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC). Current theori.s on the pathogenesi. of PBC favor the hypothesi. that the di.ease develops as a result of an i.appropri.te i.mune response followi.g sti.ulati.n by an envi.onmental or i.fecti.us agent. Some reports suggest that xenobi.ti.s and vi.al i.fecti.ns may i.duce PBC. The pathogeneti. mechani.m i. beli.ved to be caused by a defect i. i.munologi. tolerance, resulti.g i. the acti.ati.n and expansi.n of self-anti.en speci.i. T and B lymphocyte clones and the producti.n of ci.culati.g autoanti.odi.s i. addi.i.n to a myri.d of cytoki.es and other i.flammatory medi.tors. Nearly half of the global populati.n are carri.rs of Heli.obacter pylori.H. pylori.,a Gram-negati.e bacteri.m that persi.ts i. the healthy human stomach. H. pylori.can be a pathogen and causes development of pepti. ulcer di.ease i. a certai. state of the macroorgani.m. i. i. well establi.hed that H. pylori.i.fecti.n i. the mai. cause of chroni. gastri.i. and pepti. ulcer di.ease(PUD). Decontami.ati.n of the gastri. mucosa wi.h vari.us anti.i.ti.s leads to H. pylori.eli.i.ati.n and longer remi.si.n i. thi. di.ease. However,the reasons for repeated detecti.n of H. pylori.i. recurrent PUD after i.s successful eradi.ati.n remai. unclear. The reason for the redetecti.n of H. pylori.i. recurrent PUD can be ei.her rei.fecti.n or i.effecti.e anti.Heli.obacter therapy. The admi.i.trati.n of anti.acteri.l drugs can lead not only to the emergence of resi.tant strai.s of mi.roorgani.ms,but also contri.ute to the conversi.n of H. pylori.i.to the resti.g(dormant) state. The dormant forms of H. pylori.have been shown to play a potenti.l role i. the development of relapses of PUD. The paper di.cusses morphologi.al H. pylori.forms,such as S-shaped,C-shaped,U-shaped,and coccoi. ones. The authors proposes the classi.i.ati.n of H. pylori.accordi.g to i.s morphologi.al forms and vi.bi.i.y.

BACKGROUND: Vi.al repli.ati.n i. blood cells wi.h nucleases may lead to the damage of lymphocytes geneti. apparatus and the begi.ni.g of i.munopathologi.al reacti.ns. Ai.: Of thi. i.vesti.ati.n i. to reveal the damage to peri.heral blood lymphocytes (PBL) DNA i. the pati.nts wi.h chroni. li.er di.eases. MATERi.LS AND METHODS: Si.teen-ni.e pati.nts wi.h chroni. li.er di.eases (37 pati.nts wi.h chroni. vi.al hepati.i., 2 pati.nts wi.h li.er ci.rhosi. of mi.ed eti.logy (alcohol+vi.us G), 30 women wi.h pri.ary bi.i.ry ci.rhosi.-PBC) were exami.ed. The condi.i.n of DNA structure of PBL was measured by the fluorescence analysi. of DNA unwi.di.g (FADU) techni.ue wi.h modi.i.ati.n. Changes of fluorescence (i. %) reflected the DNA di.tracti.ns degree (the presence of DNA si.gle-stranded breaks and alkali.elabi.e si.hts). RESULTS AND CONCLUSi.N: The quanti.y of DNA si.gle-stranded breaks and alkali.elabi.e si.hts i. DNA i. all pati.nts wi.h chroni. vi.al hepati.i. di.n't di.fer from the control group, excludi.g the pati.nts wi.h chroni. hepati.i. (CH) C+G. Pati.nts wi.h HGV and TTV monoi.fecti.n had demonstrated the i.crease of the DNA si.gle-stranded breaks PBL quanti.y. Thi. fact may be connected wi.h hypothesi. about the vi.uses repli.ati.n i. whi.e blood cells di.cussed i. the li.erature. Tendency to i.crease quanti.y of DNA PBL damages i. the pati.nts wi.h pri.ary bi.i.ry ci.rhosi. (PBC) accordi.gly to the alkali.e phosphatase acti.i.y i.crease was revealed. Si.ni.i.ant decrease of the DNA si.gle-stranded breaks and alkali.elabi.e si.hts i. the PBC pati.nts that were treated wi.h predni.one was demonstrated. Probably, the tendency to i.crease the quanti.y of DNA si.gle stranded breaks and alkali.elabi.e si.hts i. lymphocytes of the PBC pati.nts was depended on the surplus of the blood bi.e aci. content.

G vi.us (HGV), di.closed i. the late 1990s, has been rather well studi.d. Analysi. of many studi.s deali.g wi.h HGV mai.ly suggests the lymphotropi.i.y of thi. vi.us. HGV or GBV-C has been ascertai.ed to i.fluence course and prognosi. i. the Hi.-i.fected pati.nt. Unti. now, the frequent presence of GBV-C i. coi.fecti.ns, hematologi.al di.eases, and bi.i.ry pathology gi.es no grounds to determi.e i. as an "acci.ental touri.t" that i. of no si.ni.i.ance. The si.i.ari.y i. properti.s of GBV-C and hepati.i. C vi.us (HCV) offers the possi.i.i.y of usi.g HGV, and i.s i.duced experi.ental i.fecti.n, as a model to study hepati.i. METHODS： Experi.ents were conducted on 146 nonli.ear whi.e male rats wei.hi.g 200-350 g. Parti.l cri.i.al i.testi.al i.chemi. was i.duced by thorough atraumati. strangulati.n of 5-6 cm jejunal loop wi.h i.s mesentery for 90 rai.. Global cri.i.al i.testi.al i.chemi. was made by atraumati. occlusi.n of the crani.l mesenteri. artery （CMA） for 90 rai. also. Perftoran （PF, 0.8-1.0 mL per 100 g） i. experi.ental groups or 0.9% sodi.m chlori.e i. control groups was i.jected at 75 rai. of i.chemi. peri.d. Mean systemi. arteri.l blood pressure （BPM） regi.trati.n, i.travi.al mi.roscopy and morphologi.al exami.ati.n of i.chemi. i.testi.e and i.s mesentery were performed i. both groups. RESULTS： Duri.g 90 mi. of reperfusi.n, BPM progressi.ely decreased to 27.3±7.4% after PF admi.i.trati.n vs 38.6±8.0% i. the control group of rats wi.h parti.l i.testi.al i.chemi. （NS） and to 50.3±6.9% vs 53.1±5.8% i. rats after global i.chemi. （NS）. Duri.g the reperfusi.n peri.d, full restorati.n of mi.roci.culati.n was never regi.tered; parts wi.h restored blood flow had leukocyte and erythrocyte stasi. and i.tra-vascular clotti.g, a typi.al ＂non-reflow＂phenomenon. The reducti.n of mesenteri. 50-400 μm feedi.g artery di.meter was si.ni.i.antly less i. the PF group than i. the control group （24±5.5% vs 45.2±3.6%, P〈0.05） 5 mi. after parti.l i.testi.al i.chemi.. Thi. decrease progressed but di.ferences between groups mi.i.i.ed at the 90th mi. of reperfusi.n （41.5±4.2% and 50.3±2.8%, respecti.ely）. i. reperfusi.n of rat＇s i.testi.e, a si.ni.i.ant mucosal alterati.n was regi.tered. Vi.lous hei.ht decreased 2.5-3 ti.es and the quanti.y of crypts decreased more than twi.e. i. the group of rats admi.i.tered PF, i.testi.al mucosal layer was protected from i.reversi.le post-i.chemi. derangement duri.g reperfusi.n. Saved cryptal epi.heli.l cells were the source of regenerati.n of the epi.heli.m
