Due to the expected rise in the world population,an increase in the requirements for quality and safety of food and feed is expected,which leads to the growing demand for new sources of sustainable and renewable *** protein is gaining importance as a renewable material for several reasons,reﬂecting its potential contribu-tions to sustainability,resource efﬁciency,and environmental *** insect species are known to be able to efﬁciently convert organic waste into high-value products such as protein,requiring less land and water compared to traditional *** addition,insect farming produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions,contri-buting to mitigating climate *** are considered as a major potential alternative to animal or plant protein due to their many nutritional beneﬁts,including high protein,mineral,and vitamin *** average,the protein content of insects ranges between 35%and 60%dry weight,which exceeds plant protein sources,such as cereal,soybeans,and *** the acceptance of insect protein grows and technologies advance,the food and feed industries continue to explore and expand their applications,offering consumers diverse and sustainable pro-tein *** this review,we discuss the recentﬁndings relating to insect protein focusing on its characteristics,extraction methods,applications,and opportunities along with some trade-offs and uncertainties.

The terahertz band,a unique segment of the electromagnetic spectrum,is crucial for observing the cold,dark universe and plays a pivotal role in cutting-edge scientific research,including the study of cosmic environments that support life and imaging black ***-sensitivity superconductor–insulator–superconductor(SIS)mixers are essential detectors for terahertz astronomical telescopes and interferometric *** to the commonly used classical Nb/AlO_(x)/Nb superconducting tunnel junction,the Nb/AlN/NbN hybrid superconducting tunnel junction has a higher energy gap voltage and can achieve a higher critical current *** makes it particularly promising for the development of ultra-wideband,high-sensitivity coherent detectors or mixers in various scientific research *** this paper,we present a superconducting SIS mixer based on Nb/AlN/NbN parallel-connected twin junctions(PCTJ),which has a bandwidth extending up to490 gHz–720 *** best achieved double-sideband(DSB)noise temperature(sensitivity)is below three times the quantum noise level.

A Mueller matrix covers all the polarization information of the measured sample,however the combination of its 16 elements is sometimes not intuitive enough to describe and identify the key characteristics of polarization *** the Poincarésphere system,this study achieves a spatial representation of the Mueller matrix:the global-Polarization Stokes Ellipsoid(gPSE).With the help of Monte Carlo simulations combined with anisotropic tissue models,three basic characteristic parameters of gPSE are proposed and explained,where the V parameter represents polarization maintenance ability,and the E and D†parameters represent the degree of ***,based on gPSE system,a dynamic analysis of skeletal muscle dehydration process demonstrates the monitoring efect of gPSE from an application perspective,while confrming its robustness and accuracy.

Among electromagnetic methods of short-term earthquake prediction,an approach is being actively developed based on the phenomenon of magnetic ultra-low-frequency(ULF)power depression occurring a few days before an *** particular,a nighttime geomagnetic power depression in the band 0.03-0.05 Hz was observed approximately 5 days before the catastrophic Tohoku 2011 *** verify the reliability of this method,we performed an extended analysis using data from magnetometer arrays JMA,MAgDAS,PWINg,and *** selected stations included sites close to the epicenter(grated spectral power of nighttime magnetic noise decreased significantly from March 6-9,several days before the ***,such variations occur simultaneously not only at nearby stations but also at distant *** this event,the ULF power depression was caused by low global geomagnetic activity,as evidenced by the planetary index ***,the depression of geomagnetic ULF noise cannot be considered a reliable short-term precursor.

Cluster Analysis of the Roma-BZCAT Blazars

Based on the collected multiwavelength data, namely in the radio(NVSS, FIRST, RATAN-600), IR(WISE),optical(Pan-STARRS), UV(gALEX), and X-ray(ROSAT, Swift-XRT) ranges, we have performed a cluster analysis for the blazars of the Roma-BZCAT catalog. Using two machine learning methods, namely a combination of PCA with k-means clustering and Kohonen's self-organizing maps(SOMs), we have constructed an independent classification of the blazars(five classes) and compared the classes with the known Roma-BZCAT classification(FSRQs, BL Lacs, galaxy-dominated BL Lacs, and blazars of an uncertain type) as well as with the high synchrotron peaked(HSP) blazars from the 3HSP catalog and blazars from the TeVCat catalog. The obtained groups demonstrate concordance with the BL Lac/FSRQ classification along with a continuous character of the change in the properties. The group of HSP blazars stands out against the overall distribution. We examine the characteristics of the five groups and demonstrate distinctions in their spectral energy distribution shapes. The effectiveness of the clustering technique for objective analysis of multiparametric arrays of experimental data is demonstrated.

In this work,comprehensive studies of 2,4-dinitroanisole(2,4DNAN)were carried out using powder thermorentgenography of the internal *** time of the complete polymorphic transition in the solid phase b/a in 2,4DNAN under various combinations of conditions has been *** has been established that,regardless of the season of manufacture of the substance,when it is stored for 8e9 months,with a change in ambient temperature from minus 30℃ to plus 30℃,a complete polymorphic transition b/a *** stored in conditions below minus 5℃,polymorphic transition does not *** stored in conditions above plus 30℃ in a closed container,polymorphic transition occurs within 3 *** polymorphic transition is accompanied by a decrease in density by 1.3%e1.5%and an increase in melting temperature by 10-12℃,depending on the degree of purity of the starting *** activation energy of the molecular rearrangement was 68e70 kJ/mol(16.5±3 kcal/mol).The mechanism of polymorphic transition has been evaluated,which is presumably based on internal homodiffusion and energy transfer to the surface of the mass of powder particles and the *** average activation energy of the polymorphic transition process was 110±6.2 kJ/mol(26.2 kcal/mol).In an open container,reactions proceed by a homogeneous mechanism,and in a closed container by a heterogeneous mechanism involving the gas phase.

Spherically Symmetric Problem of general Relativity for a Fluid Sphere

The paper is devoted to a spherically symmetric problem of general Relativity (gR) for a fluid sphere. The problem is solved within the framework of a special geometry of the Riemannian space induced by gravitation. According to this geometry, the four-dimensional Riemannian space is assumed to be Euclidean with respect to the space coordinates and Riemannian with respect to the time coordinate. Such interpretation of the Riemannian space allows us to obtain complete set of gR equations for the external empty space and the internal spaces for incompressible and compressible perfect fluids. The obtained analytical solution for an incompressible fluid is compared with the Schwarzchild solution. For a sphere consisting of compressible fluid or gas, a numerical solution is presented and discussed.

The task of selecting robotic mechanic assembly technologies (RMAT) is considered as a multi-criteria optimization task, which in this formulation is solved on the set of previously obtained solutions regarding the selection of RMAT. The purpose of the paper is to increase the efficiency of technological preparation of robotic mechanical assembly production of machine and instrument engineering due to a new approach to the selection of RMAT using Pareto optimization and the peculiarities of the selection task formulation. The novelty consists in the further development of a science-based approach to solving multi-criteria selection task, based on the first proposed formalisms of the specified process, which reflect the peculiarities of the selection task formulation, its meaningful essence and the content of the Pareto optimization method. The practical value of the research lies in the proposed engineering-acceptable approach to solving applied multi-criteria selection tasks on the example of RMAT selection, which is invariant to the statement of the selection task, the dimension of the task, and its meaningful essence. The methods of discrete optimization, fuzzy multi-criteria selection of alternatives, and the Pareto optimization method were used for the research. The main results of this work consist of the development of formalisms and the demonstration of the efficiency of the proposed approach for the applied task of RMAT selection. The peculiarity of the developed approach is the combination of Pareto optimization, performed on a discrete set of local criteria. Directions for further research are presented.
