An analysis has been carried out to study the effects of radiation absorption and firstorder chemical reaction on unsteady mixed convective flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid through a porous medium of variable permeability between two long vertical non conducting wavy channels in the presence of heat *** unsteadiness in the flow is due to traveling thermal wave imposed on the *** governing equations are solved subject to the relevant boundary conditions with the assumption that the solution consists of a mean part and a perturbed *** zeroth-order,the first order and the total solution of the problem are numerically evaluated and displayed graphically for pertinent *** model finds applications in studying fixed-bed catalytic reactors and packed bed heat exchangers.

strong>Background:strong> To investigate the effects of the association of semi-ablative fractional radiofrequency (RFF) with growth factors in stretch marks. strong>Methods:strong> This is a randomized controlled trial. The sample consisted of 28 female patients with complaints of gluteus or abdomen striae and divided into 2 equitable groups, named G1 (semi-ablative RFF without active principle association) and G2 (semi-ablative RFF with active principle association), being subdivided into G-1A and G-2A (abdominal applications) and G-1B and G-2B (gluteus applications). A photographic and histological analysis was performed using questionnaires about inflammation, presence of adverse effects and satisfaction of volunteers. Photographic analysis showed a reduction in the amount of striae alba in all groups. strong>Results:strong> The histological analysis showed an increase in fibroblast activity, collagen type I, and blood vessels, especially in the groups that associated the RFF with the active principle. In the inflammation analysis, the groups that performed intervention with active ingredients showed lower inflammatory signal. All groups had a reasonable level of satisfaction after the interventions;however, the group that used active ingredients reported greater results. strong>Conclusion:strong> The association of semi ablative RFF with growth factors showed a reduction in clinical inflammatory signs, mainly in the first 15 days, as well as higher collagen production, verified in 30 days, with satisfactory clinical results in all groups.

Gold has been regarded as a poor heterogeneous catalyst because it is generally considered a nonreactive metal. But as nanocatalysts,gold and other metals somehow significantly enhance reactivity. It is generally thought chemical bonds of reactants are weakened by adsorption to nanocatalysts thereby allowing reactions to proceed more rapidly,but how this reaction proceeds to completion is not well understood. Here gold nanocatalysts are treated as unsupported nanoparticles (NPs) in a solution of reactant molecules from which extensions are made to gold NPs supported on titanium dioxide. Whether the NPs are supported or unsupported,enhanced catalytic reactivity depends on absorbed thermal kT (k is Boltzmann's constant and T is absolute temperature) energy accumulated from prior collisions of reactant molecules. The accumulated kT energy is treated as electromagnetic thereby allowing frequency up-conversion by quantum electrodynamics (QED) to the confinement frequency of the NP,typically beyond the vacuum ultraviolet (vUv). By this theory,the chemical reaction of reactant molecules having bonds weakened by adsorption is completed by QED induced vUv photolysis.

Multinucleon transfer processes in low-energy heavy ion collisions open a new field of research in nuclear physics, namely, production and studying properties of heavy neutron rich nuclei. This not-yet-explored area of the nuclear map is extremely important for understanding the astrophysical nucleosynthesis and the origin of heavy elements. Beams of very heavy U-like ions are needed to produce new long-living isotopes of transfermium and superheavy elements located very close to the island of stability. The calculated cross sections are high enough to perform the experiments at available *** of medium-mass ions(such as136 Xe,192Os,198Pt) can be used for the production of neutron rich nuclei located along the neutron closed shell N = 126(the last waiting point) having the largest impact on the astrophysical r-process. The Low-energy multinucleon transfer reactions is a very efficient tool also for the production and spectroscopic study of light exotic nuclei. The corresponding cross sections are 2 or 3 orders of magnitude larger as compared with high energy fragmentation reactions.

A technique for testing space object receivers using global navigation satellite system （GNss） signal simulator of the navigation field is proposed. Its structure consists of two blocks which allow synthesizing the scenario of reciprocal displacement of the receiver relative to navigation satellites and their signals. In the first block, according to the known coordinates of the receiver which are specified in tabular form or analytically, the distances between the receiver and the navigation satellites are calculated as well as their relative velocities. According to these data, the second block synthesizes the signals of navigational travelers with the specified characteristics which are transmitted via the air or cable with a given attenuation to the receiver. This allows testing on the earth receivers for airplanes and space objects under different scenarios of their movement, which not only reduces the risk of problems during the flight, but also avoids significant economic costs. Based on real data obtained by approaching two spacecraft using a simulator, the receiver was tested, which shows the promise of the proposed technology.

Experimental and theoretical investigation of prompt nitrogen oxides emission in flame of different gaseous fuels were carried out with purpose of minimizing total NOX yield. The effect of the following factors was determined: air excess from 0.3 to 1.1, flame temperature, heating flame rate, fuel *** was found that, if air excess was less than 0.65, some prompt NOX converted to N2 in consequence of reacting with hydrocarbon radicals.
