A steel dual-core self-centering brace （DC-SCB） is an innovative structural member that provides both energy dissipation and self-centering properties to structures, reducing maximum and residual drifts of structures in earthquakes. The axial deformation capacity of the DC-SCB is doubled by a parallel arrangement of two inner cores, one outer box and two sets of tensioning elements. This paper presents cyclic test results of a DC-SCB component and a full- scale one-story, one-bay steel frame with a DC-SCB. The DC-SCB that was near 8 m-long was tested to evaluate its cyclic behavior and durability. The DC-SCB performed well under a total of three increasing cyclic loading tests and 60 low- cycle fatigue loading tests without failure. The maximum axial load of the DC-SCB was near 1700 kN at an interstory drift of 2.5%. Moreover, a three-story dual-core self-centering braced frame （DC-SCBF） with a single-diagonal DC-SCB was designed and its first-story, one-bay DC-SCBF subassembly specimen was tested in multiple earthquake-type loadings. The one-story, one-bay subassembly frame specimen performed well up to an interstory drift of 2% with yielding at the column base and local buckling in the steel beam; no damage of the DC-SCB was found after all tests. The maximum residual drift of the DC-SCBF caused by beam local buckling was 0.5% in 2.0% drift cycles.

BACKGROUND Loco-regional therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) during the period awaiting liver transplantation(LT) appears to be a logical approach to reduce the risk of tumor progression and dropout in the *** donor LT(LDLT)offers a flexible timing for transplantation providing timeframe for well preparation of *** To investigate outcomes in relation to the intention of pre-transplantation locoregional therapy in LDLT for HCC *** A total of 308 consecutive patients undergoing LDLTs for HCC between August2004 and December 2018 were retrospectively *** were grouped according to the intention of loco-regional therapy prior to LT,and outcomes of patients were analyzed and compared between *** Overall,38 patients(12.3%) were detected with HCC recurrence during the follow-up period after *** who were radiologically beyond the University of California at San Francisco criteria and received loco-regional therapy as down-staging therapy had significant inferior outcomes to other groups for both recurrence-free survival(RFS,P < 0.0005) and overall survival(P= 0.046).Moreover,patients with defined profound tumor necrosis(TN) by locoregional therapy had a superior RFS(5-year of 93.8%) as compared with others(P= 0.010).CONCLUSION LDLT features a flexible timely transplantation for patient with ***,the loco-regional therapy prior to LDLT does not seem to provide benefit unless a certain effect in terms of profound TN is noted.

In this paper, we explore state-based potential games using the semi-tensor product of ***, applying the potential equation, we derive both a necessary and sufficient condition as well as a sufficient condition to verify whether a state-based game qualifies as a potential game. Next, we present two static equivalence conditions of state-based potential games. We then delve into dynamic equivalence. We propose a criterion that allows us to identify state-based games that are dynamically equivalent to state-based potential games and share similar dynamic properties. Ultimately, we introduce the concept of state-based networked evolutionary games. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition to ensure that a state-based networked evolutionary game can be classified as a state-based potential game.

Unmanned autonomous helicopter(UAH)path planning problem is an important component of the UAH mission planning *** to reduce the influence of non-complete ground threat information on UAH path planning,a ground threat prediction-based path planning method is proposed based on artificial bee colony(ABC)algorithm by collaborative thinking ***,a dynamic threat distribution probability model is developed based on the characteristics of typical ground *** dynamic no-fly zone of the UAH is simulated and established by calculating the distribution probability of ground threats in real ***,a dynamic path planning method for UAH is designed in complex environment based on the real-time prediction of ground *** adding the collision warning mechanism to the path planning model,the flight path could be dynamically adjusted according to changing no-fly ***,a hybrid enhanced ABC algorithm is proposed based on collaborative thinking *** proposed algorithm applies the leader-member thinking mechanism to guide the direction of population evolution,and reduces the negative impact of local optimal solutions caused by collaborative learning update strategy,which makes the optimization performance of ABC algorithm more controllable and ***,simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed ground threat prediction path planning method.

Membership inference attacks on machine learning models have drawn significant *** current research primarily utilizes shadow modeling techniques,which require knowledge of the target model and training data,practical scenarios involve black-box access to the target model with no available *** training data further complicate the implementation of these *** this paper,we experimentally compare common data enhancement schemes and propose a data synthesis framework based on the variational autoencoder generative adversarial network(VAE-GAN)to extend the training data for shadow ***,this paper proposes a shadow model training algorithm based on adversarial training to improve the shadow model's ability to mimic the predicted behavior of the target model when the target model's information is *** conducting attack experiments on different models under the black-box access setting,this paper verifies the effectiveness of the VAE-GAN-based data synthesis framework for improving the accuracy of membership inference ***,we verify that the shadow model,trained by using the adversarial training approach,effectively improves the degree of mimicking the predicted behavior of the target *** with existing research methods,the method proposed in this paper achieves a 2%improvement in attack accuracy and delivers better attack performance.

BACKGROUND No prognostic models specific to hepatocellular carcinoma patients receiving surgical resection have been considered strong and convincing enough for survival prediction thus far,and there are no models including only preoperative *** derived a nomogram to predict disease-free survival in a previous *** To simplify our score and compare research outcomes among other scoring *** We retrospectively reviewed data from 1106 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent liver resection at the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital between April 2003 and December *** analyses were conducted to identify the significant survival ***,Harrell’s C-index,and Akaike information criterion were compared between our score,AJCC 8^(th)edition,Tokyo score,and Taipei Integrated Scoring System(TTV-CTPAFP model).RESULTS Among the 1106 patients,731(66.1%)had tumor recurrence at a median followup of 83.9 *** risk factors were identified:platelet count,albumin level,indocyanine green retention rate,multiplicity,and radiologic total tumor *** were divided into three risk groups,and the 5-year survival rates were 61.7%,39%,and 25.7%,*** C-index was 0.617,which was higher than the Tokyo score(0.613)and the Taipei Integrated Scoring System(0.562)and equal to the value of the AJCC 8th edition(0.617).CONCLUSION The modified score provides an easier method to predict *** treatment can be planned preoperatively by dividing patients into risk groups.

SO_(2)poisoning is a common problem in the catalytic combustion of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).In this work,we took three-dimensionally ordered macroporous and mesoporous(3DOM)SiO_(2)as the nanoreactor to protect active sites from SO_(2)erosion in the catalytic combustion of ***,the confined growth of metal active nanoparticles in the multi-stage pore is also full of *** we successfully confined Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles(NPs)in macroporous and mesoporous ***,the precursors’growth in the pore was controlled and nanoreactors with different pore sizes were prepared by adjusting the loading amount and preparation *** is discovered that the Co_(3)O_(4)NPs confined in 3DOM SiO_(2)nanoreactor showed superior sulfur and water *** functional theory(DFT)calculations verified that the Co-Si catalyst had high SO_(2)adsorption energy(-0.48 eV),which illustrated that SO_(2)was hard to attach to the surface of the Co-Si *** SiO_(2)nanoreactor had low SO_(2)adsorption energy(-5.15 eV),which indicated that SO_(2)was easily absorbed on SiO_(2)*** illustrated that the SiO_(2)nanoreactor could protect effectively active sites from SO_(2)erosion.

The massive use of antibiotics has led to the aggravation of bacterial resistance and also brought environmental pollution *** poses a great threat to human *** the dosage of antibiotics is reduced by increasing its bactericidal performance,the emergence of drug resistance is certainly delayed,so that there's not enough time for developing drug resistance during ***,we selected typical representative materials of metal Ag and semiconductor ZnO nano-bactericides to design and synthesize Ag/ZnO hollow core-shell structures(AZ for short).Antibiotics are grafted on the surface of AZ through rational modification to form a composite sterilization *** research results show that the antibacterial efficiency of the composite system is significantly increased,from the sum(34.7%+22.8%-57.5%)of the antibacterial efficiency of AZ and gentamicin to 80.2%,net synergizes 22.7%,which fully reflects the effect of 1+1>***,the dosage of antibiotics can be drastically reduced in this way,which makes both the possibility of bacterial resistance and medical expenses remarkably ***,residual antibiotics can be degraded under simple illumination using AZ-self as a photocatalyst,which cuts off the path of environmental *** short,such an innovative route has guiding significance for drug resistance.

Intensive selection pressure constrains the evolutionary trajectory of SARS-CoV-2 genomes and results in various novel variants with distinct mutation *** mutations,particularly those within the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)protein,lead to the functional alteration in both receptor engagement and monoclonal antibody(mAb)***,we review the data of the RBD point mutations possessed by major SARS-CoV-2 variants and discuss their individual effects on ACE2 affinity and immune *** single amino acid substitutions within RBD epitopes crucial for the antibody evasion capacity may conversely weaken ACE2 binding ***,this weakened effect could be largely compensated by specific epistatic mutations,such as N501Y,thus maintaining the overall ACE2 affinity for the spike protein of all major *** predominant direction of SARS-CoV-2 evolution lies neither in promoting ACE2 affinity nor evading mAb neutralization but in maintaining a delicate balance between these two ***,this review interprets how RBD mutations efficiently resist antibody neutralization and meanwhile how the affinity between ACE2 and spike protein is maintained,emphasizing the significance of comprehensive assessment of spike mutations.
