Investigating natural-inspired applications is a perennially appealing subject for scientists. The current increase in the speed of natural-origin structure growth may be linked to their superior mechanical properties and environmental resilience. Biological composite structures with helicoidal schemes and designs have remarkable capacities to absorb impact energy and withstand damage. However, there is a dearth of extensive study on the influence of fiber redirection and reorientation inside the matrix of a helicoid structure on its mechanical performance and reactivity. The present study aimed to explore the static and transient responses of a bio-inspired helicoid laminated composite(B-iHLC) shell under the influence of an explosive load using an isomorphic method. The structural integrity of the shell is maintained by a viscoelastic basis known as the Pasternak foundation, which encompasses two coefficients of stiffness and one coefficient of damping. The equilibrium equations governing shell dynamics are obtained by using hamilton's principle and including the modified first-order shear theory,therefore obviating the need to employ a shear correction factor. The paper's model and approach are validated by doing numerical comparisons with respected publications. The findings of this study may be used in the construction of military and civilian infrastructure in situations when the structure is subjected to severe stresses that might potentially result in catastrophic collapse. The findings of this paper serve as the foundation for several other issues, including geometric optimization and the dynamic response of similar mechanical structures.

A sharp increase in economic and human development has multiplied the carbon intensity due to which there is a significant need of effective strategies in order to curb carbon ***,the present study aims to examine the effective of green finance,eco-innovation,renewable energy output(REO),renewable energy consumption(REC),and carbon taxes on carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in BRICS countries in the time of ***-sectional autoregressive distributed lag(CS ARDL)is used to test the connection among the *** estimations of CS-ARDL approach validates the effectiveness of green finance,eco-innovation,REO,REC,carbon taxes,and industrialization as the relationship of these factors with carbon emissions is negative in nature in BRICS *** on the evidences,the study recommends the formulation of environmentally friendly practices and advancement in green finances to mitigate carbon emissions.

The rising claim for more environmental friendly and healthy agriculture is a strong incentive to find alternative strategies to replace the use of mineral fertilizer and pesticide. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), a main component of soil microbiota, represent a promising tool as providers of key ecological services. The present work represented one of the first attempts to study, under a morphological and molecular point of view, the AMF communities associated to some strategic crops in Vietnam. The findings about the AMF morphotypes dominant in different crop systems could be a starting point for the development of well performing and adapted inocula suitable for the application in field.

AIM:To determine the dry eye(DE)rate and its relationship with disease stage in patients with primary ***:A cross-sectional study included 432 patients with primary hypertension(with an equal number of patients in each group:144 in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ hypertension)and 144 healthy subjects as a control *** Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)and Schirmer Ⅰ test without anesthetics were conducted on all 576 *** with OSDI scoreshan in the control group(41.7%versus 18.8%;Phan those without DE,P<*** age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma creatinine,and CRP-hs levels were independent factors associated with DE in primary hypertension patients,P<***:DE is a common disorder associated with advanced age,a long duration of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma CRP-hs,and creatinine levels in patients with primary hypertension.

In this paper,two lifting mechanism models with opposing placements,which use the same hydraulic hoist model and have the same angle of 50°,have been *** mechanical and hydraulic simulation models are established using MATLAB Simscape to analyze their kinetics and dynamics in the lifting and holding *** simulation findings are compared to the analytical calculation results in the steady state,and both methods show good *** the early lifting stage,Model 1 produces greater force and discharges goods in the container faster than Model ***,Model 2 reaches a higher force and ejects goods from the container cleaner than its counterpart at the end lifting *** established simulation models can consider the effects of dynamic loads due to inertial moments and forces generated during the system *** is crucial in studying,designing,and optimizing the structure of hydraulic-mechanical systems.

Environmental pollution,such as water contamination,is a critical issue that must be absolutely ***,three different morphologies of tungsten-based photocatalysts(WO_(3)nanorods,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanobricks,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods)are made using a simple hydrothermal method by changing the solvents(H_(2)O,DMF,aqueous HCl solution).The as-prepared nanocatalysts have excellent thermal stability,large porosity,and high *** results show all materials have good photocatalytic activity in aqueous media,with WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods(NRs)having the best activity in the photodegradation of bisphenol A(BPA)under visible-light *** may originate from increased migration of charge carriers and effective prevention of electron–hole recombination in WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs,whereby this photocatalyst is able to generate more reactive·OH and·O_(2)^(–)species,leading to greater photocatalytic *** 99.6% of BPA is photodegraded within 60 min when using 1.5 g/L WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs and 5.0 mg/L BPA at pH ***,the optimal conditions(pH,catalyst dosage,initial BPA concentration)for WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs are also elaborately *** rod-like heterostructures are expressed as potential catalysts with excellent photostability,efficient reusability,and highly active effectivity in different types of *** particular,the removal efficiency of BPA by WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs reduces by only 1.5% after five recycling runs and even reaches 89.1%in contaminated lake *** study provides promising insights for the nearly complete removal of BPA from wastewater or different water resources,which is advantageous to various applications in environmental remediation.

Nitrogen addition increased resistance of resident plant community to Solidago canadensis invasion by altering allelopathic effect

Allelopathy plays an important role in the interaction between invasive and resident *** nitrogen(N)deposition has become a global problem,but it is unclear whether N enrichment affects the interaction between invasive and resident plants by affecting their ***,we performed a greenhouse experiment in which the resident plant community was grown under two levels of invasion by ***(invasion *** invasion)and fully crossed with two levels of allelopathy(with or without adding activated carbon)and two levels of N addition(with or without).The resident plant communities were constructed with eight herbaceous species that often co-occur with *** results showed that both allelopathy of *** and the resident plants had obvious positive effects on their own *** addition had more obvious positive effects on the resident plants under invasion than those that were not ***,N addition also altered the allelopathy of resident ***,N addition improved the allelopathy of resident plants when they were invaded but decreased the allelopathy of resident plants when they grew *** nitrogen addition had no obvious effect on ***,it reduced the allelopathy of *** results suggest that N addition could improve the resistance of resident plants to invasion by improving the allelopathy of resident plants and reducing the allelopathy of *** fndings provide a scientifc basis to manage and control the *** invasion.

We present one-loop contributions for h→ℓℓγ with ℓ=νe,μ,τ,e,μ and e−e+→hγ in the U(1)_(B−L) extension of the standard model. In the phenomenological results, the signal strengths for h→ℓℓγ at the Large hadron Collider and for e−e+→hγ at future lepton colliders are analyzed in the physical parameter space for both the vector and chiral B−L models. We found that the contributions from the neutral gauge boson Z′ to the signal strengths are rather small. Consequently, the effects will be difficult to probe at future colliders. However, the impacts of charged Higgs and CP-odd Higgs in the chiral B−L model on the signal strengths are significant and can be measured with the help of the initial polarization beams at future lepton colliders.

The demand of high-performance thin-film-shaped deformable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding devices is increasing for the next generation of wearable and miniaturized soft *** highly reflective conductive materials can effectively shield EMI,they prevent deformation of the devices owing to rigidity and generate secondary electromagnetic pollution ***,soft and stretchable EMI shielding thin film devices with absorption-dominant EMI shielding behavior is *** devices consist of liquid metal(LM)layer and LM grid-patterned layer separated by a thin elastomeric film,fabricated by leveraging superior adhesion of aerosol-deposited LM on *** devices demonstrate high electromagnetic shielding effectiveness(SE)(SE_(T) of up to 75 dB)with low reflectance(SER of 1.5 dB at the resonant frequency)owing to EMI absorption induced by multiple internal reflection generated in the LM grid ***,the excellent stretchability of the LM-based devices facilitates tunable EMI shielding abilities through grid space adjustment upon strain(resonant frequency shift from 81.3 to 71.3 GHz@33%strain)and is also capable of retaining shielding effectiveness even after multiple strain *** newly explored device presents an advanced paradigm for powerful EMI shielding performance for next-generation smart electronics.
