Calcineurin(CN)is a calcium-and calmodulindependent serine/threonine that has been studied in many model organisms including yeast,filamentous fungi,plants,and *** biological functions range from ion homeostasis and virulence in lower eukaryotes to T-cell activation in humans by human nuclear factors of activated *** is a heterodimeric protein consisting of a catalytic subunit,calcineurin A(Cna1p),which contains an active site with a dinuclear metal center,and a regulatory Ca^(2+) binding subunit called calcineurin B(Cnb1p)required to activate *** calcineurin B subunit has been highly conserved through evolution:for example,the mammalian calcineurin B shows 54%identity with calcineurin B from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Purpose:This study aimed to assess the effectiveness and time course for improvements in explosive actions through resistance training(RT)*** training(PT)in prepubertal soccer ***:Thirty-four male subjects were assigned to:a control group(n=11);an RT group(5 regular soccer training sessions per week,n=12);a PT group(3 soccer training sessions and 2 RT sessions per week,n=11).The outcome measures included tests for the assessment of muscle strength(e.g.,1 repetition maximum half-squat test),jump ability(e.g.,countermovement jump,squat jump,standing long jump,and multiple 5 bounds test),linear speed(e.g.,20m sprint test),and change of direction(e.g.,Illinois change of direction test).Results:The RTG showed an improvement in the half-squat(△=13.2%;d=1.3,phereas improvements in the 20-m sprint(△=4.2%;d=1.1,phange of direction(CoD)(△=3.8%;d=2.1,phowed improvements in CoD(△=2.1%;d=1.3,phereas improvements in the 20-m sprint(△=4.1%;d=1.3,pfter *** RT and PT groups showed improvements in all sprint,CoD,and jump tests(phalf-squat performance,for which improvement was only shown within the RTG(ph regular soccer training are safe and feasible interventions for prepubertal soccer *** addition,these interventions were shown to be effective training tools to improve explosive actions with different time courses of improvements,which manifested earlier in the RTG than in the *** outcomes may help coaches and fitness trainers set out clear and concise

Introduction:Alzheimer 's disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder and the primary cause of dementia. Considerable evidence supports the “amyloid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is primarily caused by the deposition of amyloid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The amyloid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and moderate benefit of lecanemab, a humanized antibody through an anti-amyloid mechanism,showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-amyloid trials have brought back focus on the amyloid hypothesis through biochemical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

Epicuticular wax forms the outermost protective barrier of the aerial surfaces of land plants, working in concert with other components of the plant cuticle to prevent uncontrolled loss of water and to provide protection against an array of external environmental stress. In this study, chemically- mutagenized populations of rice （Oryza sativa L.） derived from approximately 4 750 M2 families were screened for adhesion of water droplets resulting in a wet leaf/glossy （wig） phenotype. Mutants were identified in 11 independently-derived M2 families. Scanning electron microscopy analysis confirmed the association of the wig phenotype with changes in the epicuticular wax crystals of these plants. The phenotypes of five mutants （7-17A, 26.1, 524.2, 680.2, and 843.1） were confirmed to be the result of single recessive gene mutation. Evaluation of mutants from 3 （6-1A, 7-17A, and 11-39A） of 11 M2 families revealed significant reductions （〉 50%） in surface wax content and increases in cuticle membrane permeability.
