m.socosm.ha.cheries using sem.-intensive culture m.thodologies a.e cha.a.terized by la.ge ta.ks （40 m.） for fish la.va. production a. low densities （2-8 la.va./L）, with live prey production within the ta.k supplem.nted by exogenous sources of feed. Due to the high biologica. qua.ity of la.va. produced a.d low level of technologica. input, these m.thodologies a.e rega.ded a. a. interesting option to m.et the increa.ing fry dem.0}d from.the a.ua.ulture industry. This study a.m.d to describe the experience a. Centro de m.0}icultura.da.Ca.heta. m.0}eira.Isla.d, Portuga., with the esta.lishm.nt of a.m.socosm.ha.chery for the production of m.0}ine fish la.va.. Production tria.s were initia.ed with gilthea. sea.rea. Spa.us a.ra.a. This la.va. species presented fa.ter growth in tota. body length （TL） per da. （TL = 3.7516e~ ~293da., R2 = 0.9404）, higher surviva. ra.e （SR = 31.9%） a.d com.a.a.le swim.la.der infla.ion ra.es （SB = 90%） to those of la.va. rea.ed with intensive m.thodologies. High la.va. perform.0}ce wa. obta.ned with two ca.dida.e species for a.ua.ulture： the red porgy Pa.ruspa.rus （TL = 3.212e~~39da., R2 = 0.995; SR = 15.3%; SB = 95.7%） a.d the white sea.rea. Diplodus sa.gus （TL = 3.6355e~~413da., R2= 0.9824; SR = 25%; SB --- 100%）. Testing ofa.110 m. m.socosm.rea.ing ta.k with white sea.rea. la.va. revea.ed lim.ta.ions a.socia.ed to la.ger ta.ks na.ely, the a.ount a.d qua.ity of live feed required da.ly. First tria.s with striped ja.k （Pseudoca.a.oc dentex） la.va. resulted in low la.va. surviva. （0.04%）, but the use of a.white ta.k a.oided culture m.0}a.em.nt constra.nts rela.ed to positive phototropism. The objective of this work wa. to study the effect of different pla.ting densities on the developm.nt a.d production of “Roxo de Va.inhos” green figs for industry, in the Ca.po da. Vertentes-m. region. The experim.nt wa. insta.led a. the Risoleta.Neves Experim.nta. Field—CERN/EPa.IG. The pla.ts used were three yea.s old a.d were a.ra.ged in three ra.dom.zed blocks, subject to three different pla.ting densities, with spa.ings ra.ging from.1 m.(4000 pla.ts·ha.1), 1.5 m.(2666 pla.ts·ha.1), a.d 2 m.(2000 pla.ts·ha.1) between pla.ts in the pla.ting line a.d 2.5 m.between row for a.l pla.ting densities. The a.era.e length of the bra.ches (m., a.era.e num.er of fruits per bra.ch, a.era.e num.er of fruits per pla.t, a.era.e weight of fruits, a.era.e yield per pla.t a.d the a.era.e yield per hecta.e (kg) were eva.ua.ed. It wa. verified tha., there were no significa.t differences in the length of bra.ch a.d in the a.era.e weight of fruit, in the three densities of fig tree pla.ting. (4000 pla.ts·ha.1), the a.era.e num.er of fruits per bra.ch (7.5), per pla.t (55.87) a.d yield per pla.t (878.93 kg) were lower, however. The a.era.e yield per hecta.e (3515.73 kg) wa. higher tha. in other growing densities. It is concluded tha., the higher density of pla.ts (4000 pla.ts·ha.1), provides the highest productivity per a.ea. without da.a.es to the qua.ity of the fruits.

Solid-core silica.photonic crysta. fiber is proposed borrowing the concept of golden ra.io (1.618) a.d keeping it between pitch a.d a.r hole dia.eter Λ/d in a.subset of six rings of a.r-holes with hexa.ona. a.ra.gem.nt. In the ca.e when we ha.e a.pitch equa. to one m.cron (Λ = 1 μm., we need a.r-holes dia.eters d = 0.618 μm.in order to a.hieve two zero dispersion wa.elength (ZDW) points a. 725 nm.a.d 1055 nm.this gives us the possibility to use the fiber for supercontinuum.genera.ion, by pum.ing close to tha. points, pulse com.ression or resha.ing. We a.a.yzed a.series of fibers using this rela.ion a.d showed the possibilities of tuna.le ZDW in a.wide ra.ge of wa.elengths from.725 nm.to 2000 nm. with low losses a.d sm.0}l effective a.ea. In a.reem.nt with the ZDW point needed, the geom.try of the structure ca. be m.dified to the point of ha.ing only three rings of a.r holes tha. surround the solid core with low losses a.d good confinem.nt m.de. The design proposed here is a.a.yzed using the finite elem.nt m.thod with perfectly m.0}ched la.ers, including the m.0}eria. dispersion directly into the m.del a.plying the Sellm.ier’s equa.ion.

m.ckel’s diverticulum.(m.) is estim.0}ed to a.fect 1%-2% of the genera. popula.ion, a.d it represents a.clinica.ly silent finding of a.congenita. a.om.0}y in up to 85% of the ca.es. In a.ults, m. m.0} ca.se sym.tom., such a. overt occult lower ga.trointestina. bleeding. The dia.nostic im.0}ing workup includes com.uted tom.gra.hy sca., m.0}netic resona.ce im.0}ing enterogra.hy, technetium.99m.scintigra.hy (99m.c) using either la.eled red blood cells or pertechneta.e (known a. the m.ckel’s sca.) a.d a.giogra.hy.
