Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease （COPD） is characterized by chronic irreversible inflammation and progressive decline in lung function. While smoking and other environmental agents （e.g., air pollutants） are common causes of COPD, the major challenges in managing this condition are the persistent inflammation and functional deterioration which are not reversed by removal of precipitating agents （e.g., smoking cessation） or treatment with anti-inflammatory agents.

武术电影是最被西方观众了解并喜爱的中国电影类型。本文专注于分析在西方和东方的认知领域中理解此类型影片的一些概念性方式。本文以电影中的东方主义概念为中心,电影人通过这种概念来展示东方主义的特征和理念,以表达文化认同和哲学问题。东方主义可能会被视为一种自我表达的手段,在东方主义的表面下也兼顾着西方的口味和期待。文章强调了东西方观点的并置与不同观念的影响,往往会导致误会和误解。假如能重组和重塑观念,武术电影可以成为东西方观念之间一块能自然接触的地带。本文考察了特定的几部武术电影以东方主义的路线重塑东西方观念的效果。关于东方如何将西方的价值观和标准与西方的东方学造成的传统压力融合在一起,东方主义也许能作为西方研究东方的学者中固有观念的一种另类视角。因此,从东方的学者及艺术家的角度考虑,东方主义可以作为表现东方的内在组成部分。本论文将涉及一批武术电影,包括此类型中具有开创性的东方主义作品,像日本导演黑泽明的作品(《罗生门》《七武士》)以及中国导演张艺谋的作品(《英雄》《长城》)等。

Medical therapy for clinical benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)has advanced significantly in the last 2 *** new a1 antagonists and 5a reductase inhibitors(5ARi)are now commercially *** practicing urologist must decide on the most appropriate medication for his patients,taking into consideration various factors like efficacy,dosing regime,adverse effects,cost,patient’s socioeconomic background,expectations,drug availability and his own clinical *** use of combination therapy added further to the complexity in clinical judgment when *** highlight some of the key points in prescribing a1 antagonists,5ARi and their combination,based on our viewpoints and experience as urologists in an Asian clinical setting.

Sarcomas are rare tumours, accounting for 1% of all malignancies. They are histologically diverse, presenting with more than 50 different subtypes. Sarcoma can be broadly divided into two categories—soft tissue sarcoma and bone sarcoma. Extraskeletal osteosarcoma is a unique subtype which is histologically similar to bone osteosarcoma but resides within soft tissue and has no attachments to bone. We present a rare case of a patient who initially presented with an extraskeletal osteosarcoma that was complicated by a chronic chest wall sinus and lymphedema of the left arm. He later developed enlarging left chest wall nodules at the same region that were proven to be dedifferentiated liposarcoma on biopsy 20 years later. We examine the occurrence of both extremely rare diseases of differing pathologies over the same site but separated by an extraordinarily long interval, and possible new associations to account for this phenomenon.
