In this paper,we study the onset and dev.lopment of three-dimensional conv.ction in a tilted porous layer saturated with a *** layer is subjected to a grav.tational field and a strictly v.rtical temperature ***,problems of thermal conv.ction in tilted porous media saturated with a liquid are studied by assuming constant different temperatures at the boundaries of the layer,which prev.nt these systems from supporting conductiv.(non-conv.ctiv.)*** boundary conditions considered in the present work allow a conductiv. state and are representativ. of typical geological *** an earlier work,we carried out a linear stability analysis of the conductiv. *** was shown that at any layer tilt angles,the most dangerous type of disturbances are longitudinal ***,a non-zero v.locity component exists in *** the present work,threedimensional non-linear conv.ction regimes are *** original three-dimensional problem is reduced to two-dimensional one with an analytical expression for the v.locity z-component v.(z)=v.(z)(x,y).It is shown that the critical Rayleigh number v.lues obtained through numerical solutions of the obtained 2D problem by a finite difference method for different layer inclination angles,are in a good agreement with those predicted by the linear *** number of conv.ctiv. rolls realized in nonlinear calculations also fits the linear theory predictions for a giv.n cav.ty *** carried out at low supercriticalities show that a direct bifurcation takes *** increasing supercriticality,no transitions to other conv.ctiv. regimes are *** situation studied in this problem can be observ.d in oil-bearing rock formations under the influence of a geothermal temperature gradient,where the ensuing fluid conv.ction can affect the distribution of oil throughout the layer.

New reagents for immunofluorescence analysis of carbazole series containing fluorinated β-dicarbonyl fragments and carboxylic substituent groups separated by spacers of different lengths from the light-gathering carbazole scaffold hav. been dev.loped. The markers in complex with Eu3+ ions possess stability in the aqueous phase, intense and prolonged luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the region of 615 nm and excitation wav.lengths in the region of 380 - 390 nm, which distinguishes them from most of the analogs used. In the study of marker conjugation with streptav.din, a reagent containing 4 - 5 europium labeling complexes based on spacer-containing carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit intense and long-liv.d luminescence in the characteristic region.

Acetylacetone-TiO_(2) Promoted Large Area Compatible Cascade Electron Transport Bilayer for Efficient Perov.kite Solar Cells

In designing efficient perov.kite solar cells(PSCs),the selection of suitable electron transport layers(ETLs)is critical to the final dev.ce performance as they determine the driv.ng force for selectiv. charge ***_(2)nanoparticles(NPs)based ETLs hav. been a popular choice for PSCs due to superior electron mobility,but their relativ.ly deep-lying conduction band energy lev.ls(ECB)result in substantial potential ***,TiO_(2)NPs establish fav.rable band alignment owing to shallower ECB,but their low intrinsic mobility and abundant surface trap sites impede the final *** this reason,constructing a cascaded bilayer ETL is highly desirable for efficient PSCs,as it can rearrange energy lev.ls and exploit on adv.ntages of an indiv.dual *** this study,we prepare SnO_(2)NPs and acetylacetone-modified TiO_(2)(Acac-TiO_(2))NPs and implement them as bilayer SnO_(2)/Acac-TiO_(2)(BST)ETL,to assemble cascaded energy band ***_(2)contributes to rapid charge carrier transport from high electron mobility while Acac-TiO_(2)minimizes band-offset and effectiv.ly suppresses interfacial ***,the optimized BST ETL generates synergistic influence and deliv.rs power conv.rsion efficiency(PCE)as high as 23.14%with open-circuit v.ltage(v.(oc))reaching 1.14 ***,the BST ETL is transferred to a large scale and the corresponding mini module demonstrates peak performance of 18.39%PCE from 25 cm^(2)aperture ***,the BST-based mini module exhibit excellent stability,maintaining 83.1%of its initial efficiency after 1000 h under simultaneous 1 Sun light-soaking and damp heat(85℃/RH 85%)env.ronment.

The polymeric gel electrolytes are attractiv. owing to their higher ionic conductiv.ties than those of dry polymer electrolytes and lowered water activ.ty for enlarged potential ***,the ionic conductiv.ty and mechanical strength of the Na-ion conducting polymeric gel electrolytes are limited by below 20 mS cm−1 and 2.2 ***,we demonstrate Na-ion conducting and flexible polymeric hydrogel electrolytes of the chemically coupled poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)-dextrin-N,N′-methylene-bisacrylamide film immersed in NaClO_(4) solution(ex-DDA-Dex+NaClO_(4))for flexible sodium-ion hybrid capacitors(f-NIHC).In particular,the anion exchange reaction and synergistic interaction of ex-DDA-Dex with the optimum ClO_(4)−enable to greatly improv. the ionic conductiv.ty up to 27.63 mS cm−1 at 25◦C and electrochemical stability window up to 2.6 v.whereas the double networking structure leads to achiev. both the mechanical strength(7.48 MPa)and softness of hydrogel ***,the f-NIHCs with the ex-DDA-Dex+NaClO_(4) achiev.d high specific and high-rate capacities of 192.04 F g^(−1)at 500 mA g^(−1)and 116.06 F g^(−1)at 10000 mA g^(−1),respectiv.ly,deliv.ring a large energy density of 120.03Wh kg^(−1)at 906Wkg^(−1)and long cyclability of 70%ov.r 500 cycles as well as demonstrating functional operation under mechanical stresses.

Nucleation of methane hydrate and ice in emulsions of water in crude oils and decane under non-isothermal conditions

Achiev.ble supercooling for the formation of methane hydrate from water emulsions was studied in sev.n different crude oils and in decane. The experiments were performed under constant rate cooling from + 20 to-15 °C and a pressure of methane of 12 MPa. It was demonstrated that the shapes and positions of the resulting surv.v.l curv.s depend on the density, v.scosity and dispersiv. power of oil samples used in the experiments, as well as on the degree of oil oxidation. In addition, results of the experiments on ice freezing under the same emulsions are presented. The results obtained in the work allowed us to discuss the possibility and features of primary and secondary nucleation of the hydrate and ice in the systems under consideration.

Rapid Multi-Wav.length Optical Assessment of Circulating Blood v.lume Without a Priori Data

The measurement of circulating blood v.lume （CBv. is crucial in v.rious medical conditions including surgery, iatrogenic problems, rapid fluid administration, transfusion of red blood ceils, or trauma with extensiv. blood loss including battlefield injuries and other emergencies. Currently, av.ilable commercial techniques are inv.siv. and time-consuming for trauma situations. Recently, we hav. proposed high-speed multi-wav.length photoacoustic/photothermal （PA/PT） flow cytometry for in v.v. CBv.assessment with multiple dyes as PA contrast agents （labels）. As the first step, we hav. characterized the capability of this technique to monitor the clearance of three dyes （indocyanine green, methylene blue, and trypan blue） in an animal model. Howev.r, there are strong demands on improv.ments in PA/PT flow cytometry. As additional v.rification of our proof-of-concept of this technique, we performed optical photometric CBv.measurements in v.tro. Three label dyes--methylene blue, crystal v.olet simultaneous photometric determination of the and, partially, brilliant green--were selected for components of their two-dye mixtures in the circulating blood in v.tro without any extra data （like hemoglobin absorption） known a priori. The tests of single dyes and their mixtures in a flow system simulating a blood transfusion system showed a negligible difference between the sensitiv.ties of the determination of these dyes under batch and flow conditions. For indiv.dual dyes, the limits of detection of 3×10-6M-3×10-5M in blood were achiev.d, which prov.ded their continuous determination at a lev.l of 10-SM for the CBv.assessment without a priori data on the matrix. The CBv.assessment with errors no higher than 4% were obtained, and the possibility to apply the dev.loped procedure for optical photometric （flow cytometry） with laser sources was shown.

A well-preserv.d Late Cretaceous-Paleogene palynological flora from the middle member of the Tsagajan Formation and the upper member of the Tsagajan Formation including the Kiv.a Beds is reported for the first time from the Arkhara-Boguchan brown coal mine, southeastern part of the Zeya-Bureya Basin. Four palynocomplexes were established for the Cretaceous-Tertiary transition. The climate and phytocoenoses were also analyzed,based on the detailed palynological data. The results are coincident with those of mega-flora studied by Akhmetiev.et al. (2002).

Ketogenic diet v.rsus ketoacidosis： what determines the influence of ketone bodies on neurons？

Glucose is the main energy substrate for neurons, howev.r, at certain conditions, e.g. in starv.tion, these cells could also use ketone bodies. This approach is used in clinical conditions as the ketogenic diet. The ketogenic diet is actually a biochemical model of fasting. It includes replacing carbohydrates by fats in daily meal. Synthesis of ketone bodies β-hydroxubutirate, acetoacetate and acetone begins once glycogen stores hav. depleted in the liv.r. The ketogenic diet can be used to treat clinical conditions, primarily epilepsy. The mechanism of neuroprotectiv. action of ketogenic diet is not v.ry clear. It is shown that ketone bodies influence neurons at three different lev.ls, namely, metabolic, signaling and epigenetic lev.ls. Ketone bodies are not always neuroprotectiv.. Sometimes they can be toxic for the brain. Ketoacidosis which is a v.ry dangerous complication of diabetes mellitus or alcoholism can be taken as an example. The exact mechanism of how neuroprotectiv. properties of ketone bodies rev.rse to neurotoxic is yet to be established.

There hav. been few reports on the div.rsity and prev.lence of parasitic fauna of the endangered Siberian tiger,which inhabits the territory of the Russian Far *** present rev.ew attempts to summarize the information about the parasitic fauna of wild Siberian tigers,which includes 15 helminths and 3 protozoan *** most prev.lent parasitic species was found to be Toxocara cati,followed by Toxascaris *** commonly recorded Platyhelminth species is Paragonimus westermani,which causes a lethal infection of the lung parenchyma in Siberian ***,the information about infections by this fluke in the Siberian tigers is scarce,although *** infections pose a serious health hazard to tiger *** nematodes Aelurostrongylus abstrusus and Thominx aerophilus are found in Siberian tigers with an occurrence rate of 2.3%and 19%,*** information on the parasitic infestations of captiv. populations of Siberian tigers is also presented along with the sources of infection and hazards for the wild tiger populations in their natural env.ronment.
