The present work is an attempt to develop bio-based hybrid composites by incorporating Betel nut Fiber(BF)and Chicken feather Fiber(CF)at different ratios in modified soybean oil matrix by compression molding *** ratio of the fiber and resin was taken as 30:*** soybean oil(ESO)was modified by using methacrylic acid and methacrylic *** ratio of CF and BF was varied from 2:1 to 1:2 *** influence of hybrid fibers and fiber ratio on various properties of the composites was *** obtained results showed that composites prepared with 1:1 ratio of CF and BF exhibited highest tensile strength compared to the other composites prepared by using different ratios of CF and *** surface morphology of the composites was studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),where surface roughness was found to be decreased after incorporation of hybrid *** analysis was carried out to study the behaviour of the composites at high temperature,where thermal stability was found to enhance for hybrid composites compared to the composites prepared with single *** properties like water vapour uptake capacity and volumetric swelling were measured and found to be decreased for the hybrid *** overall improvement in properties was observed for composites having 1:1 ratio of CF:***,it is concluded that 1:1 weight ratio of CF and BF is the optimum mixing ratio to enhance the various properties of the hybrid composites.

Dear editor,A 55-year-old man presented with dyspnea and involuntary dribbling of urine for 1 *** had history of straining during micturition and weak urinary stream for a *** examination,he was disoriented and had abdominal *** revealed marked ascites,pleural effusion,bilateral hydroureteronephrosis,and distended bladder with prostatic urethral calculus.A non-contrast computerized tomography scan additionally showed thickened bladder wall with florid mucosal calcification suggestive of encrusted cystitis and a 2.9 cm×2.5 cm calculus in the prostatic urethra extending to the bulbar urethra(Fig.1).His hemoglobin was 6 g/dL;urea and creatinine were elevated(114 mg/dL and 8.4 mg/dL,respectively);and the leucocyte count was 16.3×109/*** initial resuscitation,ultrasound guided supra-pubic catheterization was *** urine pH was 8.4 while the microscopy revealed numerous pus cells,bacteria,and inorganic crystals.A nephrology consultation was taken and considering the clinical picture of encrusted cystitis,he started on intravenous *** also received a session of *** patient died of cardiovascular collapse on the second post admission *** urine culture report,obtained posthumously,revealed Corynebacterium urealyticum corroborating the diagnosis of encrusted *** strain was multidrug resistant and showed only sensitivity to teicoplanin and vancomycin.

Agriculture faces risks due to increasing stress from climate change,particularly in semi-arid *** of understanding of crop water requirement(CWR)and irrigation water requirement(IWR)in a changing climate may result in crop failure and socioeconomic problems that can become detrimental to agriculture-based economies in emerging nations *** research in CWR and IWR has largely focused on large river basins and scenarios from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 3(CMIP3)and Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5(CMIP5)to account for the impacts of climate change on *** basins,however,are more susceptible to regional climate change,with more significant impacts on *** study estimates CWRs and IWRs for five crops(sugarcane,wheat,cotton,sorghum,and soybean)in the Pravara River Basin(area of 6537 km^(2))of India using outputs from the most recent Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)General Circulation Models(GCMs)under Shared Socio-economic Pathway(SSP)245 and SSP585 *** increase in mean annual rainfall is projected under both scenarios in the 2050s and 2080s using ten selected CMIP6 *** for all crops may decline in almost all of the CMIP6 GCMs in the 2050s and 2080s(with the exceptions of ACCESS-CM-2 and ACCESS-ESM-1.5)under SSP245 and SSP585 *** availability of increasing soil moisture in the root zone due to increasing rainfall and a decrease in the projected maximum temperature may be responsible for this decline in ***,except for soybean and cotton,the projected IWRs for all other three crops under SSP245 and SSP585 scenarios show a decrease or a small increase in the 2050s and 2080s in most CMIP6 *** findings are important for agricultural researchers and water resource managers to implement long-term crop planning techniques and to reduce the negative impacts of climate change and associated rainfall variability to avert crop failure and agricultural
