We incorporated a superheated steam blanching pretreatment step into a paprika drying process and compared the far-infrared(FIR)drying rates,hardness of the sample surfaces,cell membrane stabilities,and energy consumption of blanched and non-blanched *** average drying rate of blanched paprika samples during FIR drying was higher than that of non-blanched *** hardness and cell membrane stability of dried blanched samples were lower than those of non-blanched *** estimated that the softening of the sample surfaces and injury to the cell membranes caused the drying rate to *** total energy consumption of the FIR drying of paprika was reduced by approximately 30%by introducing the blanching *** findings contribute to the development of environmentally friendly FIR drying techniques for paprika.

MINFLUX has achieved extraordinary resolution in superresolution imaging and single fluorophore *** is based on localizing single fluorophores by rapid probing with a patterned beam that features a local intensity *** implementations,however,are complex and expensive and are limited in speed and ***,we show that a combination of an electro-optical modulator with a segmented birefringent element such as a spatial light modulator produces a variable phase plate for which the phase can be scanned on the MHz *** or top-hat phase patterns generate high-contrast compact excitation point-spread functions for MINFLUX localization in the x,y,and z-direction,respectively,which can be scanned across a fluorophore within a microsecond,switched within 60 microseconds and alternated among different excitation *** discuss how to compensate for non-optimal performance of the components and present a robust 3D and multi-color MINFLUX excitation module,which we envision as an integral component of a high-performance and cost-effective open-source MINFLUX.

Background:We clarified the predictive factors for changes in the status ofmedications for lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)2 years after local radiotherapy for nonmetastatic prostate *** and methods:We retrospectively included patients who underwent local external radiotherapy for nonmetastatic prostate cancer in 8 institutions between April 2001 and March *** were divided into themedication and no-medication group based on the use of drugs for LUTS before *** defined improvement of LUTS as when the patient did not require medication for LUTS at 24 months after radiotherapy in the medication group and as deterioration whenmedication was required in the no-medication *** regression analysis was used to evaluate predictive factors for changes in medication ***:Altogether,505 patients were divided into a no-medication group(n=352)and a medication group(n=153).The number of patients with deterioration and improvement in LUTS was 49(14%)and 36(23%),*** the multivariate analysis,the predictive variables for deterioration were the International Prostate SymptomScore(≥8;odds ratio[OR],2.21;p=0.014)and the biopsy Gleason score(≤3+4=7;OR,2.430;p=0.008)in the no-medication group,whereas those for improvement were age(<75 years old;OR,5.81;p=0.002),the quality of life score(<3;OR,3.15;p=0.028),and a positive biopsy core rate(≥50%;OR,2.530;p=0.027)in the medication ***:These predictive factors for changes in the status ofmedications for LUTS at 2 years after external radiotherapymay help determine the definitive therapy for nonmetastatic prostate cancer.

各国社会存在类同的社会问题,但又并非完全一致。在其他国家被认定为社会问题之问题,于中国未必成为社会问题。不同于诸多后工业社会,中国的女性劳动参与率在非“去家庭化”下未呈现出“M字型曲线”。这一现象的背景中存在基于人心的社会问题化解或预防机制。基于此机制,社会问题成了“个人(家庭)问题”,或是在形成前就被“成功”扼杀。人心不被国家、场域或市场所限,这意味着中国具有不被这些所限的问题化解或预防机制,也同时意味着中国所要面对的问题超越这些范畴。在中国,社会治理委任于每位行动者,而每位行动者也自我趋向于去承接社会治理之责。对社会机制的理解,能深化对社会问题的认知,以及对人们的各种实践所具意义的自觉。
