A novel method was used to obtain demethoxy-amino-substituted hypocrellin derivatives. Peri-hydroxylated perylenequinone structure of hypocrellin was reserved when hypocrellin reacted with an amine in pyridine. the products were new compounds with significant cytoxicity against tumor cells. their structures have been established on the basis of their mass and H-1 NMR spectra.

For the long-term fortification of warehoused crops, the insecticidal impact of cold plasma treated wheat seeds against red flour beetles are *** this study, the gain weight loss,mortality and repellency tests of cold plasma treated seeds are investigated and statistical analysis is carried out by sPss *** plasma treatment is carried out at 800 V for 1 and 4 *** results show that the minimum grain weight loss is observed in plasma treated seeds as compared to controlled *** is also observed that the mortality rate is minimum in the controlled seed while maximum at 4 min plasma ***, the repellent effect has a very small variation as compared to the controlled seed for tribolium ***, plasma treatment can be considered as a practical and effective method for seed protection against red floor beetles particularly during long-term storage by controlling the insecticidal effects.

two fundamental flows, namely, the stokes and Couette flows in a Maxwell fluid are considered. the exact analytic solutions are derived in the presence of the slip condition. the Laplace transform method is employed for the development of such solutions. Limiting cases of no-slip and viscous fluids can be easily recovered from the present analysis. the behaviors of embedded flow parameters are discussed through graphs.

In this paper the effects of temperature on the radial breathing modes （RBMs） and radial wave propaga- tion in multiwall carbon nanotubes （MWCNts） are inves- tigated using a continuum model of multiple elastic isotropic shells. the van der Waals forces between tubes are simulated as a nonlinear function of interlayer spacing of MWCNts. the governing equations are solved using a finite element method. A wide range of innermost radius-to-thickness ratio of MWCNts is considered to enhance the investigation. the presented solution is verified by comparing the results with those reported in the literature. the effects of temperature on the van der Waals interaction coefficient between layers of MWCNts are examined. It is found that the variation of the van der Waals interaction coefficient at high temperature is sensible. subsequently, variations of RBM frequencies and radial wave propagation in MWCNts with temperatures up to 1 600 K are illustrated. It is shown that the thick MWC- Nts are more sensible to temperature than the thin ones.

the effect of Bagasse ash （BAp） particle reinforcement on the wear behavior of Al-Cu- Mg alloy has been studied. Bagasse ash particles were varied from 0 wt pct-10 wt pct with interval of 2 wt pct. Unlubricated pin-on disc tests were conducted to examine the wear behaviour of the aluminium alloy/Bagasse ash particulate composites. the tests were conducted at varying loads, from 5 to 20 N and sliding speeds of 1.26 m/s, 2.51 m/s, 3.77 m/s and 5.02 m/s for a constant sliding distance of 5000 m. the results showed that the wear rates of the A1-Cu-Mg/BAp composites are lower than that of the matrix alloy and further decrease with increasing Bagasse ash content. Wear rate increases as the sliding speed and applied load increase. the microstructure of the worn surface revealed that a large amount of plastic deformation appeared on the surface of the unreinforced alloy. While Bagasse ash reinforced Al-Cu-Mg alloy showed worn out surface that is not smooth, and grooves, scratches and parallel lines were observed. A combination of adhesion and delamination wear was in operation. these results show that improve wear properties is achievable for the aluminium alloy by the addition of Bagasse ash particles as reinforcement material.

Objective:to investigate the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of ethanol extract of Passiflora foetida(***) ***:Ethanol extract of *** leaf was evaluated for analgesic action by acetic acid-induced writhing and hot plate method in albino *** anti-inflammatory property of ethanolic leaf extract was tested by carrageenan induced acute paw edema and histamine induced acute paw edema in ***:the dose 200 mg/kg of P. foetida leaf extract exhibited highest significant analgesic activity[(13.50±0.43) min]at a reaction time of 20 min in hot plate method in *** ethanol extract of leaf dose 100 mg/kg produced a highly significant anti inflammatory effect[(1.302±0.079) mL]in ***:It is very clear that *** also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities for the pharmaceuticals.

Let D be a domain in Cn. It is known that if D is a simply connected bounded domain in C with spherical real analytic boundary D, then every local biholomorphic map at boundary as above extends to a biholomorphic map from D onto the unit ball in Cn. As a consequence, a local biholomorphic map between D1 and D2 where D1 and D2 are simply connected domains in Cn with spherical real analytic boundaries can extend to a global biholomorphic map from D1 onto D2. If the boundary is algebraic, the simply connected condition in the above result can be dropped. In this note, we show that the above phenomenon is no longer true if domains are in algebraic varieties with isolated singularities.
