Big Data Analytics in telecommunications: Literature Review and Architecture Recommendations

this paper focuses on facilitating state-of-the-art applications of big data analytics(BDA) architectures and infrastructures to telecommunications(telecom) industrial *** companies are dealing with terabytes to petabytes of data on a daily basis. Io t applications in telecom are further contributing to this data deluge. Recent advances in BDA have exposed new opportunities to get actionable insights from telecom big data. these benefits and the fast-changing BDA technology landscape make it important to investigate existing BDA applications to telecom sector. For this, we initially determine published research on BDA applications to telecom through a systematic literature review through which we filter 38 articles and categorize them in frameworks, use cases, literature reviews, white papers and experimental validations. We also discuss the benefits and challenges mentioned in these articles. We find that experiments are all proof of concepts(POC) on a severely limited BDA technology stack(as compared to the available technology stack), i.e.,we did not find any work focusing on full-fledged BDA implementation in an operational telecom environment. to facilitate these applications at research-level, we propose a state-of-the-art lambda architecture for BDA pipeline implementation(called Lambda tel) based completely on open source BDA technologies and the standard Python language, along with relevant *** discovered only one research paper which presented a relatively-limited lambda architecture using the proprietary AWS cloud infrastructure. We believe Lambda tel presents a clear roadmap for telecom industry practitioners to implement and enhance BDA applications in their enterprises.

Dear editor treatment emergent neuroendocrine prostate cancer(tNEPC)is most commonly observed after development of resistance to androgen deprivation therapy(ADt)and is associated with rapid progression and widespread metastases with survival less than 1 year from diagnosis[1].Management of this disease is mainly through cytotoxic chemotherapy and there is no published evidence of treating the primary prostatic lesion in this stage of the disease,unlike that of localized prostate cancer or castrate sensitive metastatic prostate cancer[2].In this letter,we report the only known case of t-NEPC who presented with an initial diagnosis of bladder urothelial carcinoma and was treated by early radical surgery and chemotherapy,which led to longterm disease control and preservation of quality of life.

Bioactive lipids constitute a large family of molecules considered as inflammatory *** them,lysophosphatidic acid(LPA),sphingosine 1-phosphate(S1P),and eicosanoids(prostanoids such as PGE2 and leukotrienes such as LtB4,LtC4,and LtD4)play a central role in the pathophysiology of several inflammatory ***,it has long been known that these bioactive lipids are also involved in cancer,mainly because of their ability to control the pro-inflammatory microenvironment of tumors as well as their ability to act directly on tumor cells promoting cell proliferation,migration,and ***,there has been increased interest in determining how these lipid mediators orchestrate tumor development and *** metastases result from a complex dialogue between tumor cells and bone *** findings demonstrate that all these bioactive lipids can profoundly affect bone metabolism by acting positively or negatively on both osteoblasts and *** review gives an overview of previous findings demonstrating direct involvement of LPA,S1P,and PGE2 in bone *** review also emphasizes the recent findings that characterize the activity of these bioactive lipids directly on bone cells and how these activities could be integrated into the complex molecular mechanisms leading to bone metastasis formation and progression.

Poultry Manure as an Organic Fertilizer with or without Biochar Amendment:Influence on Growth and Heavy Metal Accumulation in Lettuce and Spinach and Soil Nutrients

this pot-based study investigated the influence of poultry manure and 1:1 mixture of poultry manure+biochar(produced from farmyard manure[FYM]or wood),on the biomass production and concentration of heavy metals in leaves of lettuce and *** concentration of mineral nitrogen(N)and soluble inorganic phosphorus(P)of soils cultivated with these vegetables was also *** application of poultry manure or FYM biochar in soil as 10%(equivalent to 60 t ha^(-1),an estimated 1726.8 kg ha^(-1)N in poultry manure and 1353.9 kg ha^(-1)N in FYM)and 15%amendment(equivalent to 90 t ha^(-1),an estimated 2590.2 kg ha^(-1)N in poultry manure and 2030.8 kg ha^(-1)N in FYM)significantly decreased biomass production of lettuce as compared to control(no fertilizer added)***,mixture of poultry manure with wood-derived biochar at both application rates(i.e.,10%and 15%)and with FYM biochar at lower application rate(i.e.,10%)caused 2-3-fold increase in aboveground plant biomass and 2-14-fold increase in root biomass(pthermore,as compared to control treatment,a significant~2-3-fold increase in aboveground plant biomass was also observed in response to mixture of poultry manure with wood-derived and FYM derived biochars at 10%amendment *** compared to control treatment,concentration of mineral N and soluble inorganic P were higher in soils of all other *** spinach,amendment of poultry manure or its co-amendment with biochar of FYM significantly increased aboveground plant biomass at 7%(equivalent to 42 t ha^(-1))as compared to 3%and 5%amendment rates(equivalent to 18 and 30 t ha^(-1)respectively).the concentration of soil mineral N and soil soluble mineral P was not different between *** lettuce,wood-derived biochar did not reduce concentration of heavy metals(i.e.,manganese(Mn),copper(Cu),iron,(Fe),cadmium(Cd),lead(Pb),nickel(Ni)and cobalt(Co)than FYM-derived biochar while in spinach,as compared to poultry manure,co-amendment of

Urease enzyme(UE)has been reported to be a potent virulence factor for Helicobacter pylori(HP)bacteria indicated to be responsible for various gastrointestinal ***,the spread of HP,currently regarded by the World Health Organization as a class 1 carcinogen,could be better controlled by targeting *** is in this line that we have synthesized three new derivatives(2–4)of the naturally occurring olean-12-en-3-one(1),which was previously isolated from the figs of Ficus vallis-choudae Delile(Moraceae).Among the synthesized compounds,3 and 4 contain an indole *** structures were unambiguously assigned by spectroscopic and spectrometric techniques(1D-NMR,2D-NMR and MS).the starting material and the synthesized compounds were screened for UE inhibition activity,and showed significant activities with IC50 values ranging from 14.5 to 24.6 lM,with compound(1)being the most potent as compared to the positive control thiourea(IC50=21.6 lM).Amongst the synthetic derivatives,compound 4 was the most potent(IC50-=17.9 lM),while the others showed activities close to that of the *** addition,molecular docking study of target compounds 2–4 was performed in an attempt to explore their binding mode for the design of more potent UE inhibitors.
