Activator protein-1(AP-1)transcription factor is a key component of many signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of cellular processes and controls rapid responses of mammalian cells when exposed to the variety of *** phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate and Forskolin(Fo)are well-known kinase activators/stimulators of Protein Kinase C(PKC)and Protein Kinase A(PKA)***,these kinases are found to be present in transitional points of many cell signaling pathways,especially those involved in *** stimulating effect of PKC and PKA on the expression of AP-1 factors in MCF-7 breast cell proliferation is not well ***,the role of PKC by PMA treatment and the role of PKA by using Fo in MCF-7 cells is ***,cells treated with PMA showed increased cell proliferation,while Fo had no effect,but inhibited the PMA induced *** Rt-PCR results showed the PMA induced c-Jun,c-Fos and Fra-1 expressions compared to control and ***,Fo in combination with PMA,inhibit the PMA induced above mRNA expressions where Fo alone has no *** blot studies validated the c-Jun expressions in PMA treated MCF-7 ***,PMA increases the mRNA expression of Cyclin-E1,Cyclin-D1,and CDK-4,whereas Fo decreases their ***,mitogenic effect of PMA and inhibitory action of Fo on MCF-7 cells is probably enhanced via activation of AP-1 factors and concomitant action of cell cycle regulators in the downstream singling cascade.

Real time Speed Bump Detection Using gaussian Filtering and Connected Component Approach

An Intelligent transportation System (ItS) is a new system developed for the betterment of user in traffic and transport management domain area for smart and safe driving. ItS subsystems are Emergency vehicle notification systems, Automatic road enforcement, Collision avoidance systems, Automatic parking, Map database management, etc. Advance Driver Assists System (ADAS) belongs to ItS which provides alert or warning or information to the user during driving. the proposed method uses gaussian filtering and Median filtering to remove noise in the image. Subsequently image subtraction is achieved by subtracting Median filtered image from gaussian filtered image. the resultant image is converted to binary image and the regions are analyzed using connected component approach. the prior work on speed bump detection is achieved using sensors which are failed to detect speed bumps that are constructed with small height and the detection rate is affected due to erroneous identification. And the smartphone and accelerometer methodologies are not perfectly suitable for real time scenario due to gPS error, network overload, real-time delay, accuracy and battery running out. the proposed system goes very well for the roads which are constructed with proper painting irrespective of their dimension.

Occurrence and Emplacement of Chromite Ores in Sindhudurg District,Maharashtra,India

In the present study,we present the occurrence and emplacement of chromite ore deposits from two abandoned mines（Kankavali[Janoli]and Wagda） in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra,*** ores,that occurred as lenses and are associated with metamorphic and ultrabasic rocks,consist of octahedral grains of chromite,while clinochlore is present between the interstices of these *** Kankavali（Janoli） and Wagda ores revealed a dominance of Cr_2O_3 followed by FeO and variable proportions of A1_2O_3,MgO,and SiO_*** former deposits have a slightly higher Cr_2O_3（average 52 wt%） and FeO（～18 wt%） than those from Wagda（Cr_2O_3～50 wt%,FeO～25 wt%）.the similar Cr~# values（0.73 for Kankavali[Janoli],0.74 for Wagda） correspond to those reported for typical podiform-type chromite *** suggest that the ores were emplaced as phacoliths in folded outcrops with a steep easterly dip and a northwest-southeast *** postulate the continuation of the fold structure from Janoli to Wagda（～4.5 km apart） and the probable （sporadic） occurrence of chromite along this *** possibility of the contribution of chromite grains from these areas to the coastal placer deposits cannot be ruled out.

Coefficient Estimates for Certain Subclasses of Bi-Univalent Ma-Minda Mocanu-Convex Functions

In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new subclass of the function class ∑. of bi-univalent functions of the Mocanu-convex type defined in the open unit disk, satisfy Ma and Minda subordination conditions. Furthermore, we find estimates on the taylor-Maclaurin coefficients ｜a2｜ and ｜a3｜ for functions in the new subclass introduced here. Further Application of Hohlov operator to this class is obtained. Several （known or new） consequences of the results are also pointed out.

Early surveillance of rice bakanae disease using deep learning and hyperspectral imaging

Bakanae disease,caused by Fusarium fujikuroi,poses a significant threat to rice production and has been observed in most rice-growing *** disease symptoms caused by different pathogens may vary,including elongated and weak stems,slender and yellow leaves,and dwarfism,as *** disease is likely to cause necrosis of diseased seedlings,and it may cause a large area of infection in the field through the transmission of ***,early disease surveillance plays a crucial role in securing rice *** monitoring methods are both time-consuming and labor-intensive and cannot be broadly *** this study,a combination of hyperspectral imaging technology and deep learning algorithms were used to achieve in situ detection of rice seedlings infected with bakanae *** data were obtained on the 9th,15th,and 21st day after rice infection to explore the physiological and biochemical performance,which helps to deepen the research on the disease *** data were obtained over these same periods of infection,and a deep learning model,named Rice Bakanae Disease-Visual geometry group(RBD-Vgg),was established by leveraging hyperspectral imaging technology and deep learning *** on this model,an average accuracy of 92.2%was achieved on the 21st day of *** also achieved an accuracy of 79.4%as early as the 9th *** characteristic wavelengths were extracted to increase the feasibility of using portable spectral equipment for field ***,the model offers an efficient and non-destructive surveillance methodology for monitoring bakanae disease,thereby providing an efficient avenue for disease prevention and control.

A wideband rectangular patch antenna resonat- ing at 3.5 gHz and 8 gHz frequencies is developed on a flexible substrate, which can be used for wearable applications. the proposed antenna gives a wide impe- dance bandwidth of 116%, operating from *** to 9.5 gHz, covering most of the ultra-wideband （UWB） operating frequency range. A two-element multiple-input multiple-output （MIMO） system is developed using the proposed antenna, and the mutual coupling between the two antennas for various separations and frequencies is analyzed by using artificial neural networks （ANNs）. the neural structure is trained by using different ANN algorithms and a comparative study is made between them. It is shown that, quasi-Newton （QN） and quasi- Newton multi layer perceptron （QN-MLP） algorithms are better in terms of training, testing errors, and correlation coefficient.

Several medicines obtained from Pyrrhoderma mushrooms are widely used against several diseases throughout the ***,in preparation of crude drugs/folk medicines of mushroom *** noxium collected from Krishna district,Andhra Pradesh,India was studied and identified *** present work aims to test the presence of Mycochemicals and proximate composition for standardization of powder of *** solvents used for extraction and method of extraction played a vital role on mycochemical and proximate composition of *** *** maceration water bath assisted extraction method is the best extraction method compared to maceration and Reflux extraction methods for all parameters studied in this *** present study shows the extraction method and type of solvent influencing the presence of mycochemical composition like alkaloids,carbohydrates,phenols,flavonoids,tannins,terpenoids,diterpenoids,and anthocyanin in hymenochaetales *** proximate composition evaluation is very much useful for standardisation of *** in powder *** will help to identify the genuine species and check for adulteration of powder available commercially.

AIM: to estimate the frequency of microdeletions in the long arm of Y-chromosome of 20 infertile males from South India. MEtHODS: Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification using Y-specific StS of azoospermia factor (AZF) regions i.e., SY 84 for AZFa, SY 127 for AZFb and SY 254 for AZFc. RESULtS: Of the 20 infertile subjects 3 (15 %), one azoospermic and two oligozoospermic, showed microdeletions in the AZF region of Y-chromosome. CONCLUSION: the frequency of deletions involving AZF region of the Y-chromosome is 15 % in azoospermic and severely oligozoospermic infertile men. PCR amplification of AZF locus is useful for the diagnosis of microdeletions in the Y-chromosome.

Objective:the study aims to describe Quality of Life of Patients with Hypertension and its ***:the study was descriptive cross sectional involving 237 patients with hypertension attending outpatient department of Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and transplant *** was collected by interview technique using SF-36 *** data was analyzed using SPSS version 16 and p valuest-test,ANOVA and multiple linear regression was used for statistical *** quality of life was determined by Physical Component Summary(PCS)and Mental Component Summary(MCS).Result:In multivariate analysis,increasing age(CI:-4.47 to-1.48,ptal status(CI:-6.18 to-2.53,ptional status(CI:1.11e-2.04,ptrongly associated with PCS ***,marital status(CI:-15.173 to-11.782,ptional status(CI:0.27-1.07,p=0.001)were predictor of MCS ***:this study identified increasing age,non formal education,being single to be associated with lower quality of *** for most vulnerable group of the hypertensive patient might be done and evaluated which in turns helps to take necessary intervention for hypertension.
