Pharmacokinetics and Bioequivalence of Dienogest in Healthy Bangladeshi Female Volunteers: An Open-Label, Single-Dose, Randomized, two-Way Crossover Study

Background: Dienogest is a potential treatment for pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, a condition of significant concern in gynaecology. the current study was conducted as a crossover-randomized bioequivalence assessment of two oral Dienogest 2 mg formulations, aiming to provide valuable insights for healthcare professionals and researchers in this field. Objective: the primary aim of this research was to evaluate and compare the pharmacokinetic characteristics of Dienogest 2 mg tablets. Dinogest (Dienogest 2 mg) tablets, manufactured by Nuvista Pharma Limited in Bangladesh, and Visanne (Dienogest 2 mg) tablets, manufactured by Bayer Pharma in Germany, were the test and reference formulations, respectively. Materials and Method: the study was an open-label, balanced, randomized, two treatments, two sequences, two periods, two-way crossover, laboratory blind, single oral dose bioequivalence study conducted in healthy adult females under fasting conditions. the study was carried out on 13 healthy, non-pregnant female subjects, and all the subjects completed both study periods with a 15-day washout in between. Randomization was used to assign the test and reference formulations to the subjects. Following each oral administration, a series of blood samples were obtained at different time intervals from pre-dose to 72 hours post-dose and analyzed for Dienogest concentrations using a validated bio-analytical method. A standard non-compartmental model was used to analyze the pharmacokinetic parameters. the primary pharmacokinetic parameters were peak plasma drug concentration (Cmax), the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time zero to time t (AUC0–t), and AUC from t = 0 to infinity (AUC0–∞). the other PK parameters included time to reach Cmax (tmax), terminal elimination rate constant (Kel), and half-life (t1/2). Fuzzy Based Interleaved Step-up Converter for Electric Vehicle

Fuel is a very important factor and has considerable inﬂuence on the air quality in the environment,which is the heart of the *** increase of vehi-cles in lived-in areas results in greater emission of carbon particles in the *** fuel causes more contaminated particles to mix with breathing air and becomes the main source of dangerous *** is the mixing of foreign substances in fuel,which damages vehicles and causes more health problems in living beings such as humans,birds,aquatic life,and even water resources by emitting high levels of hydrocarbons,nitrogen oxides,and carbon *** frequent blending liquids are lubricants and kerosene in the petrol,and its adulteration is a considerable problem that adds to environ-mental *** study focuses on detecting the adulteration in petrol using sensors and machine learning algorithms.A modiﬁed evanescent wave opticalﬁber sensor with discrete wavelet transform is proposed for classiﬁcation of adult-erated data from the ***,support vector machine classiﬁer is used for accurate *** sensor isﬁrst tested with fuel and numerical data is classiﬁed based on machine learning ***,the result is eval-uated with less error and high accuracy of 99.9%,which is higher than all existing techniques.

Single-source Switched-capacitor Boost Nine-level Inverter with Reduced Components

Increasing demands for improvement in power quality and power capacity have contributed to development of switched-capacitor multilevel inverters(SCMLIs).Recently developed SCMLIs enable single-stage voltage boosting,as well as inversion resulting in step-up ac *** reduction in number of components,this paper introduces a boost type singlesource nine-level(9-level)SCMLI employing two capacitors and three *** to the series-parallel connection process,capacitor voltages are inherently balanced and assist in quadruple voltage boosting from a *** voltage stress across semiconductor devices is limited to twice input voltage *** a minimum number of components,the proposed SCMLI can be extended to increase voltage levels without additional dc *** extension module adds two additional voltage steps in the output while maintaining maximum voltage stress the same as 9-level *** by in-depth analysis of circuit operation and power losses,a thorough comparison of recently developed single-phase 9-level MLIs is carried out,which verifies design *** simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the prominent features of the 9-level SCMLI under dynamic operating conditions.

In vitro and in vivo anticancer activity of Indigofera cassioides ***. DC.

Objective:to evaluate the antitumor,cytotoxic and antioxidant activities of methanolic leaf extract of Indigofera cassioides(MEIC) against transplantable tumors and human cancer cell ***:MEIC was investigated for its short term cytotoxicity on EAC and DLA cells by trypan blue dye exclusion method and in vitro cytotoxicity on HeLa,HEp-2,HEpG-2,MCF-7, Ht-29,Vero and NIH 3t3 cells by Mtt *** vivo antitumor activity was studied on EAC and DLA tumor bearing *** was assessed by monitoring the mean survival time,effect on hematological parameters,antioxidant enzyme levels and solid tumor ***:MEIC exhibit potent in vitro cytotoxicity against all the tested cancer cell lines,but it was found to be safe on normal *** extract significantly(P<0.001) increase the mean survival time and also have a protective effect on the hemopoietic system at the tested dose levels(200 and 400 mg/kg). the extract prevented lipid peroxidation and restored the antioxidant enzymes catalase, superoxide dismutase,glutathione peroxidase and glutathione-s-transferase in the liver of tumor control *** also significandy(P<0.01) reduce the solid tumor ***:the results strongly support that MEIC shows potent antitumor and cytotoxic effects against EAC,DLA and human cancer cell *** extract prevents lipid peroxidation and promotes the enzymatic antioxidant defense system in tumor bearing animals which might be due to activities like scavenging of free radicals by the phytochemicals in MEIC.

Synthesis of Aligned ZnO Nanorod Array on Silicon and Sapphire Substrates by thermal Evaporation technique

High density ZnO nanorods were grown by thermal evaporation of Zn powder at 700℃ on Si （100） and sapphire （0001） substrates at atmospheric pressure without adding any catalyst. the nanorods were characterizated in terms of their structural and optical properties. the nanorods grown on Si have a diameter of 350-400 nm and a length of 1.2 μm while those on sapphire have a diameter of 600-800 nm and a length of 2.5 μm. During the structural characterization, it is noticed that the rods grow along the （0002） plane with perfect hexagonal facet. the room temperature photoluminescence spectrum showed a strong UV emission peak at 385 nm with a weak green band emission, which confirms that nanorods have good optical properties. It is observed that the oxygen partial pressure plays an important role to control the shape and size of the nanorods in thermal evaporation growth technique.

the nonlinear optical properties of a magneto-exciton in a strained Ga_(0.2)In_(0.8)As/GaAs quantum dot

the magnetic field-dependent heavy hole excitonic states in a strained ***/GaAs quantum dot are investi- gated by taking into account the anisotropy, non-parabolicity of the conduction band, and the geometrical confinement. the strained quantum dot is considered as a parabolic dot of InAs embedded in a GaAs barrier material. the dependence of the effective excitonic g-factor as a function of dot radius and the magnetic field strength is numerically measured. the interband optical transition energy as a function of geometrical confinement is computed in the presence of a mag- netic field. the magnetic field-dependent oscillator strength of interband transition under the geometrical confinement is studied. the exchange enhancements as a function of dot radius are observed for various magnetic field strengths in a strained ***/GaAs quantum dot. Heavy hole excitonic absorption spectra, the changes in refractive index, and the third-order susceptibility of third-order harmonic generation are investigated in the Gao.2Ino.8As/GaAs quantum dot. the result shows that the effect of magnetic field strength is more strongly dependent on the nonlinear optical property in a low-dimensional semiconductor system.

Optical properties of excitons in strained Ga_x In_1-x As/GaAs quantum dot: effect of geometrical confinement on exciton g-factor

taking into account anisotropy, nonparabolicity of the conduction band, and geometrical confinement, we discuss the heavy-hole excitonic states in a strained GaxIn1-xAs/GaAs quantum dot for various Ga alloy contents. the strained quantum dot is considered as a spherical InAs dot surrounded by a GaAs barrier material. the dependence of the effective excitonic g-factor as a function of dot radius and Ga ion content is numerically measured. Interband optical energy with and without the parabolic effect is computed using structural confinement. the interband matrix element for different Ga concentrations is also calculated. the oscillator strength of interband transitions on the dot radius is studied at different Ga concentrations in the GaxIn1-xAs/GaAs quantum dot. Heavy-hole excitonic absorption spectra are recorded for various Ga alloy contents in the GaxIn1-xAs/GaAs quantum dot. Results show that oscillator strength diminishes when dot size decreases because of the dominance of the quantum size effect. Furthermore, exchange enhancement and exchange sDlitting increase as exciton confinement inereases.
