Hybrid materials collected from organic and inorganic sources,which are traditionally used as brake lining materials,generally include fly ash,cashew shell powder,phenolic resins,aluminium wool,barites,lime powder,carbon powder and copper *** present research focuses on the specific effects produced by fly ash and aims to provide useful indications for the replacement of asbestos due to the health hazards caused by the related ***,the financial implications related to the use of large-volume use of fly ash,lime stone and cashew shell powder,readily available in most countries in the world,are also *** is shown that many manufacturing and automotive industries,which are currently experiencing difficulties in meeting the increasing demand for brake lining material,may take advantage from the proposed solution.

Signal to noise ratio in ultrasound medical images captured through the digital camera is poorer,resulting in an inaccurate *** a result,it needs an efﬁcient despeckling method for ultrasound images in clinical practice and *** article proposes a novel adaptive fuzzyﬁlter based on the direc-tionality and translation invariant property of the Non-Sub sampled Contour-let transform(NSCt).Since speckle-noise causes fuzziness in ultrasound images,fuzzy logic may be a straightforward technique to derive the output from the noisy ***ﬁltering method comprises detection andﬁltering ***,image regions classify at the detection stage by applying fuzzy inference to the directional difference obtained from the NSCt noisy ***,the system adaptively selects the better-suitedﬁlter for the speciﬁc image region,resulting in signiﬁcant speckle noise suppression and retention of detailed *** suggested approach uses a weighted averageﬁlter to distinguish between noise and edges at theﬁltering *** addition,we apply a structural similarity mea-sure as a tuning parameter depending on the kind of noise in the ultrasound *** proposed methodology shows that the proposed fuzzy adaptiveﬁlter effectively suppresses speckle noise while preserving edges and image detailed structures compared to existing approaches.

Hepatoprotective activity of brown alga Padina boergesenii against CCl_4 induced oxidative damage in Wistar rats

Objective:to investigate the protective effects of brown alga Padina boergesenii（***） against carbon tetrachloride（CCl4） induced oxidative damage and liver fibrosis in ***: to assess the hepatic damage liver weight,the activities of tBARS level,glutathione,SOD,CAt and GPx in circulation and ***:the group of rats induced with CCl4 alone（2 mL/kg body weight）,showed noticeable increase in the liver weight and tBARS *** by, the level of antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase,Superoxide dismutase and catalase was also significantly（P<0.01） *** as,the rats pretreated with ***（150 mg/ kg body weight） modulated the CCl4 induced liver *** level of antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation products was found to be significandy（P<0.01） attenuated to near normal level, when compared with rats induced with CCL,*** order to assess the role of carotenoids in the relevant activity,total carotenoid content of the extract was analysed and found to be 0.59 mg/g fresh weight（FW）.Further,the histopathogical studies provide a supportive evidence for this study to show the protective nature of ***:the protective role of brown alga *** extract has confirmed its potential activity through its antioxidant sparing actions against CCl4 induced free radical ***,the possible mechanism of hepatoprotection is rather speculative at this stage and investigations are underway to isolate and characterize the bioactive compounds from ***.

As SARS-CoV-2 continues to spread and evolve,detecting emerging variants early is critical for public health *** lineage prevalence by clinical testing is infeasible at scale,especially in areas with limited resources,participation,or testing/sequencing capacity,which can also introduce ***-CoV-2 RNA concentration in wastewater successfully tracks regional infection dynamics and provides less biased abundance estimates than clinical testing4,*** virus genomic sequences in wastewater would improve community prevalence estimates and detect emerging variants.

Enterprises have extensively taken on cloud computing environment since it provides on-demand virtualized cloud application *** scheduling of the cloud tasks is a well-recognized NP-hard *** task scheduling problem is convoluted while convincing different objectives,which are dispute in *** this paper,Multi-Objective Improved Monarch Butterfly Optimization(MOIMBO)algorithm is applied to solve multi-objective task scheduling problems in the cloud in preparation for Pareto optimal *** different dispute objectives,such as makespan,reliability,and resource utilization,are deliberated for task scheduling *** Epsilonfuzzy dominance sort method is utilized in the multi-objective domain to elect the foremost solutions from the Pareto optimal solution ***,together with the Self Adaptive and Greedy Strategies,have been incorporated to enrich the performance of the proposed *** capability and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are measured with NSGA-II and MOPSO *** simulation results prompt that the proposed MOIMBO algorithm extensively diminishes the makespan,maximize the reliability,and guarantees the appropriate resource utilization when associating it with identified existing algorithms.

Reinforcement Learning Based Controller Synthesis for Flexible Aircraft Wings

Aeroelastic study of flight vehicles has been a subject of great interest and research in the last several years. Aileron reversal and flutter related problems are due in part to the elasticity of a typical airplane. Structural dynamics of an aircraft wing due to its aeroelastic nature are characterized by partial differential equations. Controller design for these systems is very complex as compared to lumped parameter systems defined by ordinary differential equations. In this paper, a stabilizing statefeedback controller design approach is presented for the heave dynamics of a wing-fuselage model. In this study, a continuous actuator in the spatial domain is assumed. A control methodology is developed by combining the technique of “proper orthogonal decomposition” and approximate dynamic programming. the proper orthogonal decomposition technique is used to obtain a low-order nonlinear lumped parameter model of the infinite dimensional system. then a near optimal controller is designed using the single-network-adaptive-critic technique. Furthermore,to add robustness to the nominal single-network-adaptive-critic controller against matched uncertainties, an identifier based adaptive controller is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the single-network-adaptive-critic controller augmented with adaptive controller for infinite dimensional systems.

本文对化学镀镍及化学镀镍磷基质中SiO2与Cr2O3的共沉积进行了研究。微粒在不断生长的膜层中共沉积引起了新的化学复合镀层的出现,这些复合镀层许多都具有优异的耐磨及耐蚀性能。通过选取镀层合金/复合微粒/金属基体的组分可改进镀层,获得所需的性能,以满足特别的需求。在对这些复合镀层的应用需求正在迫近与增长的同时,其市场正在迅速扩张。本文开发出了一种合适的复合化学镀镍液,并通过维氏硬度法对化学复合镀镍层进行了表征。采用动电位极化及交流阻抗法测定了镀层的taber耐磨性能及耐蚀性能。采用SEM及XRD对复合镀层的表面形貌进行了分析。

In power system studies, congestion in trans- mission lines and utilization of flexible alternating current transmission system （FACtS） devices are closely associated. these devices are very important due to their role in power delivery system enhancement. It is to be noted that the generation companies can exercise their market power which depends on the line flows, line constraints, generators＇ location and its share to the individual loads. this issue cannot be overlooked as it creates monopoliness which is against the deregulated market policy. the objective of this paper is to study the impact of market power when FACtS devices like thyristor controlled switching capacitor （tCSC） and thyristor controlled phase angle regulator （tCPAR） are used under steady state operation. the market power is determined using nodal must-run share （NMRS） index for the standard IEEE 14- bus system with and without the above FACtS devices and the results obtained are compared. All the above simula- tions are conducted in a MAtLAB 7.9-R2009b environment.
