Ruminants utilize a wide variety of dietary substrates that are not digestible by the mammals, through microbial fermentation taking place in the rumen. Recent advanced molecular based approaches have allowed the characterization of rumen microbiota and its compositional changes under various treatment ***, the knowledge is still limited on the impacts of variations in the rumen microbiota on host biology and function. this review summarizes the information to date on host-microbial interactions in the rumen and how we can apply such information to seek the opportunities to enhance the animal performance through manipulating the rumen function.

Although amniotic membrane transplantation(AMt)has long been used as an essential surgical technique for ocular surface reconstruction,its role continues to evolve and *** the management of numerous ocular surface disorders,ranging from inflammatory to infectious,traumatic to neoplastic,the ability to perform AMt is a valuable addition to the skillset of any *** purpose of this paper is to provide ophthalmologists with an updated,evidence-based review of the clinical indications for AMt in corneal and conjunctival reconstruction,reviewing its common and even experimental applications known to *** methods of amniotic membrane preservation,the available commercial amniotic membrane products to date,and future directions for amniotic membrane use,including amniotic membrane extract eye drops(AMEED),are also *** is paramount for ophthalmologists to stay up-to-date on the applications of AMt so as to effectively incorporate this versatile treatment modality into their practice,both in the operating room and in the *** familiarizing the general ophthalmologist with its diverse applications,we hope to motivate general ophthalmologists to incorporate the use of AMt into their clinical practice,or provide guidance on how to recognize when referral to a corneal specialist for amniotic membrane application is prudent.

Solar coronal loops show significant plasma motions during their formation and eruption stages. Dynamic cool coronal structures, on the other hand, are often observed to propagate along coronal loops. We report on the discovery of two types of dynamic cool coronal structures, and characterize their fundamental properties. Using the EUV 304 A images from the Extreme UltraViolet Imager （EUVI） telescope on the Solar tErrestrial RElation Observatory （StEREO） and the Ca Ⅱ filtergrams from the Solar Optical telescope （SOt） instrument on Hinode, we study the evolution of an EUV arch and the kinematics of cool coronal structures. the EUV 304A observations show that a missile-like plasmoid moves along an arch-shaped trajectory, with an average velocity of 31 km s^- 1. About three hours later, a plasma arch forms along the trajectory, subsequently the top part of the arch fades away and disappears; meanwhile the plasma belonging to the two legs of the arch flows downward to the arch＇s feet. During the arch formation and disappearance, SOt Ca Ⅱ images explore dynamic cool coronal structures beneath the arch. By tracking these structures, we classify them into two types. type I is thread- like in shape and flows downward with a greater average velocity of 72 km s-l; finally it combines with a loop fibril at a chromospheric altitude. type Ⅱ is shape-transformable and sometimes rolling as it flows downward with a smaller velocity of 37 km s-1, then disappears insularly in the chromosphere. It is suggested that the two types of structures are possibly controlled by different magnetic configurations.

Introduction the health benefits of consuming aquatic organisms are clear,given their high protein count,low saturated fats,and low cholesterol ***,in particular,contains valuable nutrients(e.g.,omega-3 polyunsaturated fats),vitamins,essential elements,and is therefore considered an important part of a balanced human *** is a major seafood producer,accounting for 58%of global production in 2018(Crona et al.,2020).China is the largest seafood consuming country in the world,with consumption rates steadily *** the 1978 Chinese economic reform,the amount of seafood consumed per capita in China increased from 5 kg per capita in 1980 to 41 kg in 2015(Zhang et al.,2021).By 2030,the overall amount of fish consumption will likely exceed the amount of fish production in China.

this paper studies the problem of H∞ control for discrete-time talagi-Sugeno (t-S) fuzzy systems with time *** t-S fuzzy system is transformed to an equivalent switching fuzzy ***,the delay-dependent stabilization criteria with H∞ performance are derived for the switching fuzzy systems based on the piecewise Lyapunov *** proposed conditions are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).the interactions among the fuzzy subsystems are considered in each subregion,and accordingly the proposed conditions are less conservative than the previous ***,a design example is given to show the validity of the proposed method.

Although it is now known that the human body is colonized by a wide variety of microbial populations in different parts(such as the mouth, pharynx and respiratory system, the skin, the gastro- and urogenital tracts), many effects of the complex interactions between the human host and microbial symbionts are still not completely understood. the dysbiosis of the gastrointestinal tract microbiota is considered to be one of the most important contributing factors in the development of many gastrointestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and colorectal cancer, as well as systemic diseases like obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Fecal microbial transplantations appear to be promising therapies for dysbiosis-associated diseases; however, probiotic microorganisms have been growing in popularity due to increasing numbers of studies proving that certain strains present health promoting properties, among them the beneficial balance of the intestinal microbiota. Inflammatory bowel diseases andobesity are the pathologies in which there are more studies showing this beneficial association using animal models and even in human clinical *** this review,the association of the human gut microbiota and human health will be discussed along with the benefits that probiotics can confer on this symbiotic activity and on the prevention or treatment of associated diseases.

We first study the Volterra operator V acting on spaces of Dirichlet *** prove that V is bounded on the Hardy space H_(0)^(p)for any 0t on H_(0)^(p)for 1thermore,we show that V is cyclic but not supercyclic on H_(0)^(p)for any 0ts are also given for V acting on Bergman spaces H_(w,0)^(p).We then study the Volterra type integration operators t_(g).We prove that if t_(g)is bounded on the Hardy space H_(p),then it is bounded on the Bergman space H_(w)^(p).

Objective:to evaluate the effects of wedelolactone,a major flavonoid from Vietnamese Eclipta prostrata(L)L.,on inflammation and insulin ***:Wedelolactone was extracted from the leaves of Vietnamese Eclipta prostrata(L.)*** methanol by *** effects of wedelolactone on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced cytokine production,reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation,and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH)oxidase activities in Raw 264.7 cells were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),specific immunofluorescent dyes and luminometric analysis,*** addition,its effects on glucose uptake and the protein expression of insulin receptor substrate 1(IRS1)and glucose transporter 4(GLUt4)were examined in 3t3-L1 cells by immunofluorescent dyes and Western ***:Wedelolactone at 30μg/mL significantly inhibited LPS-induced production of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin(IL)-6,and IL-8(Pth no noticeable effects on IL-10 *** also reduced ROS generation and NADPH oxidase activities in LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells(Pthermore,wedelolactone showed anti-insulin resistance activity,as evidenced by improved glucose uptake and the upregulated expression of IRS1 and GLUt4 in 3t3-L1 cells(Ptone exhibits anti-inflammation and anti-insulin resistance effects,which may be used for the treatment of diabetes and inflammation-associated diseases.
