Background Primary eosinophilic gast.oint.st.nal disorders(EGIDs)const.t.t. chronic allergic *** number of eosinophils is one of t.e diagnost.c crit.ria;more t.an 20 eosinophils per high-power field(HPF)in t.e gast.oint.st.nal(GI)t.act.are considered abnormal in ***,t.e quant.t. of eosinophils considered normal varies according t. anat.mical locat.on and geographical region;such values have not.been report.d in Japanese pediat.ic pat.ent.,nor have t.e numbers of lymphocyt.s in t.e normal pediat.ic *** est.blish a reference for defining diagnost.c crit.ria for EGIDs,we evaluat.d t.e number of eosinophils in t.e normal Japanese pediat.ic GI *** We examined 131 biopsy cases wit.out.significant.clinical hist.ry,endoscopic abnormalit.,or hist.logical *** analysis of CD3 and CD20 was *** t.e mean eosinophil densit. was highest.in t.e cecum(49.5±22.4 per HPF).Count. of more t.an 20 eosinophils per HPF were observed in t.e duodenum[bulb(20.0±9.6)and second port.on(30.0±15.8)],t.rminal ileum(38.3±22.7),cecum(49.5±22.4),ascending colon(42.3±25.3),t.ansverse colon(29.4±17.0),and descending colon(32.2±17.9).Count. of fewer t.an 10 eosinophils per HPF were observed in t.e st.mach and rect.m;a count.of fewer t.an one eosinophil per HPF was observed in t.e *** t.an 100 CD3-posit.ve t.cells per HPF were observed in t.e *** t.e mean numbers of eosinophils in t.e bowel were great.r t.an 20 per *** Japanese pediat.ics,t.e cur-rent.t.reshold eosinophil count.should be revised.

AIM： t. evaluat. t.e effect.of sorafenib in murine high risk kerat.plast. model. ~ MEt.ODS： Graft.survival, corneal neovascularizat.on, and corneal lymphangiogenesis were compared among t.e sorafenib, dexamet.asone, dimet.yl sulfoxide （DMSO）, and phosphat. buffered saline （PBS） groups following subconjunct.val inject.on in mice t.at.underwent.high risk penet.at.ng kerat.plast. （HRPK）. Real-t.me polymerase chain react.on was performed t. quant.fy t.e expression of inflammat.ry cyt.kines and vascular endot.elial growt. fact.r （VEGF）-A, VEGF-C, vascular endot.elial growt. fact.r recept.r （VEGFR）-2, VEGFR-3. RESULt.： t.e t.o-mont. graft.survival rat. for HRPK was 42.86% in sorafenib group, 37.50% in dexamet.asone group, 0 in DMSO group, and 0 in PBS group. Sorafenib significant.y increased graft.survival compared t. t.e DMSO and PBS group （P〈0.05）. t.e sorafenib didn＇t.show significant.effect.in decreasing neovascularizat.on compared wit. dexamet.sone, DMSO, and PBS group. t.e sorafenib showed less t.t.l lymphangiogenesis t.an t.e dexamet.asone, DMSO, and PBS group （P=0.011, P〈0.001, P〈0.001, respect.vely）. t.e sorafenib group showed reduced expression of VEGF-C, t.mor necrosis fact.r （t.F）-alpha, int.rleukin （IL）-6, VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 compared wit. DMSO group and PBS group （all P〈0.05）. t.e sorafenib group didn＇t.show difference in t.e expression of VEGF-A compared wit. DMSO, neit.er wit.PBS. t.e sorafenib group showed reduced expression of VEGFR-3 compared wit. dexamet.asone （/〉=-0.051）. CONCLUSION： t.e subconjunct.vally administ.red sorafenib shows significant.ant.-lymphangiogenic effect. result.ng in increased t.ansplant.survival in a murine high risk kerat.plast. model. 目的:老年人口的增加给公共健康带来了巨大的影响。了解老年人群骨骼肌肉疾病的进展情况非常重要。他们通常罹患多种健康问题且不断发展而处于一种复杂的状态之下。对于这些处于这样境况的病人而言,单纯分析某一种疾病的影响是不够的。...

目的:老年人口的增加给公共健康带来了巨大的影响。了解老年人群骨骼肌肉疾病的进展情况非常重要。他们通常罹患多种健康问题且不断发展而处于一种复杂的状态之下。对于这些处于这样境况的病人而言,单纯分析某一种疾病的影响是不够的。例如,在过去,我们对于背痛(腰部脊椎炎)和膝关节疼痛(骨性关节炎)积累了大量的数据。但是,我们需要进一步证实作为一种单纯的存在资料,对于正在步入老年的人而言是否仍有参考价值。这项研究的目的是从数学分析角度调查在老年人群中,后背与腰部的疼痛与病理生理学改变的关系的假设是否具有相关性。方法:我们募集了年龄在65岁到93岁间的314人,取自于5个矫形外科诊所的门诊和相关老年护理机构的病人。对他们随访并检查3次。收集不同的生物学数据包括既往史、小型体格检查、脊柱和膝关节X光、一些实验室检查、日常起居活动能力和社会参与度。就目前的调查数据看,我们的主要关注点放在疼痛区域(背痛、臀部痛、大腿痛、膝关节痛)与X线表现(计算机辅助定量诊断)的相互关系上。结果:对于疼痛而言,研究显示其分布的广泛性和复合性。有意思的是,腰背痛与膝关节痛具有高度的发生一致性,达2/3。在治疗的过程中疼痛呈现出不同的表现。在治疗期间,背痛与膝痛表现出同时的减轻,这令人吃惊,但臀部痛和大腿痛却无明显的改善。X线评估方面,我们评估了膝关节骨性关节炎和腰部脊椎炎之间的定量关系。结果显示t.2/L2的椎间盘高度与膝关节疼痛具有明显的关系。在这些部位的椎间盘。通过L3椎体后缘标准化后的L2/L3的椎间盘高度与膝关节内侧间隙具有显著的相关性。在一例L2与L3腰椎间盘高度比例小于28%,且膝关节内侧间隙面积小于66 mm2的病例中,膝比例为16.1。结论:我们发现(1)L1/L23/L4椎间盘高度与膝关节疼痛有相关性,(2)在这些椎间盘中,L2/L3椎间盘的高度与膝关节内侧间隙有强烈的相关性,(3)可以计算出很高比率的膝关节疼痛。

Bone marrow lesions (BMLs) on magnet.c resonance (MR) images in knee ost.oart.rit.s pat.ent. are considered t. predict.t.e severit. and progression of t.e disease. We evaluat.d t.e hist.logical findings of BMLs on MR images of t.e subchondral area of t.e medial femoral condyle in varus ost.oart.rit.c knees. In 24 pat.ent. wit. varus knee ost.oart.rit.s who underwent.t.t.l knee art.roplast. (t.A), sagit.al t.- and t.-weight.d MR images of t.e affect.d knee were acquired before t.A. During t.A, resect.d bone pieces from t.e dist.l medial femoral condyle were obt.ined. Sagit.al specimens obt.ined from t.e cent.r of t.e bone pieces were hist.logically examined. t.ent. pat.ent. had BMLs. Hist.logical findings of BMLs in t.e subchondral area showed various feat.res, such as fibrovascular t.ssue, cyst.format.on, act.ve bone remodeling wit. bone format.on and bone resorpt.on, and hyaline cart.lage. BMLs were not.found in four pat.ent.;hist.logical findings of t.ese pat.ent. showed normal bone marrow t.ssue wit. normal-t.ickness t.abeculae. Subchondral bony end plat. in knees wit. BMLs was usually t.in or dest.oyed, while t.at.wit.out.BMLs was t.ick or normal. t.e condit.on of t.e subchondral bony end plat. would explain t.e differences in t.e severit. and progression bet.een pat.ent. wit. or wit.out.BMLs.
