An integrated Plate Mill has started it’s operation on July 7,2010 in Gwangyang Steelworks,*** production capability is about 2.5 million tons per year and the main stream consists of Blast Furnace,Hot metal pretreatment （KR）,Converter,Bubbling Station,RH/VTD and Continuous ***,it is possible to control sulfur concentration at excellent level in BOF without any further treatment in LF or VTD,which is attained by unique KR process and scrap usage strategy in *** this paper,desulfurization efficiency and steel cleanliness was introduced by optimizing flux amount during tapping in BOF *** addition,the effect of the flux addition on the refractory of ladle was investigated based on EPMA analyses with the viewpoint of phase *** cleanliness of each sample was examined using optical emission spectrometry and oxygen nitrogen determinator.

Commercial buildings account for significant portions of the total building energy in South Korea and thus a variety of research on the boiler operation related to heating energy in office buildings has been carried out thus far. However, most of the researches have been conducted on the boiler itself, i.e., the part load ratio characteristics and the corresponding gas energy consumption patterns are not analyzed in the existing studies. In this study, the part load ratio and the operating characteristics of gas boiler have been analyzed within an office building equipped with the conventional variable air volume system. In addition, the gas consumption among different boiler staging schemes has been comparatively analyzed. As a result, significant portions of total operating hours, heating load and energy consumption has been found to be in a part load ratio range of 0 through 40% and thus energy consumption is significantly affected by boiler efficiency at low part load conditions. This suggests that boiler operation at the part load is an important factor in commercial buildings. In addition, utilizing sequential boiler staging scheme can save a gas usage of about 7%. For annual heating energy saving, applying the sequential control boiler with a 3:7 proportion staging is considered to be the optimal control algorithm for maximum efficiency of boilers.

In the recent years, transition-metal dichalcogenides such as moS2 have attracted considerable attention owing to their unique structure and electronic properties. Chemical vapor deposition （CVD） is a popular method for producing moS2 flakes with different shapes. Here, we report an effective method for achieving a broad range of shape evolution in CVD-grown monolayer moS2 flakes. By controlling the S and moO3 temperatures, the shape of the monolayer moS2 flakes was varied from hexagonal to triangular via intermediate shapes such as truncated and multi-apex triangles. The shape evolution of the moS2 flakes can be explained by introducing the term “nominal mo：S ratio”, which refers to the amount of loaded moO3 and evaporated S powders. By using the nominal mo：S ratio, we predicted the potential reaction atmosphere and effectively controlled the actual proportion of moO3-x with respect to S in the growth region, along with the growth temperature. From the systematic investigation of the behavior of the shape evolution, we developed a shape-evolution diagram, which can be used as a practical guide for producing CVD-grown moS2 flakes with desired shapes

Soil salinity is one of the most serious agricultural problems that significantly reduce crop yields in the aridand semi-arid regions. It influences various phases of plant growth and developmental processes, such as seed germina-tion, leaf and stem growth, and reproductive propagation. Salt stress delays the onset of flowering in many plant spe-cies. We have previously reported that the Arabidopsis BROTHER OF FT AND TFL1 （BFT） acts as a floral repressor undersalt stress. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the BFT function in the salt regulation of flowering inductionis unknown. In this work, we found that BFT delays flowering under high salinity by competing with FLOWERING LOCUST （FT） for binding to the FD transcription factor. The flowering time of FD-deficient fd-2 mutant was insensitive to highsalinity. BFT interacts with FD in the nucleus via the C-terminal domain of FD, which is also required for the interactionof FD with FT, and interferes with the FT-FD interaction. These observations indicate that BFT constitutes a distinct saltstress signaling pathway that modulates the function of the FT-FD module and possibly provides an adaptation strategythat fine-tunes photoperiodic flowering under high salinity.

OBJECTIVE: To collect preliminary data on the effects of Saam acupuncture with regard to the immunity in cancer ***: Ten cancer patients were analyzed for improvements in immunity. Acupuncture was applied at the 5 acupuncture points, Jingqu(LU 8), Zutonggu(BL 66), Yanggu(SI 5), Yangchi(TE 4), and Zhongwan(CV 12) for 2 weeks with 4 sessions. We assessed the effect of Korean Saam acupuncture on the immune system in cancer patients by measuring particular blood cell subsets, including CD3 +,CD4+, CD8+, CD19+, and CD56+ cells, as well as total white blood cell count, absolute neutrophil count, and fatigue score. The measurement was performed before and after acupuncture and at a 2-week ***: There was a statistically significant increase in the number of CD3+(P=0.023) and CD8+ cells(P<0.001) and T-cell subsets, as well as a decrease in the fatigue severity scale(FSS) score(P=0.001) after Saam acupuncture using the 5 ***: Acupuncture may improve the immune system by increasing the counts of a few immune cells and relieve fatigue in cancer patients by decreasing FSS scores. Although this was a non-controlled study, it constitutes preliminary research investigating the potential effects of Saam acupuncture in increasing the counts of several immune cells in cancer patients.

Recently developed time-of-flight principle based depth-sensing video camera technologies provide precise per-pixel range data in addition to color video. Such cameras will find application in robotics and vision-based human computer interaction scenarios such as games and gesture input systems. Time-of-flight principle range cameras are becoming more and more available. They promise to make the 3D reconstruction of scenes easier, avoiding the practical issues resulting from 3D imaging techniques based on triangulation or disparity estimation. A spatial touch system was presented which uses a depth-sensing camera to touch spatial objects and details on its implementation, and how this technology will enable new spatial interactions was speculated.

The homeostatic balance between effector T cells and regulatory T cells(Tregs)is crucial for adaptive immunity;however,epigenetic programs that inhibit phosphorylation to regulate Treg development,peripheral expression,and suppressive activity are ***,we found that the Ssu72 phosphatase is activated by various T-cell receptor signaling pathways,including the T-cell receptor and IL-2R pathways,and localizes at the cell *** of Ssu72 in T cells disrupts CD4+T-cell differentiation into Tregs in the periphery via the production of high levels of the effector cytokines IL-2 and IFNγ,which induce CD4+T-cell activation and differentiation into effector cell *** also found a close correlation between downregulation of Ssu72 and severe defects in mucosal tolerance in ***,Ssu72 forms a complex with PLCγ1,which is an essential effector molecule for T-cell receptor signaling as well as Treg development and ***72 deficiency impairs PLCγ1 downstream signaling and results in failure of Foxp3 ***,our studies show that the Ssu72-mediated cytokine response coordinates the differentiation and function of Treg cells in the periphery.
