＜正＞Twenty-one patients with primary high-grade advanced gastric cancer in whom the presence of stage ? was con- firmed by preoperative diagnostic imaging,were treated with a wide-spectrum regimen,designated as FEPMTX therapy to establish an effective salvage *** therapy consisted of 5-fluorouracil（5-FU）and the triple biochemical modulators;methotrexate（MTX）,calcium leucovorin（LV）,cisplatin（CDDP）,and in addition of epiru- bicin（EPI）.The schedule comprised 3 days continuous administration of 5-FU（350 mg/m2/day）and MTX（35 mg/ m2）on day 1,LV（30 mg/m2）on the day 2,LV（30 mg/m2）and CDDP（30 mg/m2）and EPI（20 mg/m2）on day *** treatment was performed two or more courses with 2 weeks interval in *** partial responses（PR）, five no changes（NC）and five progressive diseases（PD）were obtained,and the response rate was 52%.Ten patients （PR 7,NC 2,PD 1）were received gastrectomy（resectability rate 48%）.The survival in all cases resulted in median survival of 184 days and one-year survival rate of 23%.While there is no significant difference insurvival between the cases with or without the resection of the primary lesion,the survival of responders was significantly longer than that of non-responders（median survival time;responder 356days,non-responder 152days）.Adverse effects such as myelo- suppression and anorexia and fatigue sometimes occurred,but were mild and all the patients well *** therapy is thought to be an effective regimen for neoadjuvant chemotherapy with longer survival and little toxic for patients with stage?gastric cancer.

Detrital zircon geochronology and Hf isotope analysis can be used for inferring provenance characteristics,and to evaluate the tectonic evolution of sedimentary basins and their link with regional *** Paleozoic sequences of the Okcheon Belt consist of the Lower Paleozoic Joseon and the Upper Paleozoic Pyeongan supergroups with Middle Paleozoic hiatus locally on top of the Neoproterozoic bimodal volcanic rocks,reflecting an intracontinental rift setting between the two basements(*** and Yeongnam massifs)at southern part of the Korean *** detrital zircon U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotope results show that all these Paleozoic strata commonly have Paleoproterozoic and Paleozoic zircon ages with rare Meso-to Neoproterozoic *** individual zircon populations display following features,allowing estimation of their sedimentary provenances:(i)The Paleoproterozoic zircons(ca.1.85 Ga and 2.50 Ga)with similar ranges ofεHf(t)values are most common in the basement rocks of the Korean Peninsula,and were sourced from both the Gyeonggi and Yeongnam massifs.(ii)The Meso-to Neoproterozoic zircons,preserved only in the Middle to Late Cambrian clastic sedimentary rocks within the carbonate sequences probably reflect proximal provenance.(iii)The youngest Paleozoic zircons of each formation,almost coincident with their deposition ages,suggest presence of syndepositional magmatism,indicating proximal magmatic sources during their deposition.(iv)The Cambrian-Ordovician zircons,from the Lower Paleozoic sequences,but rare in the successive Upper Paleozoic sequences,suggest a provenance change after the hiatus between the two sedimentary successions.(v)The Permian zircons showing differentεHf(t)values indicate that detrital sources were varied at that *** integrated results in our study suggest provenance variability linked to diverse tectonic environments,reflecting prolonged subduction-related crustal evolution of the proto-Korean Peninsula during the Paleozo

Objective: Precision medicine approaches emphasize the importance of reliable prognostic tools for guiding individualized therapy decisions. In this study, we evaluated the clinical feasibility of the single patient classifier(SPC) test, a new clinical-grade prognostic assay, in stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ gastric cancer ***: A prospective multicenter study was conducted, involving 237 patients who underwent gastrectomy between September 2019 and August 2020 across nine hospitals. The SPC test was employed to stratify patients into risk groups, and its feasibility and performance were evaluated. The primary endpoint was the proportion of the cases in which the test results were timely delivered before selecting postoperative treatment. Furthermore, 3-year disease-free survivals of risk groups were ***: The SPC test met the primary endpoint criteria. The 99.5% of SPC tests were timely delivered to hospitals before the postoperative treatment started. In a clinical setting, the median time from the specimen transfer to laboratory to the result delivery to hospital was 4 d. Furthermore, 3-year disease-free survivals were significantly different between risk groups classified with SPC ***: This study highlights the SPC test's feasibility in offering crucial information timely delivered for making informed decisions regarding postoperative treatment strategies. It also provides evidence to support the implementation of a future prospective clinical trial aimed at evaluating the clinical utility of the SPC test in guiding personalized treatment decisions for gastric cancer patients.

Objective: Atopic dermatitis(AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that may be linked to changes in the gut microbiome. Acupuncture has been proven to be effective in reducing AD symptoms without serious adverse events, but its underlying mechanism is not completely understood. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the potential effect of acupuncture on AD is gut ***: AD-like skin lesions were induced by applying MC903 topically to the cheek of the *** was done at the Gok-Ji(LI11) acupoints. AD-like symptoms were assessed by lesion scores,scratching behavior, and histopathological changes; intestinal barrier function was measured by fecal output, serum lipopolysaccharide levels, histopathological changes, and mRNA expression of markers involved in intestinal permeability and inflammation. Gut microbiota was profiled using 16S rRNA gene sequencing from fecal ***: Acupuncture effectively improved chronic itch as well as the AD-like skin lesions with epidermal thickening, and also significantly altered gut microbiota structure as revealed by β-diversity indices and analysis of similarities. These beneficial effects were eliminated by antibiotic depletion of gut microbiota,but were reproduced in gut microbiota-depleted mice that received a fecal microbiota transplant from acupuncture-treated mice. Interestingly, AD mice had intestinal barrier dysfunction as indicated by increased intestinal permeability, atrophy of the mucosal structure(reduced villus height and crypt depth), decreased expression of tight junctions and mucus synthesis genes, and increased expression of inflammatory mediators in the ileum. Maximizing power saving with state transition overhead for multiple mobile subscriber stations in WiMAX

In the IEEE 802.16e/m standard, three power saving classes （PSCs） are defined to save the energy of a mobile sub- scriber station （MSS）. However, how to set the parameters of PSCs to maximize the power saving and guarantee the quality of service is not specified in the standard. Thus, many algorithms were proposed to set the PSCs in IEEE 802.16 networks. However, most of the proposed algorithms consider only the power saving for a single MSS. In the algorithms designed for multiple MSSs, the sleep state, which is set for activation of state transition overhead power, is not considered. The PSC setting for real-time connections in multiple MSSs with consideration of the state transition overhead is studied. The problem is non-deterministic polynomial time hard （NP-hard）, and a suboptimal algorithm for the problem is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that the energy saving of the proposed algorithm is higher than that of state-of-the-art algorithms and approaches the optimum limit.
