A multiscale differential-algebraic neural network-based method for learning dynamical systems

The objective of dynamical system learning tasks is to forecast the future behavior of a system by leveraging observed ***,such systems can sometimes exhibit rigidity due to significant variations in component parameters or the presence of slow and fast variables,leading to challenges in *** overcome this limitation,we propose a multiscale differential-algebraic neural network(MDANN)method that utilizes Lagrangian mechanics and incorporates multiscale information for dynamical system *** MDANN method consists of two main components:the Lagrangian mechanics module and the multiscale *** Lagrangian mechanics module embeds the system in Cartesian coordinates,adopts a differential-algebraic equation format,and uses Lagrange multipliers to impose constraints explicitly,simplifying the learning *** multiscale module converts high-frequency components into low-frequency components using radial scaling to learn subprocesses with large differences in *** results demonstrate that the proposed MDANN method effectively improves the learning of dynamical systems under rigid conditions.

With the shortage of lithium resources,sodiumion batteries(SIBs)are considered one of the most promising candidates for lithium-ion batteries.P2-type and O3-type layered oxides are one of the few cathodes that can access high energy ***,they usually exhibit structural change,capacity decay,and slow Na ion ***,we present layered ternary-phase cathodes with P2,P3 and O3 phases by a lattice doping strategy,which is demonstrated by X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** the characteristics of P2,P3 and O3 phases,the layered composites show performance improvement during long-term battery *** particular,Na_(0.7)Li_(0.1)Co_(0.3-)Fe_(0.3)Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NLCFM)delivers a reversible capacity of120.1 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1C(1.0C=175 mA·g^(-1))with a superior capacity retention of 72.5%after 1000 cycles *** work offers insights into the development of advanced cathode materials for SIBs.

Microscopes are indispensable tools in modern biology and medicine. With the development of microscopy, the signal-tonoise ratio of microscopes is now limited by the shot noise. Recently, quantum-enhanced microscopic imaging provides a feasible approach for improving the signal-to-noise ratio since it can beat the shot-noise limit by using quantum light. In this review, we first briefly introduce quantum states applied in quantum-enhanced microscopic imaging, and then we provide an overview of the principle and progress of quantum-enhanced stimulated Raman scattering microscopy, entangled twophoton microscopy,and quantum-enhanced differential interference contrast microscopy.

With its untameable and traceable properties,blockchain technology has been widely used in the field of data *** to preserve individual privacy while enabling efficient data queries is one of the primary issues with secure data *** this paper,we study verifiable keyword frequency(KF)queries with local differential privacy in *** the numerical and the keyword attributes are present in data objects;the latter are sensitive and require privacy ***,prior studies in blockchain have the problem of trilemma in privacy protection and are unable to handle KF *** propose an efficient framework that protects data owners’privacy on keyword attributes while enabling quick and verifiable query processing for KF *** framework computes an estimate of a keyword’s frequency and is efficient in query time and verification object(VO)size.A utility-optimized local differential privacy technique is used for privacy *** data owner adds noise locally into data based on local differential privacy so that the attacker cannot infer the owner of the keywords while keeping the difference in the probability distribution of the KF within the privacy *** propose the VB-cm tree as the authenticated data structure(ADS).The VB-cm tree combines the Verkle tree and the Count-Min sketch(CM-sketch)to lower the VO size and query *** VB-cm tree uses the vector commitment to verify the query *** fixed-size CM-sketch,which summarizes the frequency of multiple keywords,is used to estimate the KF via hashing *** conduct an extensive evaluation of the proposed *** experimental results show that compared to theMerkle B+tree,the query time is reduced by 52.38%,and the VO size is reduced by more than one order of magnitude.

Background The aim of this study was to review current delivery room(DR)resuscitation intensity in Chinese tertiary neonatal intensive care units and to investigate the association between DR resuscitation intensity and short-term outcomes in preterm infants born at 24+0_31+6 weeks gestation age(GA).Methods This was a retrospective cross-sectional *** source population was infants born at 24+0_31+6 weeks'GA who were enrolled in the Chinese Neonatal Network 2019 *** infants were categorized into five groups:(1)regular care;(2)oxygen supplementation and/or continuous positive airway pressure(O2/CPAP);(3)mask ventilation;(4)endotracheal intubation;and(5)cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).The association between DR resuscitation and shortterm outcomes was evaluated by inverse propensity score-weighted logistic *** Of 7939 infants included in this cohort,2419(30.5%)received regular care,1994(25.1%)received O,/CPAP,1436(18.1%)received mask ventilation,1769(22.3%)received endotracheal intubation,and 321(4.0%)received CPR in the *** maternal age and maternal hypertension correlated with a higher need for resuscitation,and antenatal steroid use tended to be associated with a lower need for resuscitation(Psuscitation in DR after adjusting for perinatal *** strategies vary widely between centers,with over 50%of preterm infants in eight centers requiring higher intensity *** Increased intensity of DR interventions was associated with increased mortality and morbidities in very preterm infants in *** is wide variation in resuscitative approaches across delivery centers,and ongoing quality improvement to standardize resuscitation practices is needed.

Utilizing granular computing to enhance artificial neural network architecture, a newtype of network emerges—thegranular neural network (GNN). GNNs offer distinct advantages over their traditional counterparts: The ability toprocess both numerical and granular data, leading to improved interpretability. This paper proposes a novel designmethod for constructing GNNs, drawing inspiration from existing interval-valued neural networks built uponNNNs. However, unlike the proposed algorithm in this work, which employs interval values or triangular fuzzynumbers for connections, existing methods rely on a pre-defined numerical network. This new method utilizesa uniform distribution of information granularity to granulate connections with unknown parameters, resultingin independent GNN structures. To quantify the granularity output of the network, the product of two commonperformance indices is adopted: The coverage of numerical data and the specificity of information *** this combined performance index helps determine the optimal parameters for the network. Finally,the paper presents the complete model construction and validates its feasibility through experiments on datasetsfrom the UCIMachine Learning Repository. The results demonstrate the proposed algorithm’s effectiveness andpromising performance.
